This second floor condo has a full size kitchen, private deck off master BR, ceiling fans (no AC), TV/cable, and washer/dryer. Entry is by keyless entry key pad on the door. Great location to stay for ASU functions or you could explore some of the many activities that Boone and the surrounding area has to offer such as snow tubing, skiing, zip lining, golfing, fishing and hiking. Or you could enjoy spending time around town shopping and dining at the many restaurants.

Feels like home

Great location and beautifully decorated and fully stocked with essential items. Close to everything you need. Great local restaurants close by. The stairs are steep and somewhat slippery when wet. One is a real high step and quite dangerous but take your time. Kids living overhead are noisy.

It was my wife, daughter and myself. The property was very clean. There were plenty of towels and washcloths wich was great because other places we stayed they were at a minimum. The only thing we couldn’t find was a spatula.

The condo was well stocked and clean. Loved the little heaters in the bathrooms during such cold weather. They even had salt for the stairs and a snow shovel. The parking lot and the steep drive getting in and out of the condo was well maintained. The location worked well for us.

Stayed during the Christmas holiday, the condo was very quaint and cosey, decorated nicely for the Christmas holiday, fully stocked with dishes and appliances. Two nice size bedrooms and a back porch walk out. Two bathrooms and a cute dining room area. I was able to cook a nice Christmas meal, enjoy plenty of games and it was quite comfortable for the family. So much nicer than a hotel.

The Pros and cons

Pros – great location, well stocked with everything we needed, the owner was communicative with us. There was a small welcome gift waiting for us which was very sweet! Cons – Reeked of cigarette smoke ( people still smoke indoors? ) I’m allergic, so it was rough. Hence the 3 stars for accuracy which said no smoking allowed. it would’ve been nice to be able to unpack, but the dresser in one room was full of sheets and towels, with only one drawer available.

NC High Country Visit

Lovely condo, warm and inviting decor and very comfortable. The location was ideal to enjoy all the area has to offer. Enjoyed exploring the surrounding mountain towns with the restaurants, interesting shops and activities offered along with scenic views everywhere. We loved staying here! Boone is absolutely beautiful and this location was so great. The condo was a little stuffy with clutter and decor things everywhere. The closets were jam packed with stuff. The place could definitely use a deep clean and a major declutter, The host was kind and responsive. We would stay again!

This unit is close to the action in Boone, but still feels like home. Everything you need is for a comfortable stay is available. We definitely take advantage of the Appalcart stop at the bottom of the hill on gameday.

Close to town and the place has everything you need

It’s a beautiful and cozy place and my family and I had everything we needed. It’s a nice and quiet neighborhood and close to the school. Ms. Kim was a wonderful host and responded to all my messages and requests in a timely manner. Having a tray full of snacks and treats was a nice touch.

Helping son move for last year at App State

We have stayed here several times. It’s perfect in location! Has everything we needed, except air conditioning, lol. Plenty of fans and nice evening breeze with windows up made it perfect. I would stay here every trip to Boone!

We purchased this property in 1986 when one of our children was attending ASU. The property was rented long term since that time until recently we decided to update the condo and use it for our personal mountain get-a-way. We enjoy traveling to Boone from time to time to attend sporting events on campus and when attending events in Bristol and the surrounding Tri-Cities area.

What makes this property unique

The benefit to this property is that it is close enough to Boone yet secluded enough to provide a much needed place to get-a-away from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives.
