About this property

1-Bedroom Executive Suite at Ports of Call Resort

Ports of Call Resort is the most affordable boutique resort in the Turks and Caicos Islands. It is within walking distance of many restaurants, dining, family-friendly activities, nightlife, and what many have named as the #1 beach in the world, Grace Bay Beach. You’ll love our hotel because of the complimentary continental breakfast, area, comfy beds, variety of amenities, and the cosiness. This one bedroom apartment is great for couples, solo/business travellers, and families.

The space

Ports of Call Resort is a Canadian, family owned resort which strives on providing excellent customer service, and accommodation that will feel like your home away from home. We believe we offer high value at a competitive price by offering all of the amenities of a much larger resort, but keeping it in a condensed boutique setting.

The apartment is 600 sq. ft. and located on the second floor of the hotel. Please note, there are no elevators in the hotel so guests must be okay with stairs. We have staff that will carry your luggage to and from your room.

Guest access

As a guest, you will have access to our pool, hot tub, fitness centre, lobby / common area, business centre, breakfast room, barbecue area, microwaves, pool side bar, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, floats, beach shuttle, and designated beach area on Grace Bay Beach equipped with chaise lounges, umbrellas, and a beach attendant.

Interaction with guests

If you have any questions before, during or after your stay, please do not hesitate to get in contact with us. I am not always on the property but am always available to help!

Other things to note

Security Deposit:
Please note that guests will be asked to provide a $200 security deposit at check-in. This can be paid in cash, or taken as a hold on a credit card. Given there are no damages upon check-out, guests who paid cash will be given back the $200 in cash, and those who have paid credit card will have the $200 hold released. Please keep in mind that due to international banking, this can sometimes take up to 14-days to be removed on your statement.

Taxes (not included):
Listing price does not include island taxes. Upon check-in, guests will be asked to pay a 22% tax on their sub-total before Airbnb service charge.

Extra Person Charges (not included):
Rates are based on single or double occupancy (children 12 and under are free). A third or fourth adult (13+) will incur an additional fee of $35/person/night + 22% tax

Getting to the property:
We do not offer shuttle service from the airport. Guests can take a cab or rental car from the airport. If taking a cab, you can grab one from outside of the airport and expect a 15 minute drive as well as a $36 fare /1-2 people and $16 each additional person.

We do not recommend that guests need a car as they are within walking distance to a majority of the island's attractions. If you did want to rent a car, we always recommend Caicos Wheels – they are located in our on-property plaza and give discounts to guests at Ports of Call Resort.

Vacation Getaway

Beach getaway. Great location in the middle of everything. Location was great. Room was very clean and updated. Beach access was wonderful and always had chairs and umbrellas available. The only downside is that the water pressure in the shower was very, very low and temperature was luke warm at best. The breakfast was not great. We actually went out for breakfast after viewing what the vrbo had to offer.

Quick Turks Trip

Overall, my wife and I thought this was a good location. The room was really nice, the lobby and resort was ok. The location was pretty close to the beach, they had a shuttle available if you didn’t want to make the 5 min walk. There are a few (2-4) restaurants in walking distance. We rented cars from the local rental car store which was also in walking distance. This is not a luxury resort (neither is it advertised to be) but it’s a great option for an affordable Turks Trip.

Perfect for us. Not on the beach but very close

Really nice stay. This property is in a small "resort," more like a hotel just off the beach. Best part is they have lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach just like the fancy beach front properties. If you are used to 5 star resorts, don't bother. If you like no frills but everything you need, this is perfect. Right next to the grocery, which has a fresh salad bar for lunch. We'd definitely go back.
