Quaint 2 Bedroom home is within walking distance to Museums, Historic Montana State Prison Ghost Tours, Mount Powell Tap House, Victory Lanes Bowling, Grant Kohrs Ranch, Grocery Shopping and Downtown. It is an easy drive to Philipsburg and Butte. This is also a great stopping point between Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park. Not to mention the numerous outdoor activities nearby. Cottonwood Creek runs next door and a park across the street with views of Pikes Peak West out the front door.


***New 2018-2019 - Remodeled bar, new ceiling fans, new kitchen appliances, remodeled laundry room with new washer/dryer, new queen mattress guest room and new windows in bedrooms******* New 2020*** Couch/Loveseat, King Mattress, 65" TV, Stove/Oven, New 2021 Roof, New 2024 Gas Heaters, Zone Heaters, Ceiling Fans and Coffee Bar!

Make yourselves feel at home, relax on the front deck and enjoy the view. Wireless internet transmits through the entire house and there are two Smart TV's with Netflix and Amazon Prime. We also have a window air conditioner if it gets too warm inside during the summer. A perfect place to relax after a day of skiing, golfing, fly fishing or hunting. There is a bar and a pool table to relax with as well! If your trip is a working trip, we have a desk, wifi, monitor, keyboard, mouse and a printer. Work remotely for awhile and enjoy Montana!

Guest access

The Guest will have access to the entire home during their stay. The guest will not have access to the garage during their stay. The owner is not onsite. There is a washer and dryer on site, all amenities in the kitchen for storing food and cooking meals.

Vacation

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in Deer Lodge at your VRBO. The owners responded promptly. The residence was well stocked and very clean. We are planning on returning to Deer Lodge again next year.

This place is stocked with everything you could need. Frisbee park accross the street was good place for dogs. BIG screen TV.. Pool table in rec room. Comfy bed.

This place has EVERYTHING!

Not only was the home adorable and very comfortable, but it had almost everything you would need or want. We really enjoyed our stay and had a total blast. If we ever come back through we will book again!

Stopover in Deer Lodge

We had a short stay in Deer Lodge and could not be more happy with Cotton Creek Getaway. It was a quaint cool house restored wonderfully and was extremely well stocked. The owner Bill helped us out with an issue we had with an immediate response which we appreciated. It was in a quiet part of town and had everything to entertain yourself with darts, pool table, puzzles, board games etc as well as books of the surrounding activities. We had a great time there and saw the sights and then headed back for some relaxation. We would definitely book again and we highly recommend this little gem to others. Thanks for making this available for us Bill

Adorable little house

This house was adorable, clean and well stocked. The beds were really comfortable and there was plenty of space to spread out. I honestly couldn't recommend any changes to it. It was perfect for three adults.

Wonderful place

Just a few blocks from the historic prison and downtown. It's a beautiful house with everything a person needs. Being our first Vrbo stay, and not knowing what we were doing, the host were very easy to communicate with. We couldn't ask for a better stay. There aren't enough good things to say about our stay.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Lots of updates made the house very comfortable. We enjoyed having the creek nearby and easy access to a small trail.

Cozy cabin

Very warm and cozy despite being below zero outside at times. We were there for hunting and they accommodated our two hunting dogs. We did take care of the property very well. The TV was good and the bed was good. The kitchen had good utensils and there was good ice machine. It was in a neighborhood that was out of the way and across the street from a little park.

Everything you could want

This is our second time staying here and it is our respite when we visit Deer Lodge. Plenty of room for privacy yet perfect to spend time together. Hosts are super-responsive.

We really enjoyed staying here. It was conveniently located! We had been traveling for 10 days and really enjoyed our "down time" to get a little rest and do laundy! The house has so much character! Bedding was wonderful! Kitchen well equipped! Having the pool table and darts was fun. I highly recommend this charming home! :-)

Perfect Home

This house was perfect for our family of 4. The game room was awesome the backyard was perfect. Waking up to deer in the front yard was serene. It had everything you need right down to coolers to take on road trips. We would highly recommend this place and would stay here again.

Exploring SW Montana

The hosts kept the house updated. Excellent decorating. Understanding the age of the house. Nestled in a quiet town and in the center of your main SW cities to visit. Convenient access to I 90. The house has a atmosphere of coziness and comfort. There were traveling information; books, pamphlets, to help guide you. The hosts left a favorite places to eat and see of their own. I would recommend the experience of staying at their home to anyone.

Welcoming home.

This was our first experience with renting through Vrbo and we were impressed. The home was charming, clean and well supplied with anything we could need. The neighborhood was in a nice location and was quiet. The creek running next to the house added to the peaceful setting. The pool table and dart board were bonus activities for my family to spend time together. It was easy to feel at home in such a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. We hope to stay again when we come to visit family.

Cozy Cottage

This house in Deer Lodge was perfect for exploring the area, including the museums and downtown. It was very walkable to downtown and had a nice little park across the street. The front porch was fantastic for sitting and taking in the views, especially the creek. The house is so clean and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here!

Comfort, convenience and community!

Just returned from a 3-week stay along Cottonwood Creek and our memories of our time enjoying this home and the Deer Lodge community will last a lifetime! Rarely do you find a vacation rental so nicely and completely furnished as this one. The home is fully furnished and decorated with everything we needed (and then some) to make us feel at home, and it's location allowed us to easily walk through old neighborhoods to restaurants, bars, bowling, tourist attractions, and grocery stores. The view from the front porch, privacy, seeing deer at the stream, and game room made it even more special. Thx Tracy and Bill for being such generous and responsive hosts!

We are Bill and Tracy Livingston, the Homeowners! Bill grew up in Montana and has owned this home for over 10 years. He grew up right there in Deer Lodge. In fact he went to high school right across the corner from this house! We live out of state but have family in town. We visit our home frequently throughout the year. Tracy works for a large Telecommunications company and Bill runs his own business of Home Repair/Remodeling, Home Inspection and Rental Properties. This property has all the comforts of home. The home is 105 years old, but we have taken time to keep the integrity of the house but update accordingly. Take a hot bubble bath in the original clawfoot tub. Sit on the front porch with your coffee while you watch sunsets over Pikes Peak West and listen to Cottonwood Creek run by. This home and Deer Lodge are centrally located in between Helena, Missoula, Phillipsburg and 2 hours from Livingston, MT.
