Fantastic Place to stay

Claire is an excellent host. She was very attentive and patient in explaining all of the wonderful amenities. The place has 4 bedrooms, which allow a family a lot of space. The jacuzzi was a great addition to enjoy after a long day of tourist activities in Paris. I would certainly recommend this Vrbo to anyone wanting a spacious quiet place to stay. The metro and tram stops are very convenient and can get you anywhere in Paris. (It may be a little distance from the major sites, but it is worth it. Just plan on a few extra minutes for travel. If you plan to stay more than just a few days, buy the Navigo Découverte Pass. ( We could go,all,over Paris as well as Versailles and Disneyland with that pass.)

This was quite the unique flat. We needed a larger place as we were traveling with another family so there were 7 in our group. The building contains 3 separate flats and shared space on the ground and basement floors. The hosts live in the building and were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They had a website set up with lots of information about the renal and the neighborhood. You will be walking up 3 flights of stairs to reach the flat and two more flights of stairs in the flat itself, which helps burn off some of the calories you will consume with all the delicious bread, pastries, cheese and wine :) This neighborhood is not near the major tourist attractions but has plenty of shops, restaurants, bakeries, etc and is a few blocks from the Metro so it's easy to get anywhere from here. We were here during an active period of city protests and it was very quiet (unlike the other apartment we stayed at near the river the week before). The kitchen is small but functional and well stocked, including a Nespresso machine, French Press, teas, oils, spices etc (look around before you go to the store). There are plenty of great groceries at nearby stores and bakeries. The furniture is all very comfortable, and the linens are nice. The decor is artistic and interesting (one of the owners is an artist and much of the art in the flat is hers). The owners' housekeeper stopped by most days to take out trash and do a light cleanup which was wonderful. There is a huge video screen that comes down from the ceiling in the master bedroom upstairs (Apple TV and other streaming services) and a great Soundsystem that you can connect to with your smartphone. There is a speaker downstairs as well that has a Bluetooth connection. The rooftop hot tub off the master bedroom was wonderful. There are bathrooms with showers on each of the three floors. The nearby park is also very lovely and includes a pond with swans. If we needed another large place, we would definitely stay here again.

Great accomodations for large groups

We had nine people in our group, all over 18 years of age, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Claire is a wonderful host. I highly recommend this for large groups.

Great apartment. Multiple levels.

We had a great experience at this unit. The owner was easy to work with and very accommodating. The u it was well furnished and in a good central location. There aren’t a ton of restaurants very close, so if you’re wanting a lot of variety of foods within walking distance, keep that in mind. Otherwise, we loved the apartment and would stay here again!

Wonderful stay in Paris for whole family

We had a wonderful time in Paris and our accommodations in this home were perfect! There were places for everyone to chill, very well appointed (especially liked the Nespresso) and plenty of room with great beds, bathrooms and kitchen spaces. Definitely plan to recommend this property to everyone we know who needs this size of apartment. The host is most helpful and gracious. Her extra assistance (online and in person) were exceptional!

Very accommodating host

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is conveniently close to a lot of public transport and a wonderful public park. The bedrooms, bathrooms and living area are all very good. There are a significant number of stairs to get to the unit and within the unit, so just be aware of that. We had a great time and Claire was a wonderfully accommodating and helpful host! We really appreciated her hospitality.

Lovely sweet Parisian apartment

Our stay was wonderful! The host, Claire and her family were so helpful and accommodating. We made great memories here and would definitely recommend for larger families and groups. Close by to a metro and supermarkets.

Great apartment!!

We had an incredible time. Clare abc her husky were immensely helpful during our stay. The surrounding businesses were also great to us and our daughters. Location as quiet at night, close to s metro station. Would definitely stay there again.

Great experience

We loved the property! It had plenty of space for my party of 10. Claire was very accommodating and helpful. There was a notebook with helpful tips for the apartment and best ways to get around the city. The apartment was just a short walk to the metro. It is still within Zone 1, so it only cost us 1.9€ to get to most places within the city. There was plenty of plates, cutlery and cups for us to enjoy a few meals together. There were several grocery stores within a 5-10 minute walk. I would definitely stay here again!

