Modern Kirkwood East Meadows Home

Located at the Kirkwood Ski Resort, in the newer East Meadows neighborhood below Red Cliffs. Free shuttle to resort from driveway. Steps away from dog-friendly meadow and cross country loop.

Immaculate, two thousand square feet, this is a cozy modern cabin great for a family or two to three couples. Great room combines living room, dining and a granite counter top kitchen. Light grey carpeting lends a contemporary feel (no outdoor shoes please!), floor to ceiling windows, clean wood burning fireplace insert, flat panel SmartTV (sign into Netflix, Showtime, etc. utilizing fiber optic cable internet or use Satellite TV).

Two bedrooms on the main level along with an open floor space great room including dining nook, living space, granite kitchen with island and bath (tub/shower). Step outside to a large deck with views of the resort and a private 8 person hot tub.

Upstairs is a loft with seating and the master bedroom with a large shower. The master has a desk, cell booster, wifi (throughout the house), printer and monitor if you need to get some work done.

The entry level houses the large mud room, boot dryer, full size washer / dryer and has direct indoor access to the two car garage.

The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances (June Oven, dishwasher, stove/oven, refrigerator, blender, coffee makers (Nespresso & classic), waffle iron, crock pot, blender, toaster, etc, gadgets, dishes & glassware, and basic spices.

Coziest getaway

This is our second time staying here and we LOVE it so much! The kitchen is well stocked, owner communicates well, and the house is the perfect base for exploring beautiful Kirkwood. We snowshoed and enjoyed winter fun!

Wonderful getaway in Kirkwood

Vikki's home is the quintessential cozy mountain getaway. It's warm and welcoming, with plenty of space for 6+ adults and children. We had a wonderful time staying here and would do so again in a heart beat!

Lovely Home

We enjoyed a comfortable early fall stay at this lovely home. It was well-equiped and the kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of comfy chairs. The location was perfect among the pines and close to great hiking trails and fishing. We especially liked lounging in the reclining chairs on the deck. The host was very responsive to our questions. We would certainly stay again.

Beautiful, clean home in great location

The house was exactly as advertised. It was very clean (except the cookware, but that's common in rentals) and well maintained. We appreciated the large mudroom for our ski clothing and boots. The location is great for skiing; the shuttle stops at the driveway! We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

Top shelf, super convenient to skiing. Communication with host stellar and so appreciated! Experienced mega snowfall, driveway cleared daily, jeep grand cherokee with rooftop thule box parked nicely in garage. Stocked woodpile in garage (kindling included), BONUS. Fam friendly. We had a really great experience!

Perfect Getaway

My family loved staying at this house and we’d love to come back. This was the best rental experience we’ve had. We delayed coming up a day due to road closures and Vikki was amazing with communication the entire time. She worked hard to ensure access to the house following record snow fall and worked with us to get in. The house is lovely, clean, and is well stocked; we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of everything in the kitchen. Everyone was comfortable in their rooms and we enjoyed spending time in the living room with the beautiful large windows. We all agreed we’d love to come back in any season. Thank you!

Great stay, beautiful home

House was super comfortable. The family really enjoyed. Everything clean, well-stocked and functional. Quiet, peaceful location in the neighborhood. Very, very comfortable furniture. Firm, good mattresses. The deck is even more furnished than the photos. Great kitchen, with shelves left open for storing things you've brought. Probably the best master bathroom and shower I've stayed in. Great counter, shelf and drawer space there also. Key info and question-reply communications before and during the trip with Vikki were great. Perfect indoor temperatures with lots of double-pane windows and good screens. Really enjoyed and highly recommend.

Even better than the pictures!

We had an amazing stay. The home was even nicer (more spacious and brighter) than the photos, and the furniture was very comfortable. The kitchen was the best-equipped of any vacation rental we stayed in (we cooked several delicious meals), and Vikki was very responsive and helfpul - including when we got snowed in and had to stay an extra night! We'll definitely stay here again during our next visit to Kirkwood!

Clean, comfortable, convenient

We loved staying at this comfortable Kirkwood home. It really makes such a difference to stay in a home that is cared for by its owners, rather than a third party company as many rentals are today. Allan and Vicki were excellent communicators. The home was super clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Accessing the home was straightforward. We easily went between the ski lifts and the house each day, and it’s close enough to come home for lunch. We enjoyed the hot tub and found the beds very comfortable. We hope to return to this home next year!

Wedding

Perfect setting. The home met our needs as a getaway for a couple days, and then entertaining friends and relatives for our son’s wedding and as a staging area for the groomsmen. Vikki was responsive. Home was beautiful.

Great ski cabin

I can’t say enough about this amazing ski cabin! It’s Beautiful, clean, well-supplied, and so comfortable. The hosts were helpful and accommodating when we had an unexpected extra night due to a flat tire. We’ll definitely be back.

Comfortable Mountain Home

We really enjoyed our stay. It felt like we were at a friends house instead of a rental. We had everything we needed which is important at Kirkwood because there are not many services nearby. Sledded, skied and snowshoed and had a wonderful time.

Beautiful, comfy home

A pleasure, as before, when we stayed here. The only thing to improve it would have been the weather, but that is out of everyone's control! Snow piled up 12 ft on each side of driveway and ice build up into the garage made parking a challenge. But my husband is a rock! He can park on a dime!

Great cabin and owner is the nicest person!

This cabin was very nice, clean and well maintained. There is a shuttle service that conveniently takes you to the resort. Our stay was a bit longer than planned due to a snow storm that kept the main highway 88 closed for serval days. The owner, Vikki, was very helpful during this time and allowed us to stay the extra nights. I would definitely come back and stay in this cabin for future Kirkwood trips. :)
