Exceptional property!

We recently stayed here, and it is a very clean, quiet, and well stocked property. There is a well stocked pantry with various spices, oils, and other food stuff that has been left by previous guests. I would definitely check the cupboards before you go shopping.The back deck is literally 20 feet from the water and you'll be treated to sea life and wonderful sunsets.The beds were great and we were well rested when we left.Definitely coming back.

Never disappointed

This is probably our 5th stay at West Beach Retreat! WBR has always been most inviting, clean and peaceful. We love walking the beach at low tide and love 'taking in' the waves at high tide. Our young adult daughters love to think of it as their very own vacation home:) Thank you Scott for sharing your beautiful property. Many memories made!!

Wonderful beach getaway

Everything about this stay was so relaxing - having the ocean in your actual backyard is magical! The house was beautiful, comfortable, and so well appointed. We got a windy and stormy day, and it was so nice to curl up and listen to and watch the stormy seas while being nice and cozy. We would definitely look forward to another stay, we wished we had more time!

Absolutely stunning views!

The property had everything we needed. The decor was peaceful and appealing. The house is so close to the water. We spent several hours just looking at birds and gazing at the beach and water. There are plenty of places to visit on Whidbey Island. I could have stayed another week. We hope to stay here again.

Beautiful Whidbey Island West Beach Getaway

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful "gals getaway" for 2 nights at this outstanding beach house on the west side of Whidbey Island. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed, 2 very comfortable bedrooms, newly remodeled bathroom with 2 sinks and huge shower, and living room/dining room furniture all in a updated "beachy" design for total comfort and relaxation. Beautiful sunsets over the Olympic Mountain range, beach walks in both directions right outside your front door, ducks, shorebirds, eagles, blue herons...This is the perfect spot! We would definitely come back here to stay again in the future.

West Beach Road

We love West Beach Road and this house was perfect for our stay. SUPER clean house. VERY well stocked kitchen. LOVED all the candles and the wood stove. We’ll be back!!

Perfect 180 view of the ocean

This is a 5 star stay, our favorite escape from city life. Almost want to keep it a secret. The cleanliness of the house, the abundance of amenities, the view, the location, everything about this place makes the perfect place for our small family to spend a few nights when school’s out. We will be coming back many times in the future.

We stayed there for a few days on a mini honeymoon. The waves breaking 5 feet from the patio is absolutely amazing. The house is fully stocked and extremely clean. We will be back for sure.

Beautiful location

We loved our stay at the retreat, beautiful views and very clean which we loved. It felt very cozy, inviting and the kitchen was fully stocked. The rooms each had their own heat/ac which we really appreciated.

Great House

We've stayed here a couple of times and love the house and the location. Beautiful view, a great trail for running or walking just down the street and everything you could need for your stay in terms of kitchen equipment, beach towels, etc. Property owners responded quickly when we reached out with questions. Highly recommend.

If I could give this listing more than 5 stars I certainly would. Amazing views, super clean and the kitchen utensils were nice, not like someone’s leftovers when they purchased new stuff. The place was just perfect! Muah! Chefs kiss!

Island Oasis

The West Beach Retreat was a perfect pick for a long ladies get-away weekend. The accommodations are clean and welcoming, exactly as described, maybe even a little better than described as it would be hard to articulate the special location of this home. Squeezed between ocean and a small lake, and within walking distance of a great park - you feel like you are a world away, but in reality the conveniences of town are a quick 10 min drive down the road. Crashing waves, beautiful views, sunrises and sunsets, all in a well equipped and comfortable space. There was literally nothing we were lacking while here. Needless to say, our trip wasn’t even half over with and mom was asking how soon we could bring her back again to stay!

Nice Time

Our stay in March was lovely. The property is in a nice location on the island with beautiful views. We ended up sleeping in the room that faces the water and it was a lovely way to wake up and the bed was very comfortable. Would stay again.

We honor our military at West Beach Retreat! We offer a 10% discount off the daily rental fee for all current active duty and former military members with military ID or proof of service. The offer is available to the person who books the property only not members of their party.

The grill is available from June through August only due to inclement weather and high winds we sometimes get limits us to seasonal access.
