Hidden Gem

Absolutely loved our stay at the Hidden Ranch! The cabin home was just as described if not better. The view from almost every window is beautiful even in the pouring rain. The host was very helpful and answered any questions we had promptly. Check in process was simple and we will definitely stay here again and again!

Wish we had more time in paradise

Such a beautiful property. We stayed there when our daughter got married at La Arboleda. It was perfect. Clean, comfortable and inviting. Just wish we had more time to just sit and enjoy nature.

Expansive beautiful property

The log home was well equipped with everything you need for a fabulous weekend. We enjoyed walking the grounds and meeting the animals. It was convenient to La Arboleda, where we attended our daughter’s wedding. There was enough space to enjoy family and friends in an intimate setting.

Wonderful Ranch!

So let me start by saying I’m reluctant to leave this review because now everyone will want to stay here and it’ll be that much harder for us to book! Because we absolutely will return — and I don’t think I’ve ever said that about a VRBO property! What a beautiful, authentic and exceptionally well-provisioned log cabin! Spacious, clean, secure and so so comfortable. Rooms were big, kitchen was great, loved the pool table. Adorable and inquisitive goats, happy sheep, the ranch dog, and a retired horse. A real ranch, away from the real world. In fact we felt a world away here. But not too far away from our readily available and always responsive host Erin. She was great. So close to great wineries and restaurants. Really loved it here. Thanks Erin for a much needed escape from our regular lives! You’ve carved out something special; thanks so much for sharing it with us. And for anyone reading this: No no, this is not the bucolic slice of heaven you were looking for. Nothing to see here. Let’s move it along. Ha! Thanks Erin!

Best Weekend Ever!

Our group (8 adults) absolutely loved this log cabin! It was perfect for our stay and everyone was comfortable with the common areas and bedrooms. The lawn made for some much needed rest and relaxation and even set the stage for a yoga class & sound bath. Some of us are locals and we felt like we were miles away! Everyone hopes to return again in the future. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

This property is truly tucked away from it all. The log cabin gives you the feeling that you are up in Montana or Wyoming, yet you are still in the mild climate of central coast California, with Lake Cachuma as well as gorgeous Santa Barbara beaches nearby. And since we are in the heart of Santa Barbara County wine country, you have a huge variety of wineries to explore. We also have our friendly animals (goats, chickens, sheep, horse and dog) on the ranch that you can feed and visit daily.