Just as I expected!!!

This was one of my best Airbnb stays! The only complaint I have is that I don’t want to see a French baguette for a LONG time! Every morning we had a French breakfast waiting for us. Claire was the absolute best from the time I contacted her and all through our stay. She was always available for any and everything we needed. The place itself was very nice, lots and lots of steps! We had 10 adults and plenty of space to move around in. The building was walking distance to a main area where we could grocery shop, eat out, bakery, shopping etc. Half of us used the Metro and could walk straight to the station and half of us used Uber’s which were never expensive. I highly recommend Claire’s place for a family vacation, we had the time of our lives!

Wonderful apartment. Great for large group - had 5 adults and 4 children. Great location- easy to walk to public transportation. Claire is extremely attentive. We were running late on our arrival date - she had given me her phone number so I could text her as we got closer. She met us at the apartment around 830pm ( we had anticipated being there around 400); let us in the apartment; was always extremely helpful!! Highly recommend!!

Great Place for a Large Group!

We traveled with our four married children, so needed a five bedroom place for ten adults! The LeVaud’s home was an excellent choice. We wanted a place to gather and eat and visit, not separate hotel rooms. This fit the bill! We thought the location was a bit far from the main tourist sights, but loved being out in the real neighborhood. The metro, bus and trams were close. Bakeries, creperies, and groceries were all within a block or two. The LeVauds were helpful and we were very comfortable! We love Paris!

After walking up 3 flights of stairs, you come to the first level of this home with 3 bedrooms and one bath. The a/c units in the bedrooms were more of a challenge than the stairs. The Floors were dirty, etc., etc.

Neat place and good location

Good stay! Was a little hot in the lower bedrooms and a little dusty here and there (and stinky diaper left from previous guests) but otherwise no complaints. Master shower was pretty cool and host was nice and responsive.

Truly Blessed

Family vacation, and we could of not asked for a more supportive host than Claire and her family. Once I reserved the housing, and made contact with Claire, she provided and responded to my questions and made adjustments when needed. Once we arrived, Claire on site to greet the family and provide a detail tour of the house and amenities. The location of the apartment close to local transportation and eating establishments. Tourist attractions, bus ride, metro or private car service easily accessible. The apartment, suited the number of family members at different age ranges. The top loft for the younger ones in the group. Yes, there are stairs, but its vacation time, and they continued to prepare the group for our daily outings. The apartment set up for preparing meals if you decided to do so, and if we required assistance with anything, Claire on site to provide. Finally, if you are looking for a warm welcome, and genius hostess, and wonderful Paris living experience, you can't beat Claire's wonderful apartment. Thank Claire (and your family) for making this Paris experience a lifetime memory for myself and family. Rene' d.

Exellent property as we had 2 couples and each had two teenage sons and we all had good space.

Propertywas well located on southern side of river in quiet area. Mrs Lavaud was very helpful and pointing out the benefits of the property and had area maps of Paris and metro links. Our teenagers all had their own rooms and were happy with the property. Overall very high marks and we would stay there again

It was Amazing. Very clean and lots of space for our family of 10.

It was our first time in Paris. We were a bit nervous but Claire and her family were Awesome. They welcomed us with open arms. Always ready to assist with anything. They gave us the information to take the correct taxi to apartment. We had food and drinks in the refrigerator. She showed us how to use the washing machine and provided the laundry detergents, paper towels and toilet paper. She printed maps for us to get on and off trains. She went out of her way to make our vacation wonderful. Before we left she called and arranged taxi to airport and made arrangements for my aunt who required wheelchair assistance to her gate. Customer Service was EXCELLENT. We didn’t know that Paris doesn’t have elevator at apartments, everything is stairs but she even helped us bring our luggage upstairs upon arrival and downstairs when we departed. A very happy and peaceful environment she provides and we are very thankful to have been so lucky to rent from her. Absolutely amazing woman and family. Definitely five stars!

