Great house and location

We had a wonderful stay here. My husband was completing his winter 46ers this weekend, so this was a very convenient location for getting to the trailheads at the Adirondack Loj, as well as for walking into town. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the game room was fun. There was about a foot of snow while we were there, and it was a cozy spot to enjoy the storm! The road was not plowed while we were there so if snow is in the forecast, come prepared with shovels. We all have AWD cars so we had no issues. We were able to fit 7 cars but any more than that would be too tight. Would definitely stay here again!

Incredible

Thank you for such a great time. My whole family was there and not one person didn't have a good time. Close to everything we wanted to do and the scenery was beautiful. It's like a whole different world. The snow on the trees was beautiful. Highly recommend place to go.

Annual Fall Golf Outing

17th year of our annual fall golf outing. We’ve been friends for 20+ years. Attendance is between 6-9 guys each year. Some working still, some retired, some living in NY, some living out of state. One way or another we make it every year and had a great time. The house is great. It’s nice sharing a house instead of hotel rooms.

Spacious house

This was a great house for our two families! The 5 bedrooms each felt very private. Air hockey and pop a shot were a hit with the kids (and dads) and it was nice to have two tv areas. River view was nice too!

A Marvelous Stay

We very much enjoyed the property and it's private stairway to the babbling waters. We appreciated it's close proximity to everything we wanted to do, while still being very private. We were happy to have such a great space to have our family's first post covid reunion. And David and Kim were easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

A lovely getaway within walking distance of all Lake Placid has to offer! The property is clean and spacious, exactly as advertised. Kim, the property manager is a fantastic communicator, and I cannot recommend this rental enough!

Nice, quiet spot near downtown Lake Placid

Overall, had a nice stay - great backyard and lots of space for people. We had some trouble sleeping on the pretty firm beds and pillows that didn't suit our sleeping style. If possible, bring your own pillows. The backyard is completely wonderful and the host is responsive. Thanks!

This is our second time staying in the house, and we will definitely be back again for a 3rd! House is well stocked, clean, and convenient to walk to town. Lots of exploring down at the Brook for our kids. Recently upgraded amenities, and several new appliances. Great house for families or friends to share for a weekend or a week!

Quiet, good location, roomy and well equipped

We were a ski group of 7 adults. The place had more than enough room for us and was quite well equipped (especially the kitchen). The games in the basement were an added fun! I don’t even think the futon couch (which probably folds down into a bed) was mentioned in the write-up. The location is good — quiet and only a 10-15 min walk to downtown. Very enjoyable!

Wonderful experience

The house was everything that was described and more. It is a beautiful, very clean house with plenty of room. The whole family enjoyed the game room. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal. Great communication. Will definitely book again.

Family ski trip to place placid

This house is great for multiple families to spend a vacation in lake placid. Plenty of room to sleep and has all items in kitchen and bathrooms. Easy drive or walk into downtown lake placid and short 15 min drive to the whiteface mountain. Overall would recommend.

Wonderful family-friendly house

Everyone in our group of ten people really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed, and there were a number of pleasant surprises from a well-supplied kitchen to kids DVDs that entertained our little one. The game room was great, and both kids and adults had fun with the air hockey, basketball game, and dartboard. The bedrooms were all comfortable. The stream was beautiful and a peaceful place to escape when some of us needed a quiet moment. Location is very convient. The property manager, Kim, is wonderful. She responded in minutes to a couple questions that I asked, and was generally very friendly and helpful. I recommend the house wholeheartedly. The only reason I I gave 4 stas instead of 5 for accuracy of online listing is because the front of the house must have recently been painted a different color so it doesn't look the same as in the opening picture on VRBO. I was initially very worried that maybe we were at the wrong place, but all the rest was exactly as described.
