About this property

This multi-level 2-bed/2-bath condo is the perfect place for a family or friends ski vacation or summer getaway in the mountains. With just a short walk to the Thunderhead chair lift and Right-o-Way run, avoid the crowd at the base and get on the slopes sooner! More experienced skiers also have the option to ski out directly to Right-o-Way. This unit includes parking for two vehicles and an on-call shuttle is provided during the ski season.
The living area includes a large 'smart' flat-screen TV and gas fireplace with access to a quiet balcony. The large master bedroom is located on the lower level and features a king bed and attached full bathroom, as well as its hallway entrance door. Behind an impressive barn door off the living room lies the second bedroom. Although most condos in Steamboat do not have an AC option, this unit includes an “in-room”-type AC system with instructions for set-up and use. The community includes a private ski locker to store your gear, a sauna, and a coin-operated washer and dryer located next door to this unit. The community pool and hot tub are open during Steamboat Resort's ski season and during the summer from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Great location!

This is in a great location with easy access to the Thunderhead lift. Thunderhead isn't crowded in the mornings, so it's a great alternative to the base area!

Hidden Gem

Great condo right off the slope… Enjoyed both the location and the amenities. It is up the road a bit from the base, so if you don’t have a car, you’re going to be relying on buses but for many that’s also a plus as it’s nice and quiet in the evening. Would definitely stay there again.

The Lodge

Sweet location with an easy walk to mid mountain Thunderhead lift. Allows you to get to the top of the mountain early and get 3-4 runs in before any crowds. Easy process for check in and out all around

Location was great. Condo worked well, though it is tight in the bunk room. It was nice to have two bathrooms. We appreciated the hot tub and were thankful it got fixed.

Our stay was good, but the ski-in/ski-out description and the map showing I feel were inaccurate. It is missing the road and second group of houses between this location and the slope. You have to ski down a wooded trail, cross a road and ski down between other homes. Getting back is a 0.2 mile walk downhill on the side of the road.

Good little condo

Quiet condo, reasonably clean, comfortable. The frying pans stick terribly, if you’re planning on cooking there a lot you’ll want to plan accordingly. It’s a comfortable place to stay in Steamboat!

Short Weekend Getaway

Pros -- great location, great space, quiet, lovely view of the hillside, really enjoyed the amenities (pool, sauna, hot tub) Cons -- everyone has a different threshold/criterion for cleanliness, but in my opinion, the property could benefit from having the carpet/upholstery deep cleaned Other -- should let future guests know to bring their pool towels since the property did not provide

Great Weekend Stay

Was a really nice place for four adults for the weekend. Roomier than expected. The still photos made it seem smaller, the 380 tour shows the property better. The stairs could be challenging to navigate due to being narrow and steep.

Great location!

This is a great location within walking distance to the Thunderhead Express lift. Place was comfortable for four guests. Place could have been a little cleaner. Bath mats needed cleaned and we discovered a moldy half eaten apple between the bed and night stand.

Easy and convenient

We had a lovely stay. The condo is small but cozy and has everything you need for a weekend getaway. The location is very convenient to the thuderhead lift which was great for skiing. We had issues with trying to utilize the free shuttle, as it was never available or went to the wrong location, however we understand that it was a busy festival weekend. Overall a great experience.

Lovely stay in Steamboat

Clean and comfortable condo. The master bedroom is huge and nice and cool in the lower level. The second bedroom is not a room but bunk beds behind a barn door off the main living area. Still worked fine.

Nice condo

Cozy condo convenient to Steamboat Resort. Very clean. The parking lot was a bit precarious and icy and we did find a smoke detector unplugged above the refrigerator. We did not use the free shuttle as we found it more convenient to use our own car for transportation. We overall enjoyed our stay!

Everything you need!

We came to Steamboat to ski for a few days and had a great time staying at this lodge! It’s just a .2 walk to the nearest ski lift. You’re not in walking distance to the base or town but if you know ahead of time to download the Retreatia complimentary shuttle app, you can reserve a ride to any place! They’re quick and efficient! The lodge itself has all the extra amenities you might need plus some games and other perks! I would highly recommend!

Pro: Great, clean property with pool and hot tub access. Clear communication from property on parking, rules etc. Felt welcomed via the welcome packet. Con: Room view was the side of the hill and I didn’t realize that the main bedroom was downstairs and not on the main level. Not a big deal! Still had a great time! Far away from town and summer mountain activities. Had to drive rather than walk to festivities.
