Permanent Vacation is a charming cabin in the woods with plenty of privacy on an acre lot - a favorite amongst couples and honeymooners!

Permanent Vacation is a beautiful all-wood interior cabin situated just a quick 8-mile drive from the Island in Pigeon Forge. This home is perfect for honeymoons, anniversaries, and small family vacations.
The main floor has an electric fireplace, a pull-out sofa, and a half bath.

On the second level, the spacious master suite is complete with soaring cathedral ceilings, a full bath, a king-size bed, and a daybed for kids that need to be nearby.

The outdoor space is very serene and peaceful, the perfect place to kick back on our gliding rockers or relax in the covered hot tub

This cabin was perfect for me, for my time alone in the peacefulness of the woods and alone time with God. The cabin was clean, neat and organized. I loved sitting in the rocker with the fireplace on and just look out the window at the view. So

Perfect romantic getaway.
Very relaxing, total welcoming feeling. We loved the 2 outside rockers and the view from them. The hot tub was a definite bonus. We would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay there again.

Celebrated husbands 60th and our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Peaceful stay. Chipmunks. Squirrels. Raccoons. No bears but maybe next time. Hot tub was amazing after a long day walking.

Our stay was everything we needed. Quiet and out of the way, but still close to the National Park and both cities. The driveway is steep but definitely manageable with a good vehicle. Would love to stay again!

Perfect!
We had such a wonderful time at Permanent Vacation. Everything was great from the first moment we pulled in to when we had to leave. Just a great experience. The cabin was clean, and cozy, the hosts were super responsive to my questions, and the area was peaceful and quiet. The hot tub was the icing on the cake! We will be back!

Cabin was clean! Very centrally located to all things to do in the Smokey Mountains. The driveway was not as steep as others. Cute little cabin for our 5 day stay. Unfortunately we were so busy we didn’t spend much time in the cabin, but enjoyed the time we did.

We had a great experience staying at Permanent Vacation! It is an adorable, cozy cabin sitting high on a mountain hillside! We were close to all the action in Pigeon Forge but far enough away that we felt secluded! The hosts were kind and accommodating! We would definitely stay here again.

Away From Home
The property was wonderful inside was very clean and well equipped with what ever you need in the Kitchen. Half bath downstairs was great to have. Furniture was up to date and clean. The only problem I have was turning my 8 sitter SUV in the driveway. Coming from Florida it was a little scarry and my husband had to direct me. Close enough from town to enjoy as far as Gatlinburg. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and grocery store near by. The cabin has a jacuzzi outside with lights for the night time.
