Anniversary Trip

A wonderful quiet place. Located in between a number of great places to visit. The cabin had all the amenities we were looking for. Clean and well maintained. And it stayed warm in the sub zero temperatures!

Perfect location for many activities

Our family came out here for MEA break and the location of the cabin was perfect to get to many places in the area. The cabin fit our family of 4 nicely.

Cute cabin

Cute cabin not far from Mount Rushmore. Very clean and well taken care of. Owners are great people and easy to work with. We enjoyed our stay and felt comfortable and at home. They have put a lot of thought into making this a good experience.

Comfy temporary 2nd home

Jim made it very easy to feel welcomed, wanted, and comfortable. The place was exactly what it appeared to be and allowed me to have a nice couple enjoyable days in the Hills.

Great little cabin at a central location

We had a great stay at Sunset #2 cabin. It was the perfect size for our family of 5. It was very clean cabin/property and kids enjoyed the outdoor playsets. The host was super! The location was also great being central to many sights--however, if you're trying to enjoy a nice quiet night under the stars, then this might not be the place for you, with the loud traffic constantly going by. I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too :)

Vacation

This was my third trip to Rustic Ridge Cabins. They are nestled in the Black Hills, safe, and exceptionally clean. I love that they are centrally located to various sites. I will definately return next year.

Cabin was clean and had everything we needed plus more, honestly the host thought of everything! Location is awesome. Quiet, with exception of cars on the road. Never heard our neighbors in other cabins. Will be back!

One of the best experiences I've ever had on this site

This property was ideally located between Keystone & Hill City, just a little ways from Rapid City. My elderly father and I stayed for four nights and the family that runs the cabins could not be better hosts. From simple questions, to little asks in the unit (slip mat for the tub), they came through on every account. Everything about this place was excellent, just bring earplugs in the summer so those motorcycles driving by don't wake you!

We had a great time!

Owners very accommodating and gave great ideas on what to do. A little noise by being on main road, but being off season we were not bothered. We loved it, And were there only to sleep, but I bet in warmer weather, it would be fun to sit with other neighbors at the fire pit etc!

Highway View-Only Drawback

Loved the cabin & ease of commuting with owners. Location in terms of sigh-seeing is terrific, but I didn’t realize view from front porch was a major/busy highway.
