Spacious and Well Supplied

The property is well thought out, with many spaces for gathering. It also has the most well stocked kitchen we have ever see. A pleasure to cook in.

Great Family Reunion

We enjoyed our stay with our extended family of 14 ranging in age from 2-65. The pool was awesome with floats available and plenty of lounge chairs. The location is a bit remote, but very close to the Safari Park and about a 35 minute drive to Legoland. The separate guest suites were a little tricky with parents and young kids, but we made it work. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had about the property. Would recommend for large family gatherings.

Stay-cation

The house was beautiful! It had every amenity you could want. The pool was exceptional! We spent most of the time in the pool. Oh, and should mention the organic garden. The tomatoes were a hit with our family! We made homemade salsa with them. Amazing!! Thank you for a great vacation!! We would absolutely recommend this house to anyone.

Magical Unforgettable Week!

My family and friends rented the house for my oldest son’s wedding and to celebrate my milestone birthday. ❤️ The house was amazing! Great kitchen and outdoor/ pool area. Excellent for entertaining! The surprise bonus was the garden which provided fresh tomatoes, strawberries and herbs each day and the gorgeous flowers all around the exterior of the house! Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable! The property lived up to and exceeded expectations! Thank you again for sharing your lovely home!

Staycation of your dreams!

Wonderful place to go and feel like you are away from it all. The views are spectacular, the grounds were magical and they had the place well stocked for everything you could imagine. Would definitely recommend to anyone with small children, pool is very safe with gate and they had a crib and high chair already there! They even had a baby floaty! Thank you for the needed get away! We will be back!

Your Own Personal Resort

I have to just start by simply saying this place is amazing!!! I really can't overstate what a wonderful stay we had. Immediately upon checking in we could tell how much pride the owners take in this home, and there was even a bottle of wine and a local olive oil waiting for us (both of which were delicious). The garden and fruit trees gave us fresh strawberries, tomatoes, basil, oranges and lemons throughout our whole stay. The entire house was immaculately clean with all the amenities you could need. We had our infant daughter with us and they even provided a full size crib and high chair. It was only our immediate family this trip, but this house could easily hold a much larger group, and now we are already planning how to get our extended family to come for a visit so we can all stay here together. The pool and hot tub were the perfect way to end the days while watching the sunset over the mountains. It truly felt like we were at a personal resort. Everything felt very private as well, while at the same, it was only minutes from a huge public park complex and the safari park. And if you like to cook or BBQ, the kitchen and outdoor grill set-up are fantastic! And the owners were very responsive and so nice. I could go on and on about how great this place is, but honestly, you just have to experience for yourself. We can't wait to come back!

Better than we could have imagined!

This property is simply amazing. The views are phenomenal, especially at sunset. The fruit trees were incredible along with the beautiful pool! This house was extremely well stocked with everything we needed! There was more than enough room for our family of 14. Thank you for sharing this house with us! We hated to leave!

Don’t Ever Want to Leave

So please don’t stay here...I want the property available when we can come again, SOON, I hope! We’ve stayed in many rental units/ houses all over the world, none as complete and welcoming as this. From layout to privacy, decor to comfortable complete kitchen function, this home has it all. The weather was bad; we couldn’t even use the pool (a necessity during our search), but the space, games, and books available enabled us to have a great time. No need to bring anything but toothpaste, everything is there. Please don’t rent here; we want it for ourselves!

50th Anniversary

What a wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary! We had four adult children and 4 grandchildren with us. House is simply beautiful. Kitchen was well stocked with spices, plenty of utensils, cooking pots and pans. There was nothing to want for from kitchen to bathroom necessities. The grandkids LOVED the pool and hot tub. The adults loved having enough room outside to relax and just ge together and catch up Lisa was very accommodating every time I would text her. She was very quick to get back with me. The host manager was awesome, called to see is we needed anything and was equally quick to answer our questions. Some of our friends were interested in this place and I will definitely tell them they need to stay at this place. Highly recommend this VRBO.

Breathtaking Views and Amazing Amenities

We enjoyed our visit to the San Diego area for my daughter's wedding at Bernardo Winery. Staying in this property made our visit even more exciting. One is in awe as soon as the car turns in the driveway with the beautiful trees lining the downhill driveway to the gate. After entering, there is a small bridge crossing over to the parking area alongside the gorgeous home. The landscaping is well planned and breathtaking. The owners thought of everything to accommodate guests of any age. Our ages range from 8 months to 72 years. There are toddler/baby swings on the front porch, which includes lots of seating and rocking chairs to enjoy the scenery. There is a nice cement walkway downhill on the back side of the property leading to many different fruit trees, which are delicious! There are chairs on a patio at the bottom of the cement trail to relax and enjoy the various fruits. The swimming pool and spa are worth every penny! One edge of the pool overlooks the fruit garden area. We enjoyed s'mores over the fire pit, which is gas and easy to use. There is ample lighting around the pool to enjoy night swimming. In addition, there is a table and refrigerator outside for guests to use while relaxing outside. The inside of the house is beautifully decorated with every amenity imaginable. I love cooking and was in awe of the layout of the kitchen and items available for use, such as baking items, seasonings, grilling items, large pots, serving platters, herb garden, etc. We did need to purchase paper plates or reusable plates. I was too nervous to let my guests use the dishes. I felt like I was at home with everything I needed in my kitchen. There are plenty of bath towels and beach towels. There is a Keurig and full size coffee pot. The bathrooms were equipped with toilet paper, hand soap and room spray! The beds are comfortable, not too soft and not too hard. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs in the main house. The crib was perfect for my granddaughter and in the same room with a king sized bed for my son and his wife. The showers are nice and roomy with rainfall shower heads. There is a large washer and dryer in a separate room downstairs. The bungalows are just as nice and well equipped. The downstairs bungalow has a stack-able washer/dryer. There are kitchens and bathrooms in both bungalows. Lisa ordered hand-railings and a shower chair for my mom and mother-in-law. My deepest heartfelt gratitude goes out to Lisa and highly recommend this property!

Beautiful and refined property, ideally located for easy access to the west coast.

I rented the property with six fellow golfers and the location was perfectly situated for easy access to our tee times. The pool and hot tub are great additions and the house is perfect for socializing and having a great time. I hope we will be back in the near future.

Absolutely stunning with wonderful hosts!

My team of film makers came to San Diego for a commercial shoot and we rented this home to stay. The hosts were so wonderful and incredibly responsive. The home was fully stocked with everything you needed and very clean. Upon arriving we felt welcomed and right at home. Would recommend to anyone!

Exceeded all of our expectations

Our entire family had a wonderful time from Christmas to New Years. The property is beautiful and so well equipped for the needs all all ages. The kitchen had everything we needed (and more) to prepare great meals. The little ones enjoyed the pool every day. The heater worked great and it was a highlight for them to swim everyday!! The garden and other amenities made it even better. The beds (even in the guest areas) are comfortable and most are king sized. I would recommend this property wholeheartedly. Thanks to Lisa and Jerry and Moe for a great experience.

Couldn't Have Asked for Anything More!

Our stay at the Hidden Garden Estates was nothing short of amazing. Lisa and Dennis were the most gracious hosts from beginning to end and even spoiled us with fresh offerings from their amazing garden! The house is beautiful and has everything you need and more...Lisa and Dennis thought of everything and were extremely responsive to anything we needed or asked about. The main house and pool area were laid out perfectly for all of us adults and kids to hang out and play and add to it the new and beautifully decorated guest villas and there is plenty of space for all. We felt completely safe and comfortable during our entire stay. It was the perfect place for our family to spend time together, relax and create memories. Thank you!!!
