Benvenuto in Music Maker. Tutto il fascino e tanto comfort, oltre ai mobili da esterno! Questo grazioso e confortevole cottage si trova sul Coast Guard Point (f / k / a Canal Street), la penisola che forma il bordo nord-occidentale del respiro prendendo il Grand Marais Harbour. Fai una passeggiata fuori dalla porta sul retro di Agate Beach, che è una breve passeggiata attraverso le piccole dune sabbiose. Rinfrescati nelle acque cristalline del Lago Superiore. Più tardi cammina o vai in bici in città per cena, gelato o un po 'di shopping. Quindi torna al tuo ritiro in spiaggia e ammira uno dei nostri famosi tramonti sul Lago Superiore. Peace and quiet

Great location for all the Grand Marais delights. The house is cozy and we felt right at home. Could hear the surf of Lake Superior at night. Lots of great information shared by the hostess, in a folder, about places to see and things to do.

Grand Marais vacation

Peaceful

Very quiet, peaceful, and relaxing cabin. The walk to the water kinda sucked because of the sand and we're lazy but, so worth the walk! Collecting rocks by the shore was awesome!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Music Maker's Cottage! The local up on the point and just over the sand to Lake Superior was amazing. Also withing walking distance to town and other beaches. The property was clean and as described, cozy and welcoming, but with enough room for 4 of us to spread out and have our space. Having a washer and dryer onsite was a big plus during a weeklong vacation. The main bed and mattress was super comfy! This location is within a real short drive of several waterfalls and hiking trails in Pictured Rocks, and not a long drive from Paradise (Tahquamenon Falls), Munising (Pictured Rocks boat tours), and Manistique (Kitch-iti-kipi). No complaints, no problems, and we would stay here again! Thanks, Susan.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and would love to go back again.

Short walk into town. Lake Superior was just over the dune behind the cottage. Beautiful views.

Cozy Cottage!!

This rental was such a beautiful, cozy cottage on such a pretty beach! It was the perfect size for just the two of us and we loved the little wood burning furnace. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets! The town nearby is adorable and it was so peaceful and quiet here. We will definitely be back! Susan was wonderful! The check in and check out processes were very easy. She even helped us out of a sticky situation late at night on our last night there! I would highly recommend staying here and checking out the nearby national park!

October 2023 Stay

This was our second time we stayed at the cottage. Loved sitting outside by a fire in the evening. Walking along the shore of Lake Superior is always breathtaking. Liked that the hand held shower attachment is now available! Thought that the bed was a little hard for sleeping. There are trees growing against the cottage on the sides and also in the front in-between the pine trees. I would recommend taking these out for risks of structural damages to the foundation and in the front, the trees are around the power lines and could lead to power outages due to broken lines during storms.

Well stocked, comfortable, quaint cottage

Lovely 2-week a stay with everything we needed. Great location in Grand Marais, short walk to beach, close to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Loved it!

Beautiful location

This was a great location, although we couldn't see the lake we could definitely hear it. The sky at night was beautiful with the Perseus meteor shower and the Milky Way putting on a good show.

Comfortable and cozy cottage

Not sure about property next door - No one was there so it was very private for us. Enjoyed the oil paintings and relaxing decor. The best was the wonderful beach and the variety of rocks - even found an agate! Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your special place.

Music Makers Cottage

Very nice area of Grand Marias. They own a nice sized piece of footage along Lake Superior. The dunes in front of the home aren't to difficult to navigate. However, it is a short walk to the lake. Excellent workout for your legs though! There are many board games and movies for rain days. The rock hunting is fantastic! We found many agates and yooperlites along the shore. Also included with the property, was an in depth binder of the area's must do attractions and restaurants. Very helpful for Grand Marias newbies.

4th of July

We love Grand Marais and Lake Superior. This cottage gave us easy access to both. We were able to walk anywhere we needed to go but enjoyed taking our Jeep on rides in the area. On rainy days there were movies and games to enjoy. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Perfect cottage

We had a great stay! Perfect size for the 4 of us, cozy, lots of amenities and things for the kids to do, perfect little area and lots of privacy. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

UP Fall Splendor Trip

Perfect cottage for our short vacation enjoying the Upper Peninsula's beauty. It was clean, very comfortable, and well stocked. The owner quickly and thoroughly communicated all details by email and written notes at the cottage.
