TINY HOME EXPERIENCE In WELLS BEACH MAINE

This cottage is tiny home living. We have created this cottage to give you the “new rage” experience of living in a tiny home. This cottage sits on the edge of the Rachel Carson wildlife preserve in Wells Maine and is steps away from the pristine beach of Wells Maine! You can enjoy sunrises over the ocean and sunset over the marsh. This cottage has a great screen porch with a large deck for outside enjoyment. Inside the cottage, you have a bathroom with shower, sink, vanity and toilet that you have privacy with a sliding barn door that when left open you can see the ocean and feel the ocean breeze. There is a cooktop, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, fridge and all your needs for cooking along with a BBQ on your deck. The sleeping is a queen murphy bed with a sofa for relaxing inside.

This unit is for 2 people only . Once again I need to stress that this is the tiny home experience (200sqft) so everything in this cottage has dual purposes…..Come and experience this amazing cottage.

Small house, big fun!

We were excited about having a “tiny house experience” and we’re not disappointed in our choice. This home was perfect for us and the location ideal. While it an intimate space, all the amenities are there and we had a 5-star stay!

Nice escape

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate his birthday and our anniversary. The cottage, although tiny, felt spacious. The marsh behind the house was peaceful and the beach is right across the street. You can’t beat this place!

Great place.

This is in an ideal location and is perfectly outfitted for a tiny place. You have to put suitcases and bags in your car because there is no space in the house and on days when it is cool and you can’t be on the porch it feels cramped. But it is beautifully equipped and efficiently laid out. Bob was very responsive to our telling him about a few things that weren’t quite working but they were minor and we loved being so close to both the ocean and the nature preserve.

Great Week in August

We had a great time staying at the Dream Catcher. Shelli was very nice, as well as the neighbors. The house had more than enough room for the two of us. The bathroom is completely updated and very clean. Our favorite feature was the screened in back porch with a view to the Wildlife Reserve. It was a great view, especially at night with the sunset. We only had to get in the car and travel twice, once to the grocery store (very close) and to another town. Otherwise everything is within walking distance -most importantly the beach and a very nice local restaurant "The Lobster Pot." We would gladly stay there again. Best -Beau & Amy O.

Amazing property

This “tiny” House May be tiny in square footage on the listing but it has plenty of space for two on the inside. Very clean, bed extremely comfortable, large shower, amazing screened in porch, very nice grill—what more can one say? If you like the beach and don’t need a big space, this is the place for you. We will certainly be back.

tiny house

it is tiny but the screened in porch and large deck give you lots of room. i would recommend any one renting to bring minimal clothing as you dont need much anyway! Hot plate, grill and microwave allowed me to eat at home. Hannafords is just off 1 on your way and lobster pound almost next door...... i needed some down time and this place was perfect..... the screened porch literally sits on the wilderness border and the beautiful wells beach is just across the street (which you are back from so not much traffic noise) and down private stairs.... its at the south end so not nearly as crowded as further down the beach but long for enjoyable beach walks...... i ended up asking for another day and have already booked it for some time in August

Perfect Peaceful Weekend Getaway

My girlfriend and I planned a last second trip to Maine and we were not disappointed. Shelli has a such a nice location in Wells. 5 minute walk to the beach. 5 minute walk to the lobster pound. Gorgeous sunsets and sunrises. The tiny house was clean and just the right size for us. We cooked at the house for most meals. Grill was great as well as counter top cook surface. Screened in porch on the back of the house was great at night to stay away from the bugs and still enjoy the peaceful setting of the nature reserve. Had a wonderful fire the last night (all supplies provided) We will be coming back for sure. Shelli was readily available via text and call to answer any questions.

Perfect beach get away for couples looking to relax!

My husband and I recently booked the tiny house for a last minute long weekend get away! We absolutely loved it! The location was ideal. We were across the street from the beach which meant we didn’t have to deal with driving and having to find and pay for parking. The back of the house is up against the beautiful Rachel Carson wildlife refuge which is home to a variety of birds. It’s also a perfect place to watch the sunset!!! The house itself is small but met all of our needs! We really didn’t need any more room. And with the screened in porch off the back and the open porch on the side, we had plenty of space! We brought most of our own food and cooked at the house. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need from dishware, to pots and pans, to lobster eating utensils! The propane grill was also awesome to have! We grilled our breakfasts, burgers, and corn! There is a lobster pound about a half a mile down the road that will cook and crack the lobsters for you so we did that one night while sitting on the porch watching the sunset! The bathroom was spacious and the shower was nicer than my own at home! I was also pleasantly surprised with how comfortable the bed was! The first few nights we slept with the screen door open and had a pleasant breeze and the last night was quite hot, so we put the AC on. It was so nice to have that option! All these things made this tiny house feel not so tiny!!! Not to mention, the owners Bob and Shelli were wonderful hosts!