Wonderful week in Paris

My family (a total of 9 of us) spent 6 days at the Claire Lavaud property. I can't say enough about our host, Claire. She was so helpful with anything we needed. She is kind and a lovely person. The property is clean and has just about everything you will need for your stay in Paris. Our only real problem was the amount of stairs getting up to the property and then inside the apartment as my husband has bad knees. We managed but it was difficult to climb the stairs for him after a long day of seeing the sites in Paris. It was also unseasonably hot during the first 2 days of our stay and a couple of our rooms did not have any A/C however there were fans. The property is located near the metro line as well as shops, bakeries and restaurants. I highly recommend this property as long as you are fine with the stairs and hopefully there isn't a heat spell while you are there.

Groupe de 15 personnes dans le cadre de la découverte de Paris

Nous étions un groupe d'amis avec des adolescents. Nous avons fait confiance par internet à la réservation des unités de logements loué par Claire Lavaud et nous n'avons pas été déçu. Rendu sur place tout était conforme au descriptif, aucune mauvaises surprise. Unité de logement très très spacieuse pour Paris. Mme Lavaud est également une bonne source de référence afin de guider le groupe sur des questions touristiques et logistique. Les commerces environnants offre tout ce dont vous avez de besoin. Boucherie, pâtisserie, métro, autobus, RER, etc. tout est près de l'unité de logement. Lors de notre passage malheureusement un spa sur deux était ouvert mais je suis convaincu que cela n'est pas toujours ainsi. Un seul nous as suffit. Dans la chambre des maîtres, wow un écran géant avec des hauts parleurs et des films a profusion. Nos enfants ont adorés. L'unité du haut (10 personnes) continent et pour se rendre et pour y demeurer beaucoup de marches donc attention si vous êtes des gens à mobilité réduite. Sinon cela se fait très très bien ce n'est pas un problème. Ce n'est pas facile de savoir si on peut avoir confiance pour louer par internet, mais je peux vous assurer que de notre côté nous n'avons pas été déçu. Salutations à Claire et à sa famille. Comfortable home in Arr. 14

We loved staying in this Paris home. It was Three blocks from the metro. It had 4 bedrooms and a shower/bath on the third floor, a living room, kitchen and shower on the 4th floor and a master bedroom with shower, and a jacuzzi up a ladder on the 5th floor. The jacuzzi saved our tired feet! The house had great breezes through three of the bedrooms and the piano was a wonderful addition. Claire was welcoming and easily reachable by texting if we needed a question answered. The only negative is the stairs which is common with many city apartments, but great for large groups of people that wanted a more personal atmosphere.

Great family holiday in luxurious family apartment

The apartment was idealy suited for our family of 7 adults and 3 children. It was very handy for all public transport and restaraunts. The host Claire and her family were most helpful in providing information about the area and getting around Paris. Nothing was any trouble for them at any time of the day or night.

Great Paris Apartment

We were a group of 8 travelling at the end of June. The apartment was very comfortable for us and was in a great location. It was convenient to the Metro and buses and also had plenty of nice bakeries, markets and shops. The owner made us feel very welcome and was available if we had any questions. We really enjoyed our stay, even the weather was perfect!

Bailie's Dream Come True

First, I would like to Thank Claire for her wonderful hospitality. She wanted to do so much more then we let her. That says a lot about a person/owner of a rental property. The flat was amazing! We had a party of 9-11 through the 12 days that we stayed! Claire offered information about all transportation, food, etc. Her family was respectful, kind and gracious. I would recommend that even if you have a couple of people, to rent this flat. Location was perfect, transportation was a block away, amazing cafe's and maximum shopping was available. Our street was beautiful, hot tub was most relaxing and so appropriate/specific to our special needs. Massages were out of this world and scheduled right away, they were fairly priced and the Sauna after the massage was a spectacular ending! Kitchen was well stocked when we arrived and the market was right around the corner. The big market even delivered our groceries if needed. If you want the most amazing location to explore Paris from, this is by far the most accommodating.
