Not your typical Studio unit! Fantastic upgrades through out the space. Nice upstairs corner unit. Studios at Sandpiper Cove are located close to the 1100 sq feet of deeded beach access. It is short walk over to your very own Beach Pavilion. There is a guard Gate for security, pools(5 total 2 heated), whirlpool tubs (3), tennis courts(6), marina, boat launch, canal dock, par 3 nine hole executive golf course, the Louisiana Lagniappe, one of the best in the area. on site restaurant. If you are looking for a small beach getaway this is it!

Just nasty

The unit was not clean to start with. It’s advertised as a 1 bedroom and that is a lie, it’s a studio apartment with seems like an xltwin pull our bed that was very uncomfortable. And on top of that roaches were in the refrigerator and crawling around on kitchen counter and because we ended our trip a day earlier. I’m unsure of the process to be on this site to list a property but someone should be able to check these out. If negative reviews are confirmed or a repeated accuracy then the property should be removed until issues have been resolved. That just let me know to use a more reliable site to book a property. Because Vrbo neither the property manager tried to fix the issues. I contacted them both

Falsely Advertised

Falsely advertised as a 1 bedroom, it’s a studio. Roaches, floor was dirty, birds nest and poop on back patio. Host was not friendly or personable, furniture old, dingy and extremely uncomfortable. The bedding was dingy and had a smell. I’m most upset the host was able to lie about the listing space as a 1 bedroom. I wouldn’t have chosen a studio. I would give zero stars.

1) Ice machines around the property were not working. 2) Trundle bed mattress was uncomfortable to sleep on and all furnishings need to be replaced (as they are stained and outdated) 3) The neighbors below us were loud. 4) Disappointed that our unit did not provide for towel services.

Quick Little Getaway

The size was perfect for our needs. We loved the proximity to the beach, restaurants and shopping! The condo was well stocked and clean. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great vacation!

We enjoyed our stay

If we ever go to Destin again, we will definitely stay at Sandpiper Cove! This studio was definitely well kept, great 2 minute walk to the beach, the pools are great! Myself, My husband, and two boys stayed here and we don’t have any complaints. Recommend 10/10

GREAT PLACE

The studio one bed was perfect for me and my wife. There was slight disappointment that we were not beach front as the website made it seem. However it was just a short walk and felt super safe.

The worst Condo!! Do not stay here!!

This was the worst stay. False advertisement. This is a Studio NOT a one bedroom like you all have listed. The room was disgusting hair everywhere, dust and rust all throughout the Condo, Fridge makes a very loud noise, broken furniture and again the furniture is nasty with stains on cushions, not enough sheets, blankets, or pillows, sofa bed you can literally feel the wires on the mattress. The only positive part of this stay was the location. Very disappointed and we will NOT be staying here again. Not worth the money we paid. We do not like being deceived. When we called to talk about the false information and clogged up tub the agents were extremely rude and not helpful.

Excellent for Two

Property was accurately described and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only issue was stained bedspread and shower drain didn't drain properly. It was very cute and tastefully decorated, despite the typical wear and tear of a rental property.

My review isn’t good

I was planing for at least 4 people Thinking I was getting a studio apartment but I walk into a open room, with a wall bed and a sofa bed, online it post over 21 pics but it was not what it looked like in person. This is truly false advertisement!

This is a nice studio apartment, don't count on the pull out sofa, totally worn out and loud with every move. Could've been cleaner but it was nice and convenient.

Unit needs some attention

Location is great. The unit seemed dirty. Dust and stained covers with holes. The dining chairs were broken. The shower doesn’t drain, which I know is a common problem with some units in sandpiper. The fridge made random whistle oh notices here and there, thankfully we had a sound machine and turned it up:/ the mattress is not very comfortable . all in all the Unit needs some attention. But love sandpiper and the location!

Exactly as pictured but needs some work.

I enjoyed staying here and you get exactly what is pictured. Cons: •NO WASHER AND DRYER as it states on the VRBO website. It apparently refers to the communal washer/ dryers. I eliminated several viable options that stated they didn’t have a washer and dryer within their unit when searching for a condo. Could be more specific as none of the other units say they have a washer and dryer within their included amenities unless it is actually within the unit . •Extremely dirty and poorly cleaned. Upon arrival, nail clippings, hair ties, bottle caps, and everything else imaginable under the mattress and at the head of the bead. There was still pans with food crusted all over them. Pro: •looks as exactly as pictured- very homey •quick and easy walk to the beach. •sandpiper cove never fails as it has an amazing community. •I would recommend this unit for anyone going alone or with a significant other. Needless to say, I will be returning to sandpiper cove as I do every year.

This unit definitely needs a washer and dryer ! It is an adorable studio. We love staying at Sandpiper Cove because it’s like a community . The beach was beautiful!!!

Smaller than expected!!!

This is our second year staying at Sandpiper Cove. Although I think our little family of four has out grown a studio condo we believe our last studio condo had more room. We could never use the patio because the chairs outside were so badly rusted that we thought someone would have to visit the hospital if they got cut. The pull out sofa was so uncomfortable I'm really surprised my 7 and 4 year old didn’t complain but I definitely could not lay with them. And the Murphy bed was as hard as a rock. The room needs better shades to block out the sun in the early morning. The kitchen utensils need to be upgrade. This should feel like a home away from home, but I felt like there were not many items to use. There were way too many plates, but hardly any utensils. It would be nice to have salt, pepper and coffee filters for the room. But above all the AC needs to be updated. There is a note that says not to lower more than 75. I get cold easily but 75 is not even comfortable enough to sleep at night. Overall the condo was very quiet. But that was about it.

Great place to stay!

We were pleasantly surprised to find this nice little studio. Location and beach access was perfect. Some of the furniture is mildly worn, but for the price, it’s cute, clean, convenient, and nicely decorated. We will stay here again.
