This condo is under new ownership in the popular Lighthouse Resort in Gulf Shores. It has just been beautifully redecorated, and is a beach front condo with balcony, 2 bedroom/2 bath plus bunk room for the kids. The 5th floor is the perfect floor, not too high, not too low, and the balcony has direct views of the ocean and can be accessed from both the living area, as well as from the Master Bedroom. The living room has a new 65 inch 4K with ROKU TV and DVD player. It has a King size bed in the master, a King size bed in the guest room, and a bunk room with two twin bunks for the kids with a door. You'll also be amazed by the comfort of the queen size sleeper sofa with it's new, thicker memory foam mattress. It is remarkably comfortable. The unit sleeps 8 total. We have a keyless entry system, so there's no waiting to check-in! There is free Wireless Internet as well. There is 24 hour security provided by the condo.
This condo has 3 pools on the property: One "zero entry" Gulf-side pool with spraying fountains that the kids love, another large Gulf-side pool, and one seasonally heated indoor pool. So no worries if there is rain, the kids still have something to do! There are also 2 Gulf-front hot tubs. The Fitness Center has large windows facing the Gulf, top-notch exercise equipment, as well as a dry sauna. There is also a BBQ area with grills for your use. Three levels of covered, convenient parking with 4 elevators adds to the ease of getting to your relaxing vacation! There is also an ice vending machine, payable by credit card, located in the parking garage on the first floor which makes loading up the cooler super convenient. There is even an air compressor for blowing up all those beach toys and floats as you head out to the easy-access boardwalk. Talk about convenient!
The Lighthouse is located directly on the beach. No need to cross any busy roads to go to beach. It is very close to the only "over-the-beach" seafood restaurant/pier in the area, "Sea and Suds." It is just a few minutes to grocery stores such as Wal-mart (2 miles), Target, Publix , and Winn- Dixie. The Hang Out (Music, Food and Fun-check out their website for scheduled events, concerts etc.) and the public pier at Gulf State Park are all within an easy walking distance. Golf enthusiasts have several wonderful courses to choose from in the area. The shopping mecca, Foley Outlet Mall, is 10 miles away and The Wharf retail shopping area is 7 miles away in nearby Orange Beach. There are many amusements for the whole family in the surrounding area and too many places to eat to list them all! Gulf Shores is a very family-friendly, packed with lots to do, but with that "small town feel" kind of place.
The Master bedroom, which opens to a gulf-front balcony, has a King bed, a new 55 inch 4K TV with Roku (so you can stream video/music from your favorite apps/ streaming services), DVD player, ceiling fan, private bathroom with double sinks, a jetted tub, and a separate shower. There is also a large walk-in closet that is large enough to use as a child's quiet sleeping area if you use the available pack and play. The Guest bedroom also has a King size bed and adjoins to the second bath, which has a tub/shower combo. It has a 50in. flat screen HD Smart TV ( also has streaming apps). The bunk room is perfect for kids or teens to have their own space to relax. It has it's own door to close for privacy/quiet and a flatscreen HD Smart TV and DVD player as well. We have stocked the condo with an assortment of toys and games for different ages to enjoy. There are also two beach chairs and sand toys to use. For those with very small children, we have provided a pack and play with a mattress protector for extra cushion and sheets for it. There is a high chair you can use, if needed, that straps onto a dining chair. There is also basket for the dish washer to hold small lids or pacifiers or bottle parts, etc. and a bottle cleaning brush too. We have some blocks for small children to play with, toys and books for a those a bit older as well, and board games for teens too.
There is a full size washer and dryer in the unit in a separate laundry room, iron, and ironing board if needed.
The kitchen, with brand new appliances and granite counters, is fully stocked for your convenience in case you want to make your meals in the room. In addition to the normal pots, pans, and baking sheets, there is a crock pot, hand mixer, toaster, blender, and two coffee makers.
There are a maximum of 2 cars allowed in the parking garage for our unit. A parking pass is required for each vehicle and must be purchased by the renter using a credit card upon arrival at the 2nd floor front desk for $40/each pass until March 1, 2024. Then the rate as set by the Condo Association is increasing to $50/per pass. It is good for the length of your stay. (The parking fee is subject to change by the Association and is paid to them at time of checking in. We do try to stay up-to-date on the amount in our description here.)
The Lighthouse is a Non-Smoking Property. This includes not only each condo, but the balcony as well. No smoking or vaping is allowed in the units or on the balconies or common areas. There are designated smoking areas away from any indoor/outdoor common areas.
Although we love animals too, this is a no pets complex. This is vigorously enforced by the Lighthouse. If you are found with a pet on the premises, you will be subject to immediate eviction. DO NOT Bring your pet!

Hurricane Policy:
If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless:
The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or
A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest.
The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund:
-Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered;
-Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and
-Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period.
