About this property

Spectacular Innsbrook House on Alpine Lake

Our spacious, 3,500 square foot house is located on the largest and most scenic lake in the heart of Innsbrook. Alpine Lake is a 240-acre lake and Innsbrook is a serene lake community on 7,500 wooded acres that is a short 50-mile drive from St. Louis.

Our property is completely surrounded by the tranquil woods of Innsbrook, with barely a view of any neighbors. The house is on two levels. After parking in the roomy, three-car garage, you enter via the upper level. You are in the wide open Great Room with stunning views of the lake, an open kitchen with an island for cooking and a gas powered fire place. An exit to the left will put you on a huge wood deck with BBQ pit, patio furniture and nice sunset views.

On the other side of the Great Room are the two upstairs bedrooms. The master bedroom has an open view of the lake, while the second bedroom faces the front path, wood bridge, stream and woods. Past the two bedrooms is the master bath with lake view. In addition to a large walk-in shower, there is an over-sized tub, which is perfect for relaxing. The walk in closet is the size of a small bedroom.

When you head downstairs, you walk right into the wide open room containing a big screen TV, several DVDs and a full-sized billiards table. Both bedrooms downstairs have direct views of the lake. The second full bath is in-between them and contains an over-sized shower. Outside the downstairs entrance is a small patio that also offers great views of the lake. This deck takes you to a rock pathway leading down to the wood dock. This area is also fantastic for sunsets with the pink hue reflecting right off of the lake. You can fish off of the dock or take our full-sized canoe out on the lake to hunt for additional fishing spots. For your water sport amusement, we also provide kayaks, paddle boards, rafts/floaties and noodles.

Innsbrook offers a championship, 18-hole golf course, huge swimming pool with a view of Lake Aspen, tennis courts, horse stables, various hiking trails, over 100 lakes (some with beaches), conference center, and several events throughout the year.

Exceeded expectations

Fantastic home! On the water, plenty of space, comfortable beds, use of the 3 car garage, basement is a perfect spot for the kids to hangout are a few reasons we will be staying here again.The outdoor amenities were an added bonus! Paddle boards, kayak, fishing poles etc. We have stayed at Innsbrook a few times and this property had way more to offer then the others.Communications were great! Very responsive to any questions we had.

This property was perfect for our celebration. Andy was so thoughtful and responded quickly while also making sure we were all doung well. The beds were so comfortable and the toilet paper was well stocked. It was also nice having a clean coffee maker. We will be back!

A very nice roomy, quiet, and clean house. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms were large, and the common living areas were well lit and large. Ample streaming TV options as well with great internet speed. Owner was accommodating and available but yet let us be. Just a perfect place.

Innsbrook

If you think the online pictures of the property are beautiful, which you get actually what you see, just wait until you drive through the beautiful tree lined roads in this gated community. So beautiful, but drive careful as you are sure to see many deer. Mama’s with their babies. So cute. Alpine lake is Beautiful too. This is a wonderful quiet getaway in to nature. Many walks were takin by our group. We never needed to leave the area as it had all the necessities we needed near by. We only left to go to our Catholic Mass and it was only a 15 minute drive away. Andy’s home is stocked so plentiful, more than any home we have ever stayed in before.

Wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The owner was helpful and responsive! We had 5 kids under 5 but if you had kids a bit older they have ALL the fun lake toys! A very short drive to the pool and restaurant/golf course! Would def stay here again!

Great lakeside retreat

Had a great time here with family. Great views of the lake with direct water access, and super well stocked for water activities - kids loved paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking in addition to swimming. Had a few rainy mornings and there are a ton of fun board games too. Kitchen well stocked and the layout is great for larger groups. Our favorite house in Innsbrook by far and we will be back!!!

Magnificent hideaway for family

What a wonderful way to bring family together in a remote setting! The amenities in the house are second to none. Plenty of things for the lake to play with, canoe, SUP, or floats. Conveniently located close to pool and the creamery for ice cream and a coffee. The host was in constant contact checking in. Will be back next year!

Amazing time

Our entire family was grateful to have found such a wonderful home to spend time together in. The home was beautiful and spacious. Our family had a wonderful time in the lake with the canoe and paddle boards. We did some fishing and the view from the house was amazing. Fantastic Family reunion

Amazing home on Innsbrook’s most beautiful lake! It was the perfect venue to host our family of ten for a week! This spacious home literally comes with everything you need to keep everyone entertained. From the lake toys to the kitchen tools/service for 12 and the 3 car garage to protect your cars from storms they have carefully included every amenity you could think of. The sunsets are spectacular and the lake is clean and clear! Another factor you may not know about is the road is paved all the way to this house allowing you to forgo a rocky/dusty experience. Communication was quick and easy and Andy was super accommodating! We look forward to staying here again for our annual family vacation!

excellent vacation

We had everything we needed for our family vacation. We needed privacy for our family and most listings have bunk rooms. Here you will have 4 Queens, 1 King and a Futon. There were plenty of water toys and I highly recommend a sunset kayak. We had Gateway Golf Cars LTD deliver a 6 seater golf cart and also rented a pontoon boat. I would like to stay here every summer, it was that great!

this is a wonderful property on the lake. There were hiking trails near the dam, which is walkable from the house. We had plenty of room with the upstairs .The beds were comfortable and everything was in good working order and clean.

Lovely Birthday weekend on the water

This large lovely property was a great getaway for my birthday. Andy was quick to respond with flexible hospitality. Access into the home was very easy, and once inside the layout is perfect for large groups. Andy made his home welcoming for our olde dog, also. We loved working in the large well-planned kitchen with views of the lake. Beautiful sunlight beams thru the large windows & bounces off the hardwood floor. Dramatic! After a fun day kayaking and canoeing, we hung out on the deck with our beer & prosecco for sunset. If we had more time, we would have gone swimming and played a game - there are many activities to choose from right inside the house. It was so nice to have quiet days and dark quiet nights; we appreciate Innsbrook's policies to keep the peaceful setting. We will remember this home for our next - hopefully LONGER - getaway.

Family week

The property was amazing, everything that you needed for a few days get away.. Beautiful lake, only a few yards from the house. We took the canoe out a couple of days. The canoe was easy to paddle around on the quite and smooth surface lake. We saw so much wildlife just walking around the property. A very relaxing place to spend time with our family. We will return to unwind again..

We are a father son that fell in love with Innsbrook, then Alpine Lake, then Timbercee II. Living in the hustle and bustle of St. Louis, we appreciate the short drive to the secluded and serene resort of Innsbrook. It provides us with the best of both worlds.

Since we can't always get away, we decided to share our property with others back in 2006. Besides Innsbrook condo rentals, we were the only rental property at Innsbrook. It's been a win-win throughout the years. With hundreds of memories from families to couples to guys/girls weekends, we love the wonderful feedback and stories we read in our guest books.

Why they chose this property

Timbercee II is a gorgeous modern house that was built in 2005. It is very spacious with all of the amenities and has great views of the scenic Lake Alpine. Unlike Lake Aspen by the conference center, Lake Alpine is very peaceful and gets little traffic. It is also the #1 fishing lake.

What makes this property unique

BBQing on the deck, reading a book on the back patio, views of the lake from the Great Room, feeding the fish bread from the dock, taking out the canoe to find additional fishing spots, racing around the lake in the kayak, a relaxing soak for two in the oversized tub, a game of billiards after a few beverages, swimming and floating in the clear lake during the summer, and much more!
