Great location within walking distance from all kinds of cool restaurants and bars. We mostly came for the Grand Canyon but the great location pulled us in to the community. Highly recommended!
The location was great, we enjoyed walking right into downtown. The apartment was exactly what we needed space-wise: big bedrooms, nice bathroom, cozy kitchen/livingroom. That being said, when we were in the apartment, the tenants on the other half of the house and what I have to assume are their 15 children are horribly loud. Quiet hours for us were 9pm-8am, but no sooner than 6:30am did the screaming, stomping and jumping start from the child(ren) upstairs. It doesn’t stop until bedtime. We had no opportunity to rest/relax or sleep in, which would have been preferable on our vacation. Other than that, it would have been a five star stay.

Nice but small
Much smaller than described in the listing. Access to place is through laundry area. Other people were doing laundry at 10pm keeping us up. You don’t feel very secure that’s for sure.
Great location to explore Flagstaff whilst not being so far from the Grand Canyon. Characterful home with great decor and attention to detail making it feel very welcoming. Would recommend!
The unit was clean, extremely well stocked and in a great location!! Highly recommend, however, internet is not strong so working with video calls might be an issue; we used our phone hot spots, so that was an easy work-around.
Also, owner is quick to respond, and we would definitely rent again!!
This place was close enough to downtown in a great neighborhood. Very cute and clean. I would stay here again!

Walking Distance to downtown was great, 4 blocks. The property is connected to another apartment and you could hear the other occupants when you were in the kitchen area, but other than this, it’s a very quiet property and very comfortable. It was also nice having parking on the property.
Everything went as planned. Very neat and clean. Perfectly acceptable as a place to stay for a couple of days. We were there for a wedding and didn't get to stay longer. Would rent again.
The place was okay; the living room had issues; too small and the furniture was uncomfortable! Other than that, everything else was fine! The location was perfect. Regardless of the living room, we enjoyed the trip!
Watched the weather hoping for a dry Spring Break and Mother Nature changed it on us. We were able to visit the sites; however, we couldn't ride the dirt bikes we hauled up. The snow was a beautiful change for us, and we enjoyed the weather too!
We were two couples, arriving at different times from different directions in different cars.
1) None of us slept well. The heating system only works properly when both bedroom doors are propped fully opened. When we closed the doors at night, the bedrooms became saunas and the common room in the middle turned into a freezer.
2) There is a severe shortage of electrical outlets.
3) Parking is apparently available off-street for only one car with this unit, but we only found that out when the host complained to us about using two (of three) parking spaces. As the City of Flagstaff was not allowing on-street parking during our stay, this put us in something of a dilemma about the second car.
4) Host is MILITANT about enforcing the 11am checkout time. He was letting himself into the unit at the stroke of 11am on our checkout morning to verify that we were leaving. Also, their policies in the listing don''t mention this, but there is a sign on the fridge warning guests of a $25/hr late checkout charge for departures after 11:15 am. I guess the host's arrival that morning was to enforce that fee if we weren't out (we were).
Bathroom is extremely small. If you are anything but skinny, it's a challenge to get into shower. Vanity is so small, nowhere to put your stuff, would be enough for one person, mostly a guy, but we had two women. Always had to take towels out of bathroom and drape over chairs since there was no place to hang the wet ones. Maybe needs some shelving over toilet, since that is the only available space.
Open space for dishes and utensils made me wipe off everything we used. And first time we took down plates, got hit in the face with water left on them. Coffee pot hadn't been washed prior to us, still had coffee grounds in the machine.
Bedrooms: small bedroom has king size bed - this I do not understand. Barely enough room to walk around it without stubbing your feet. Bed sits on a slant, and hardly enough room to put your suitcases. If you like to charge your phone at night and have next to bed, won't happen. Only 1 side had an outlet and that same side also had the other outlet.
Maybe the queen and the king beds should switch location.
If you want to sleep in until 8, that won't happen either. Whoever rents on the other side has a very small child that wakes up before 6 a.m. and runs up and down floors and squeals. Not much done to block out noise from neighbors.
Info on this rental says there is washer and dryer and a stove. Dryer and stove were not working for our visit but didn't find out until week before we left.
Not a location we would visit again.
The place was perfect for a weekend visiting our daughter! The location was ideal, just a short walk to the downtown area. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. Will definitely stay there again.
Great location. Just enough room for our family of 4. Loved sitting outside on quiet street and reading or playing games w/kids.

A disappointment for the high price
The online photo is very different (better) than the reality: different furniture entirely. Tiny hard couch instead of comfy, for example, with a table right in front of it. The only real place to sit was on the beds. The ad also sounded like the homeowners lived in the big part of the house, which was not the case. Early in the morning, we were woken up by the guests in the front part of the house talking on chairs placed immediately outside our bedroom. There was ice cold air coming in from ceiling vents, although we did not have any ac on. The entrance is through the laundry room! Where the housecleaner washed sheets while we were there. None of the windows opened, so we had no access to fresh air, since the front door opened right onto the laundry. The shelf above the sink is very dusty. The wifi was very slow, making it difficult to stream movies. I would not recommend this place, especially for the high price they charge.
My family and I were looking for a quick getaway in the mountains close to downtown Flagstaff and this was perfect. Instructions were detailed and easy to follow for gaining access to the property. Space was tight for 5 of us but cozy. We had everything we needed from linens to towels, games, and kitchen items. The location was perfect-walking distance to numerous restaurants, shops, cafes, pubs, etc. my only suggestion for improvement would be the beds. The 2 large beds were sufficient but the pullout bed was a little rough for my son but he’s young and could take it lol-probably best to avoid if you’re an adult.
We went up and stayed the weekend in this small but cute and functional unit off the main house. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. We went skiing/snowboarding and came back to a warm comfortable place. The only complaint was that we could hear the occupants in the big part of the building late at night. Overall it was easy and a great trip!!
