Dirty
This may be the dirtiest cabin I have ever stayed in. The underneath of the bed was filled with dust and per air. There were even socks that weren’t ours, which proved it was never clean. Even though the place states no pets, there was dog hair everywhere and a dog toy on the porch. I’m also not happy with the communication with the host. The night we got there, we were having problems getting into the cabin and no one would answer or communicate with us. The road to travel also needs work

loved the cabin hated the drive up to it.
I thought it was a getaway but turned out kids next to us were very loud and I was very disappointed but the cabin itself was absolutely beautiful-could've been awesome had we had more space in between cabins. But hanks for the getaway!
Overall, my partner and I had a wonderful weekend stay. Unfortunately, we had some complaints. The first being the very poor shower lighting; a small can light would do the space wonders. Second, was the quality of the cooking pans/utensils. The cookware was badly scratched and the utensils need replaced with something silicone or wooden. There was also a lack of counter space. The living area could benefit greatly from an end table or a small coffee table. Just as well the right side of the bed could also benefit from a small nightstand like the one on the other side of the bed. The entrance could also use some hooks for coats or an entire coat rack. Besides what I covered above, the location was great. Located only a few minutes from Logan, everything is easily accessible. The space was very clean. The hot tub was clean and was perfect for a snowy weekend. I would definitely suggest staying here. Just make sure you have a AWD vehicle as the roads are poorly graveled and the drainage is very lackluster. If it rains or snows, the roads are a muddy/icy mess.
Overall, a cozy little cabin for 2! The hot tub was nice and hot (104 degrees), everything was provided - kitchen ware/utensils, towels, DVD player with movies, and other necessities like a broom, garbage bags, rags, dish soap, etc. Reached out to the property manager and got a response right away. Very helpful and accommodating. ***** Just a heads up *****There isn’t any WiFi in the cabin and the location is pretty remote so cell service is bad. However, they provide WiFi hotspots you can pick up. This is detailed in the check in instructions they send you. The road up to the cabins are a single car road and are very steep at times. Being that it’s winter, the roads were icy. We seen so many people get stuck trying to come down/up the hills near us. Some people couldn’t even make it down their driveway so they parked on the side of the path. If you don’t have all wheel drive, I wouldn’t recommend staying here in the winter! The GPS will most likely take you to the wrong place initially. It took us to a private campground behind our actual cabin entrance. They send instructions on how to get there in the check in information, also.

Not booking it again
Heavy pet hair on bed and love seat. Bed was too small and the mattress is very worn out. Not happy with what I paid for lousy cleaning. Sleeping there was terrible.

Okay
Bed too small and lumpy as hell. It was very difficult to sleep. The unit was “no pets” but there was very heavy dog hair on the love seat cover and bed. This makes me think that no one is doing laundry between guests and switching out everything properly. Everything else was okay. We will stay somewhere else next time.

Our stay at this property was unfortunately disappointing due to several issues that impacted our comfort. The TV had no sound due to a blown speaker, and the remotes didn’t work, which was frustrating. The towels and washcloths were worn out, thin, and rough, and one of the blankets provided was dirty. Additionally, the sink was not properly cleaned and still had food stuck on the sides, and there was a noticeable layer of dust on most surfaces.
On the positive side, the bathroom and shower were clean, with good hot water and strong water pressure, which we appreciated. However, the overall lack of attention to basic cleanliness and upkeep made the stay less enjoyable than we had hoped. With better maintenance and attention to detail, this property could be a much more comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

Our confirmation email informed us of the steep hill we would have to drive, but we were not prepared for the dangerous sized potholes we'd have to navigate on the steepest part of the hill. I sent an email and spoke to a someone on the phone with concern about the hot tub, which was remotely set at 99 degrees. In my opinion, that's a bath, not a hot tub. I was told it could not be changed. My husband and I got in anyway, but the chemicals were so strong, it burned our eyes, and we got out in less than 10 minutes. I called after hours and left a voicemail asking for help with the oven, but no one ever returned my call. Only the two small burners on the back on the stove work. That made it difficult for cooking. There was only a round pizza pan to go in the oven and no oven mitts to get it out. There were only two plastic bowls in the cabinets, and one had a hole in the bottom. The shower is in a cut-out spot in the wall, not actually in the bathroom. There's no lights in it, so you can't shower when it's dark outside because there's not enough light in the cabin itself to see well. I had to open the shower curtain to let in more light to see which bottle was the shampoo and the conditioner because it was too dark to read. Finally, the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I had ever slept in in my life. Thankfully, we only stayed two nights because we would have left after that anyway. Our backs couldn't handle a third night on that mattress.
I want to start off by specifying, We by no means are fancy people! This cabin would be perfect for maybe a single man staying to go hunting but not for a couple. First off we have a suv and were nervous driving to the cabin, if we had to pass a vehicle it would have been very difficult. Once arriving to the cabin we quickly realized the pictures online are not of this cabin! The bed is terrible, the fridge is tiny if you are planning to bring a bunch of your own food to cook. The toilet is in a closet so after doing your business you have to come out of the closet to wash your hands. The shower is just in the corner of the room so zero privacy to get in or out of the shower. (The towels are terrible, might be ok for toddler or tiny person) We did use the grill but it looks like it’s cold die any day. We spent 5 hours out at the fire pit which is nice enough. The hot tub was function and nice. The cabin is not cozy at all. It got us by but will never be back!!
Took a friend for a mini vacation and we stayed in the wild rose cabin for a night. It was an amazing relaxing little get away. My only concern is the drive up the hill. We had no problems getting there in her jeep but my car would have never made it. To be honest we appreciated the remote stay just would have liked a heads up on the drive.
It was pleasant, there were a few things that could be improved. More lighting over the range for cooking, the outside grill was broken.😞 Maybe a small chest drawer to put clothes in. Paint the fridge and explain to guests that you will need 4x4 wheel drive to navigate the hills and inclines. Bed was uncomfortable 😣 HOT TUB was the Highlight of our stay!!! I would refer to friends and others!

Good just a couple recommendations.
The cabin was cute. But you need better beds for the price should be top of the line mattress. And make sure the cabins are stocked. There were no coffee filters I mean how do you know what type of filters the coffee filter it takes. And the filter system for the hot tub would not stay on.

Quiet, scenic and rustic with rough road to cabin
The cabin is nice, clean, rustic, scenic and quiet.
The cabin was clean and nice. Quiet and serene. We saw deer on the check in and as we were leaving in the morning. It was austere with no internet/wifi. The road up to the cabin is very hilly and difficult. We were there in perfect weather and in a truck and we wondered how we would get to the cabin in difficult weather. The road is noted on the confirmation, but I don't recall if it is noted as a warning before confirmation.
This was a great stay. If you are looking for a pot with in minutes from Hocking Hills Blue Rose Cabins are worth checking into. The only trouble we had was, my car was unable to get u the washed out road with huge stones. I called and they were happy to put us in a empty cabin.
Centrally and conveniently located in the beautiful Hocking Hills. Just a short scenic drive from the main highway on 25 breathtaking acres, you will have the time of your life.
