The Residence Roca Mare is 20 meters from the sea and has a private swimming pool and panoramic terrace, just across the street and you are on the beach.
Very bright living room and well equipped kitchen, separate bedroom. Comfortable terrace. Sleeps 4 (double bed + sofa bed). Dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, flat screen satellite TV,

Emplacement idéal

Appartement très propre, conforme à la description, tout équipé et bien agencé. Le gros plus, sa situation. En effet, situé face à la plage, le supermarché, et à 5 mns (à pieds) de la vieille ville et de la gare de Garavan. Egalement, la place de parking dans garage sécurisé. Enfin, l'accueil et le départ se font dans de très bonne conditions. Un grand merci à Giovanna et Massimo (le prosecco était excellent) et à bientôt

Wohnung in top Lage

Wir haben uns ziemlich spät entschlossen in der wunderschönen Stadt Menton Urlaub zu machen und es hat sich gelohnt. Es gibt eine sehr schöne Altstadt, die man von der Wohnung sehr gut zu Fuß erreichen kann. Auch ein Supermarkt (Super-U) liegt ganz in der Nähe, ca. 150m. Wir haben auf dem Weg vom Strand nach Hause immer gleich unsere Einkäufe gemacht. Der Sandstrand ist sehr flach und das Wasser sehr sauber. Die Gastgeber haben wir nicht persönlich angetroffen, aber das war auch kein Problem. Bei der Ankunft hat uns eine sehr nette Dame, Camilla, herzlich empfangen, die Schlüssel übergeben und uns alles erklärt. Wer mit dem Auto anreist, braucht eine Garage, denn Parkplätze sind rar. Die Wohnung liegt im vierten Stock und es gibt einen Fahrstuhl, auch bis in die Tiefgarage. Von der Wohnung aus hat man eine schöne Aussicht auf die Berge. Die Wohnung ist klein, aber für uns zwei ausreichend gewesen. Preis-Leistung stimmt. Den Pool auf dem Dach haben wir nicht genutzt. In der Wohnung gibt es zwei Deckenventilatoren, die für kühle Luft sorgen, Klimaanlage gibt es keine. Im Schlafzimmer sind die Matratzen für uns ein bisschen zu hart gewesen. Bei Ankunft war im Kühlschrank eine Falsche Schaumwein für uns bereitgestellt. Die Gastgeber waren immer in Kontakt mit uns und sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die ganze Anlage macht einen gepflegten Eindruck und es ist auch sehr ruhig.

Difficile de trouver mieux!

Rien à redire sur notre séjour passé chez Giovanna. Propriétaire adorable, et aux petits soins avec nous. L'appartement est très bien équipé et propre. Avec des enfants en bas âge, la piscine et le parking sont un luxe. On peut tout faire à pied depuis l'appartement; balades, courses, plages, restaurant... Je reviendrai sans hésiter.

Von einer großen Enttäuschung, zu einem schönen Urlaub

Wir haben lange nach einer Unterkunft in Menton gesucht. Endlich fanden wir eins, wo das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis gut schien. Ein Privater Pool. Direkt am Strand. Wir wurden stutzig, als wir NACH der Buchung eine Beschreibung per PDF bekommen haben, wo drin stand, wie wir alles finden und einrichten können. Unter anderem stand da, dass wir, um zum Pool zu gelangen, in einen anderen Block gehen müssten!! Aus den Fotos und der Beschreibung kam in keinster Weise heraus, dass wir 4 Etagen mit dem Lift herunterfahren und zum nächsten Block 6 Etagen hoch bis zum Dach fahren + einigen Treppen hochgehen müssten. (ACHTUNG, Pool befindet sich NICHT an der Wohnung) Wir dachten, es wäre direkt vom Zimmer begehbar. Umso größer war die Enttäuschung, dass es nicht allein für uns (Privat) war, sondern auch andere aus den Block dort schwimmen konnten. Zwei Tage später kamen die Eigentümer vorbei und brachten einen WLAN Router. Der in der Anzeige angegeben, aber nicht vorhanden war. Sie waren sehr nett und freundlich. Brachten sogar eine Flasche Wein mit. Auf den Pool angesprochen sagten sie, dass sie es in der Anzeige ändern und es deutlicher hinschreiben wollten. Vom Balkon hat man eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf die Berge. In den zwei Zimmern sind Ventilatoren, die die Hitze erträglicher machen. Über der Straße kommt man zur Promenade mit einem Sandstrand. Ein sehr flacher Einstieg ins Wasser + Schwimmaufsicht (Lifeguards) machten einen schönen Strandbesuch mit den Kindern möglich. Für Wenig Geld erreicht man vom Bahnhof Menton-Garavan in 15 min. Monaco-Ville und in knapp einer halben Stunde Nizza. Es lohnt sich wirklich, das Auto stehen zu lassen und den Zug nehmen. Die Tiefgarage, die zur Wohnung gehört ist höchstens für Autos mit einer Höhe von 1,90 m geeignet. Menton ist zudem auch zum spazieren gehen gut geeignet. Am Ende schenkten uns die Gastgeber sogar eine zusätzliche Nacht. Alles in allem war es ein schöner, gelungener Urlaub. :-)

Perfekte Lage

Die Lage der FeWo ist genial, 100 m zum Strand und 200 m zur Altstadt. Ruhige Wohnung mit herrlichem Bergblick. Sehr hilfsbereite und nette Vermieter. Ich konnte den Tiefgaragenplatz leider nicht nutzen (mein Sportwagen setzte auf, da die Zufahrt zu steil war). Massimo hatte mir einen Ersatzparkplatz organisiert. Leider war dieser zu eng.Dies ist aber ein grundsätzliches Problem in Menton! Das Internet konnten wir kaum nutzen, da die Verbindung oft zu schlecht war. Wir hatten trotz allem einen schönen Urlaub in Menton und kommen gerne wieder.

Nous avons séjourné dans la location de Massimo et Giovanna du 31 août au 7 Septembre, et nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Nous n'avions qu'à traverser la rue pour avoir accès à la plage et aux restaurants, Super U à 5min à pied et la vieille ville à 10min. Une vue splendide du balcon sur les montagnes et les palmiers. Nombreux bus à disposition pour aller se balader à Monaco ou encore Nice. Appartement très propre et très agréable dans résidence avec piscine sur le toit et une vue à couper le souffle. Les propriétaires sont d'une gentillesse exemplaire et sont toujours de bons conseils pour les balades à faire, très disponibles pour toutes questions. Merci encore à eux nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances!! ;)

Great apartment great location great host

I liked the apartment The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. There was a clothes washing machine in the apartment. Also a line drying rack. There was plenty of heat. There was a bottle of wine in the fridge along with some light snacks. Communication was easy and very fast. I would recommend this apartment to you.

Massimo and Giovanna's Apartment Menton

This is a well equipped clean and modern apartment. Massimo and Giovanna the owners are most pleasant and helpful and make sure you have everything you require for a comfortable holiday. All linen was provided towel sheets etc. on request and most important a Wi-Fi connection which enabled us to play English movies on their TV via our computer/tablet. The apartment has its own pool on the roof but better than tat the beach is no more that 50 meters away. Menton is a fantastic Riviera town with good public transport systems trains and Buses with easy access to Italy, Monaco and Nice airport. I have no problem of recommending this comfortable apartment for 2 persons. There is a sofa bed in the main living room that will accommodate an extra 2 persons (children or good friends). My only criticism is the apartment faces NE and you only get full sun on the balcony up to about 1100 hrs. though this may be advantageous in the hot summer months when you need shade.
