About this property

I've taken this cozy early 20th century bungalow and brought it back to life. I decided to keep and refinish its hardwood floors to maintain some of the houses original character. Located near Wausau's bustling downtown, a few minutes from shopping on Rib Mountain Drive, and the Granite Peak Ski Resort. Two blocks separate you from the newly constructed riverfront and housing project on the beautiful Wisconsin River. There is a happening night life in downtown Wausau, a seemingly endless number of events on the 400 Block, funky and family friendly eateries, and plenty of recreation. Book your stay today! Christmas Vacation

I had a wonderful time staying and these property in Wausau. It was the first time my children came to WI. The house was very cozy and perfect for the four of us. Great location in the downtown area. I absolutely recommend this property if you are wanting a place to stay in Wausau. Additionally, Chad and his wife were extremely responsive with any question I had. Five stars for sure!!

Had a great stay, everything was as advertised and the host was very responsive. Be advised the stairs to the upstairs bedroom are very steep but our kids didn’t have any problem with them.

Blessing in time of need.

We were in the area due to family emergency. The home fit the bill perfectly: close to hospital and restaurants, clean, comfortable and gracious, accommodating host. Provided all of the amenities to make a stay away from home as pleasant as possible.

Very pleased

We enjoyed our stay at your property. The bedroom furniture was nice and there was plenty of room. We would recommend a printed manual of rules and how to “close” the property. I.e. strip beds. We couldn’t find the online manual. The propane tank on the grill ran out in the middle of our dinner. We highly recommend this property and wound definitely rent again.
