Nieuw gebouwde blokhut op slechts enkele meters van Lake Michigan en aan de rand van Manistee National Forest. Hut 'Little Bear' is genesteld in een volwassen dennenbos. Vanuit de cabine heeft u slechts een korte 250 voet lopen naar uw eigen prive-Lake Lakefront eigendom. Het is een enorme open tuin en picknickplaats aan Lake Michigan! Het biedt het hele jaar door een spectaculair uitzicht op het meer en alle seizoenen zijn prachtig.
Vanuit de hut met kleine beren kun je ook rechtstreeks naar het prachtige Manistee National Forest lopen. De paden beginnen een paar honderd meter van je veranda. Deze plek is perfect voor het hele jaar door vakantieplezier: wandelen, fietsen, vissen, zwemmen, sneeuwscooteren, langlaufen en het is een klein eindje rijden naar het Little River casino.
Twee slaapkamers met 5 bedden voor 5 personen. Uw verblijf is inclusief gratis internet en kabeltelevisie.

Short get away full of fun surprises

We had planned to find a place to just relax and read a book for a couple days, but were enticed to check out some local spots that ended up leading us to other sites we wanted to see. Our laid back mini vacation turned into a fun site seeing few days. October allowed us to see both the salmon/trout making their way upstream at the Little Manistee Weir and the fabulous color changes traveling up Lakeshore Road. Each roadside park we stopped at had a beautiful view. The cabin was spotless, cozy yet had a lot of space. Also, the water in the cabin tasted good. We are so used to hauling our bottled water to our vacation rentals due to odd tasting well water, this was a pleasant surprise. Beds were comfortable and it was so quiet and peaceful. Took our dog for walks down the road every morning and to local dog friendly beaches. All three of us had a surprisingly active and wonderful stay. Thank you for sharing the cabin with us!!

Amazing cabin in the woods

Kent and Pam have a wonderful cabin hidden in the woods. It is close to both Manistee and Luddington. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking and the firepit was perfect for fall evenings. We had a great time playing with our dog in the pine forest behind the house. The lakefront area across the street was wonderful. Amazing sunset views and access to the beach. Kent was very attentive to our needs while still ensuring our privacy.

Wonderful Cabin

This is one of the nicest cabins my husband and I have ever stayed in. It's clean, cozy, well stocked, and a short walk from absolutely stunning views of Lake Michigan. Even with the secluded setting, there was still plenty to do nearby. Beaches, dunes, trails, and grocery stores were easily accessible. We would love to stay here again!

A Quiet Get Away for a Couple and their Dog

Pam and Kent's cabin was a blessing, very secluded area amongst the forest with a very cool and private space to watch Lake Michigan, unfortunately it was a bit too cold when we went but it was AMAZING watching the sunset.

Great getaway with lots to do

Cozy, modern cabin off the beaten path a few steps from a secluded Lake Michigan shoreline. Spend days exploring the many nearby towns and attractions. Or spend days rejuvenating around the well appointed cabin, forest, beach and backroads. Great hosts, and great times.

Beautiful Place!

This place was exactly what we were looking for. Very beautiful cabin surrounded by forest and nature. The sunsets were incredible over Lake Michigan! Hosts provided all the information and amenities to make our stay very enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Cabin in the woods near the lake

My family members and I really enjoyed our stay at LIttle Bear. It is so generous to allow a well behaved dog to go on vacation with their owners. The property is very well equipped and maintained and the owners are very welcoming and responsive to any needs that come up.We all had a great time!

Cozy Cabin Getaway

This property was easy to find while still being isolated. This cozy cabin offered all of the necessary amenities for a sleepy weekend of disconnection and time in nature. Kent and Pam were very welcoming! We were greeted by a generous welcome basket, all of the necessary instructions, and even a bottle of wine was offered to us! The lakefront was a short walk away and was breathtaking!

Little Bear is situated in a pine forest - very provided and secluded. It is also located across the road from Big Bear lake house (which we also own) - just a few hundred yards away. Renters of Little Bear are provided access to the dune and yard at Big Bear overlooking Lake Michigan. Watch the beautiful sunsets over Lake Michigan or just hang out and enjoy the yard and dune.
