Our white Christmas in Banff

This property was just what we expected. It suited our family of 6 perfectly. The location was good with the free shuttle bus into Banff it was easy to get into town. The facilities were good and check in was smooth. My one concern was the lack of housekeeping. They didn't show up on several occasions and didn't perform the clean we expected after day 3 as per the information given to us at check in. Other than this I would definitely recommend this property.

Older than the pictures suggest

We were a disappointed with the overall conditions. There was a strong cleaning smell when we arrived and had to open all the windows to air out. The appliances are cheap - the microwave didn't open easily, and the toaster had wires sticking out. The dryer lint screen had a large hole in it. There was mold in the showers and water dripped from the upstairs toilet. They don't provide paper towels or napkins (or any other kitchen item besides salt and pepper) so bring your own.

Needs improvement

Very dated, old and smelled. Its carpeted and probably needs a deep clean. Its just far enough from town that it was inconvenient if you do not have a car. The shuttles do not run frequently enough. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The online pictures did not match the actual. The place smelled, it's old and not very clean. Rooms were not well lit.

Great trip

Perfect location just far enough out of town to get away from the crowds but close to everything you want to do. Parking can be hard to find at night but it all worked out. Place was great and clean but smelled like smoke inside. Maybe the person before us used the wood burning fireplace. Overall a great place to stay.

Need work

The host was responsive, the property was well maintained. Inside of the condo was a different story. It was a very dated condo. The rug was coming apart at places. It was not cleaned properly as the condo was just old.The kitchen and furniture was outdated. The dryer didn't work and had to call maintenance several times. Maintenance was responsive. Overall not happy with the property, didn't come as advertised.

Relaxed stay at Banff with kids

Overall we had a great stay here at hidden resort in Banff. It was a 3-storey house, with 2 bedrooms on entry level and a bathroom. That was a little unexpected as we had 2 families, and we had to share bathrooms. 2nd bathroom was on the main level along side kitchen and living area. The bonus was the loft area with 2 queen beds, in which kids had the most fun. Overall was a very relaxed stay!!

Banff stay

Although the location was very convenient for visiting areas in/around Banff, the 2 bdr + loft condo was a bit cozy for 6 adults even though it was advertised for up to 10 guests. The condo was a bit outdated but sufficient for our short 2 night stay. The complimentary Roam Transit bus passes certainly came in handy as it was extremely difficult to find parking in Banff.

Great stay close to Banff

I stayed with my family (2 parents and 3 adult children) for 5 nights and we had a great stay. Nice and close to Banff town, easy parking and check in. The pools were very nice. The stay was perfect for our family if 5 but I think more than 6 would be too cramped, plus there were only seating and place settings for 6. Our only mild complaints were lack of living room seating and the drier in the unit didn't work very well with too many items inside. Othwerwise, we had a great stay!

Conference Stay

Upon entry into the unit, we were disappointed by the misrepresentation of the unit. It appeared bright and airy, clean and well put together. Our disappointment was with the uncleanliness of the unit. The bathrooms were filthy with hair and scum residue everywhere. The walls were filthy and marked up. Overall, this is not for professionals but weekend parties.

Spring Break Skiing Trip

We stayed for a week over spring break to ski Big 3. Front desk was great on check in, and super responsive. Offered to help get discounted lift tickets (which we didn't need b/c we have season passes). We asked for early check in and they were able to accommodate quickly, which we *greatly* appreciated. We also got free bus passes from the resort for the week, which made getting down to town extremely easy and convenient (but stops right at the resort and comes every 20 min or so). The unit was spacious enough for my family to spread out and have their own spaces, and we made great use of the in-unit washer/dryer all week. The decor was a bit dated/hotel feeling, and the unit we were in had some peeling paint/wall paper in a few places that maybe looked like old water damage. But overall it was a good stay and a fabulous trip, thank you!

Wonderful vacation in Banff

We really enjoyed our stay! Very convenient to the town of Banff, and very comfortable apartment. Only recommendation would to have more kitchen accessories. Bowls, blender etc. other than that really nice place!

Good value stay for groups with amenities

As others have said, this property is a bit dated. Feels like it’s from the 1990’s. But it’ll get the job done for a quick ski trip in Banff. Parking is easy. The hot tub is really large so overcrowding was never an issue and the sauna was really nice. I would stay here again. We didn’t attempt to cook at all because the kitchen is so small.

Ski trip

The condo worked out great for our family of 5. The shuttle into Banff was really close and convenient. Wood fireplace and hot tubs where awesome after a day in the slopes.
