Located in the heart of Amish country, our guesthouse is a newly-renovated ranch house. Guests have the whole main floor to themselves. Our niece, Sheri, who is single, lives in the basement, which has a completely separate entrance on the lower level and at the other end of the house. She is also our cleaning lady, helps take care of the property, and is available should you need assistance with anything! We are located on State Rt 39, 5 minutes from Berlin with all its cool shops & dining, and 3 minutes from Walnut Creek which is known for Der Dutchman Restaurant, Rebecca's Bistro, Coblentz Chocolates, a cool antique store, and more! Bring your family and enjoy a home away from home! Relax in our spacious living room or sit around the fire on our patio out front!

Fabulous stay in the heart of Amish Country

Elsie is a fantastic host! Communication was excellent, the home is exactly as pictured and is well-appointed, and the location was centrally located to the various points of interest in Amish Country. We look forward to staying again the next time we're in that part of Ohio. Elsie, thank you for making this Thanksgiving extra special for our family!

Needed getaway

Would have rather been more in the country but ended up being fine! The house itself is beautiful and very clean! The only thing was the grout in the bathroom needed cleaning. Very well maintained and had about everything you needed except facial tissues. So those two things are very very minor! Not as much noise from the road as I thought. It was a very welcoming home! Thank you Elsie!

North meets South

Beautiful Home

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay — only wish it could have been longer. The house was quite spacious and beautifully decorated. I’m pretty fussy and loved that everything was so neat and clean. Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook with these folks.

Amish Country Gem

This is my second time staying here. The house is beautiful and comfortable with everything you could ever need. The location is perfect, close to Berlin and Walnut Creek.

We enjoyed our stay in the house. It was centrally located to everything. We stayed a week and would gladly stay again in this property. Everything was well taken care of and we enjoyed the set up of the house.

Great Location in Middle of Amish Country

Our family had a great couple of days in Amish country. The location of the house was great as it’s between Walnut Creek and Berlin. Very clean and well stocked with what you need for a few days. Would stay here again!

Great place. Will rent again. Kitchen pots and pans need replacing and updated. Nice location , road noise is not to bad. Wife loves it can’t wait to go back.

Modern Farmhouse Appeal

Had a great stay at this updated house. Cozy and appealing, with super easy check-in. Only drawback is the traffic (this property sits on the main road). Still, it’s close to everything you want to get to - very centrally located. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Tranquil Home

We had a wonderful women's retreat! Our stay at this home was wonderful. It was clean, beautiful and very affordable! This was our second time staying here and we were very please. Everything is clean, fresh and relaxing! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Sisters Trip

My 3 sisters and I loved this house! Plenty of room for all of us, beautifully decorated and furnished with anything you would need. The only drawback is the busy road the house sits on but despite that would definitely stay there again.

The perfect home away from home

This property provides the perfect home away from home experience. It has it all - it's very reasonably priced, super clean, has fantastic farm house decor, everything you could possibly need is provided, and it's conveniently located to all of the best attractions and shopping. Ms Elsie is super helpful and the check in and out process is a breeze. We would never think of staying anywhere else when visiting Amish country.

We are Mike & Elsie and we along with our 2 teenage daughters, Jenni & Allie used to live next door to the guesthouse & were the sole caretakers of the property! In 2021 we built a house & moved 20 minutes away! We needed a break from the hustle and bustle that is the heart of Amish country! Our niece, Sheri lives in the basement apartment and is now the caretaker of the place! She is as committed to providing the best for our guests as we have always been! She, along with us, Mike & Elsie, are just a phone call away, should you need anything!
