Best place yet

The property is one of the nicest places we have stayed. The place is decorated beautifully and everything is in great shape and working order. We had a wonderful time together as a family.

Great house close to beach

House was great! Clean, cute and fully stocked. The space was great for our large family with bunk rooms for the kids. We didn't realize that you had to use outside stairs to get to the lower level with two bedrooms but it worked out. Owner was quick to respond to inquiries. We would rent again!

Family Time at the beach

We have gone a lot of different places but we all decided this was our best house as a family! The way the house is layed out gives plenty of space for all family members. And it was a quiet house. It had everything we needed- we certainly appreciated having an elevator to transport items. Highly recommend!!!! We had 17 family members ranging from infant to adult!

Great family rental

This is the 3rd property we’ve stayed in as a family. The themed rooms and decor was very inviting and happy. We had ages 64 to 14 months and it was great for all of us. It is close to the beach, but not close enough to hear all the noise of the cars. Our host was very attentive to our questions and responded quickly. Everything was well organized and very user friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone with a large group.

This was our second time to stay at this property.

The set-up of the house with the bottom floor suite/kitchenette is great for multiple family groups staying together. The house is nicely decorated and in good repair, lots of towels for everyone, and the middle deck is wonderful for hanging out and letting the kids play. We used construction safety fencing to stake out our spot on the beach right near the house. It is literally a two minute walk to the sand. The owner was helpful in answering our questions during our stay.

Enjoyable vacation

Location near beach great. Very nice that everyone in my family had their own bedroom. The common areas were large and had comfortable furniture. Worked very well for family reunion. We had a problem with exterior garage elevator door, but with house code were able to work around it. Third floor bedroom AC not very effective and bad smell on second floor, but great experience!!

Beach fun

House was great, very clean and well organized. Having the kitchenette downstairs was wonderful for giving a bit of personal space to various family units! Lots of beach towels as well as bath towels, which was great with 18 people. There was plenty of room to cook and eat. We did bring a small table to set up for dinner for the younger kids. The owner was helpful when we had a medical emergency with our 1 yr old grandson. My advice for any doctors would be to open an emergency practice on the peninsula!!!! Bring tons of bug spray, especially if you go near the grass. The kids got eaten up. One of the dryers didn’t work, which made it hard to dry laundry, but having two units helped. The elevator can be tricky and we had an issue, but it was resolved. I would recommend this house.

Great stay!

Three families had a great stay at this property! We stayed over New Year's Eve and enjoyed everything the house/beach had to offer. Only suggestion is to get cable/direct tv/dish, so that tv is more reliable vs relying on internet only where speed of data would be reduced if other devices were using Wifi.

Family Beach Trip

Our family vacation at the Coconut Sunrise was fantastic. The house was beautiful, clean and very accommodating. It is very close to the beach...we could walk. The owner was very helpful. Everytime I texted or called, she answered right away and was able to take care of our needs instantly.

Everyone enjoyed the house and proximity to the beach. Enough room for everyone inside and out. The only thing missing is seating and table either in the backyard or on the lower level.

Regarding your comments on seating: we have three decks: the huge MEZZANINE DECK has 18 wooden deck chairs that have foot rests and cup holders, along with 3 - 3 Foot square tables; and 2 one foot square tables. The MAIN DECK has 7 wooden deck chairs, and the very TOP DECK has two wooden deck chairs. The area underneath the house is for golf carts; vehicles; trailers; and four wheelers. No room for tables there. So in total, we have 27 wooden deck chairs, and 5 tables on three decks. We opted to put NO deck chairs in the back yard, and encourage our guests to use their portable fold up chairs for that space. We invite you and your guests to return again soon! COCONUT SUNRISE

Perfect weekend getaway

This beach house was absolutely beautiful! It was perfect for a weekend away with my kids and some of their friends for spring break. Wish we could have stayed longer! The home was so comfortable and clean and had literally everything we needed. The owner was the sweetest lady and so easy to work with. Just steps away from the beach! It was perfect. Hope we get to go back some day!

Home so beautiful

Everyone had a great time and the home was very comfortable and the amenities were good. It was exceptionally clean and the proximity to beach was excellent. The elevator was a big plus especially transporting everything to the top level. Highly recommend

Weekend Stay

Owners were great! Property was beautiful, perfect location for beach and trips to the store if you need anything. Our daughter has rheumatoid arthritis so the elevator was a life safer and allowed her to come!

Great Getaway

This is a beautiful property, it has a great set up for multiple families. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing great meals. The property is super close to the beach you can walk or drive right up to set up your spot. The porches are awesome and the neighbor even had a live band one night which added to the amazing ambiance. Barbara was great to work with, the AC needed fixing and she was on it as quick as possible and even had a plan b to help make sure we were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. The only sad thing was the ferry had a 100 minute wait so we didn't get to hit Galveston on the way home but that had nothing to do with the property. I would highly recommend this place for groups, great place, great location, great owner!!

Celebration Getaway

Wonderful place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren. Comfortable and well equipped home. The furnishings and bedding attractive and comfortable. Plenty of space for our party of 18. Don’t pack beach towels. More than enough for our large group. Short walk to the beach. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Couples Retreat

The home was beautiful and pristine and we absolutely enjoyed our visit!!!! We had 6 couples and everyone was pleased with their sleeping arrangements. Access to the beach was excellent and the view from deck was breathtaking. The elevator made loading and unloading so much easier for the husbands. I definitely would recommend this home!!!I don’t love doing the laundry so the only issue I had was the contractual request to wash all the bed linens and towels at the end of our visit. 😬

So very glad you and your friends enjoyed our COCONUT SUNRISE. We strive to offer the very best accommodations with the most amenities on CRYSTAL BEACH, TX ! This property is one of the few that has an actual ELEVATOR. Certainly, if you do not like to do laundry, we will be happy to accommodate you: our HOUSEKEEPING CREW will be happy to do the laundry. As noted in our contract: " Wash and dry two loads of towels, start a third washer. Leave no more than 3 loads for housekeeping.'" As noted, any extra loads will cost $25 per load. Of course, at COCONUT SUNRISE, we have TWO WASHERS and TWO DRYERS to accomplish any washing duties quickly! We are here to make sure your vacation/retreat is everything you expected!! Please come again! COCONUT SUNRISE
