Awesome Wild Dunes Home -Just Steps to the Beach - Free WiFi

Beautifully decorated home in the highly desired Pelican Bay community of Wild Dunes. Just across the street from the beach, with a relaxing community pool. Master bedroom has a King bed and full bath. The upstairs bedrooms share a full hall bath and one has a queen bed and the other two twins as well as a private balcony. Enjoy a relaxing view of the amazing sunsets as you overlook the large lagoon in the back of the house. You might even get a glimpse of 'Allie' the neighborhood alligator sunning herself on the edge of the lagoon. If you are an early riser you can enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise as you rock on the front porch.

Located just a 20 minute drive from historic Charleston, there are numerous sites to see and places to shop. Within 5 miles there are over 15 restaurants, 7 golf courses, 3 marinas and several parks. Enjoy golf, tennis, nature adventures, boating, water sports and deep sea or in shore fishing. You may prefer a relaxing day at the spa or just sunning on the beach. Wild Dunes has daily activities for both adults and children. Rent a bike or bring your own and enjoy miles of scenic trails.

ADDITIONAL RENTAL INFORMATION

Weekly rentals only from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Cleaning fee for 3 nights or less. Monthly winter rental available.
Our cleaning service uses hospital grade disinfectants after each rental to protect our guests. Our pillows and mattresses have been treated with Microban antimicrobial.

Great place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to the Isle of Palms and nearby Charleston. The house was just what we wanted, we visited the pool nearby, walked along the beach and sat out on the porch watching the fish and Allie the Alligator who came out the water and chilled out under the tree. The only (very slight) niggles were, being foreigners we could have done with a bit of help on working the TVs and the furniture in the third bedroom was a bit "sticky" and we could only really use three of the drawers easily. The recycling bin was full to overflowing and collection dates weren't particularly well set out. However, these were very minor issues and didn't detract from our enjoyment. The Obstinate Daughter on Sullivan's Island was a great restaurant and the ice cream sold in the shop underneath was to die for. A very happy week.

Perfect house for a girls trip

This was the perfect house to get together with the girls! It was the perfect size and the location was wonderful. Such a close walk to the beach and a very reasonable drive to Charleston!

Perfect Girl’s Getaway

When 4 friends who have known each other for 40 years get together, you need just the right house. This place fit us perfectly! Coffee on the screened porch, a short walk to the beach and only 30 minutes to Charleston - all awesome. Having that 1/2 bath was a great bonus! We are already talking about coming back.

We enjoyed out stay over the Christmas Holiday. We set up a Christmas tree and made it feel like home. The property is a close walk to the beach and you could hear the ocean from the balcony.

Wonderful Family Beach Stay

We were in town for my son’s wedding. The house was perfect for my family! It was just steps from the beach and so close to fabulous restaurants. We also enjoyed watching the wildlife in the bay from the back screened in deck. “Alley” the alligator was a frequent visitor in the backyard!!

End of Summer getaway

I’m not new to Charleston area beaches or even Wild Dunes but we found the location and accommodations to be perfect for our needs. It was a short walk to the beach access and the pool (for those super windy days). The house was very clean, plenty of linens (extra blankets and pillows) and we were able to check in early. Jim was very responsive to questions before and during our stay. )

What a gem!

We had a wonderful week at Pelican Bay number 12. James, the owner was very attentive to our needs answered my questions within minutes. Bedrooms were roomy and clean, the bathrooms were as well. Plenty of seating and the screened in porch served a fun time watching the alligator in the backyard! My main point Is it was very close to the beach within 4 to 5 minutes max and the swimming pool is just a few houses down. very very affordable and accessible. Thank you for A wonderful week!

Fantastic Beach House in Wild Dunes!

This beach house was perfect for our family of 5. We had two teenagers and one child and they stayed upstairs. It was nice to have the master downstairs for us. The kitchen was stocked well - to allow us to have some meals. Lots of towels and bedding for everyone. The washer and dryer was very convenient. Front and back porches/patios were nice to sit outside - the view of the lagoon in back was pretty and fun to see the alligator and turtles in afternoons. They have some beach gear like chairs, boogie boards and sand toys in a storage unit in bottom floor which was great for kids to use. The beach is close-by - 5-10 min walk - so easy to run back for quick lunches or snacks. The house looks just like the pics show - updated and nicely decorated! Smart TVs in every room. The owner was very communicative and welcoming. Overall we had an awesome week and would stay there again.

Family reunion

Great location. Steps to the beach. The owner was very responsive to our emergency when the key pad failed access to the property. We did see the alligator in the back yard but when we tried to get a photo he immediately got into the water and swam away. AC works great there were beach chairs under the house and many boogie boards in the storage shed.

Great Property & Excellent Location

This property was as advertised. The owner was very communicative and the house and location were perfect for our family of five. A quick and flat walk to the beach. We utilized the pool and the end of the street and enjoyed the pond behind the house; seeing alligators and turtles. Would stay here again!
