Graduation Stay

Lovely home in the perfect location. An easy 5 minute drive to Mizzou with plenty of space, comfy beds, and easy check-in process. Would be happy to stay here again in the future!

Great find in Columbia!

This is a beautiful property. Great location, easy to get around, cheap fast Uber anywhere or minutes to drive. We were just there one night for a concert but easy for meals and stay. Friendly owners, easy check in & out. Will stay again!

Perfect CoMo Stay for a Weekend Getaway!

My group and I rented this property for Mizzou’s Homecoming weekend and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay! The location to downtown Columbia is excellent - less than 5 minutes away, and the drive to Faurot isn’t much further. The space itself is lovely and roomy as well, love the open layout of the main floor which made it a perfect space to relax after the game. Heather and Adam, the hosts, happened to be around upon our arrival and were super welcoming and friendly too! Great communication with them made this a pleasant stay. Will definitely bookmark this property again for a future weekend getaway!

Wonderful!

We absolutely loved this home! The owners greeted us outside and talked with us for awhile! So friendly! The apartment itself was not just adorable, but completely stocked full of things that you normally worry about bringing with you(paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, toilet paper, spices). We loved this property and will hopefully return many times during our Mizzou parent tenure;)

Historic house near downtown Columbia

Thanks Adam and Heather for a great stay. We came into town to visit family for about a week, and this updated 3rd floor unit gave us a great home base. The overall property and historic house has lots of character and made for a relaxing and fun trip.

Perfect for us - Mizzou Graduation Spring 2023

This VRBO was absolutely perfect for our family. We were in COMO for our sons graduation from Mizzou and this home was perfect. Beautifully appointed home away from home. Close enough to Uber into town and skip the craziness of grad weekend. Two thumbs up from our family.

Great location!!

Perfect location, minutes from Mizzou, the stadium and downtown. The street was gorgeous and the home was located close to everything we needed, yet still tucked away from the main road and nice and quiet. Communication prior to my arrival was excellent! 10/10 recommend! :)

Perfect mini house for our Mizzou stay

This third floor townhouse was a perfect fit for our family while we stayed to visit our son for Easter at Mizzou. everyone had their own place to sleep. We all fit comfortably in the family room for tv and were able to heat up all the casseroles I brought for Easter!

Great Apartment, Perfect Location

This apartment is exactly as the pictures shown. It's super cute and roomy, lots of natural light, comfy beds & furniture. We are a family with 2 teens so it was great to allow the teens their own space - 1 in one of the 2 bedrooms and 1 in the loft. Minutes from Mizzou campus. Easy parking. Private entrance. The apartment is above the homeowners, but it was very quiet. Owners are very responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend and will definitely return!

Convenient, Quiet Location with Plenty of Space

The location is conveniently just down the road from downtown Columbia and has multiple parking spaces in the driveway for guests. The home was clean and quiet, with plenty of room to relax. The shower was a bit tight for taller guests but overall we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

Wonderful Romantic Getaway

My wife and I spent a wonderful two days here, with all of the comforts of home and the privacy we were looking for. A lovely place that worked well as a couple's retreat, but would also have accommodated the rest of our family. Great place to stay!

Great Stay!

Moved to Columbia for a new job and stayed for almost a month before my apartment was available. The property is beautiful and they have thought of everything for a great stay. Lots of room to spread out, well equipped and great location. The owners are very friendly and welcoming!!! Would highly recommend for your next trip to Columbia.

Wonderful Mizzou Graduation Weekend

We were in town for several nights to celebrate our sons graduation from Mizzou. We have stayed at several hotels and VRBOs near campus over the last 4 years and this one was the best. Its only 5 minute drive from Campus, within walking distance of a grocery store and is a few miles away from scenic hiking. The unit looked exactly as shown in the pictures, stylish charming, comfortable and clean. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful! They communicated with us frequently before the trip and offered many suggestions regarding restaurants and things to do while in town. We wish we had found this place 4 years ago when our son first started at Mizzou. We would never have stayed any where else. A true gem! Thanks!!!

Beautiful historic home

We were thrilled with the hospitality from Heather and Adam! There was a bottle of red wine and some dark chocolate waiting for us when we arrived. The apartment is unique, comfortable and well maintained. Located close to restaurants and the university, especially for a football game, etc. Used Uber for all of our outings but adventurous people could walked to the university. Would recommend updating the shower because it was extremely difficult for tall people to use and is a very tight squeeze size wise. Overall, would highly recommend for a visit to Columbia with it's prime location and historic feel it's a gem.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We fell in love with this historic property and knew we wanted to purchase it and make it our home. In a previous life, the house was known as the Taylor House Bed & Breakfast, popular among locals and visitors alike and used for events such as weddings, business meetings and reunions. After purchasing the home, we converted the main house back into a single family home, and maintain two separate apartments on the property. The historic charm is undeniable, and the close proximity to downtown Columbia, the University of Missouri and the MKT Trail is an added bonus!
