Beautiful view but needs some tlc
We enjoyed this little cabin in the woods, being in the hot tub and enjoying a sunset view into the night sky full of stars was spectacular. The cabin itself needs a little tlc. There is a hole in the bathroom floor, that felt soft and we were careful not to fall through. The cabin got really hot from the heat being turned on and we werenât able to turn on the ceiling fan due to the amount of noticeable dust on it. The appliances can updated as well

We had a great relaxing weekend!
We loved the privacy that our cabin had. Quiet and secluded. Loved the jacuzzi on the deck. Very happy with our stay, plan on returning in the future. Only thing is they need a bigger sign on the main road. Itâs so tiny, thank god we arrived in during the day or we wouldnât have found it. Zero phone service.

Cute little cabin but the road leading to the cabin most likely messed up my car and there was holes in the floor with one of them leaking but overall served its purpose! Gave us the real cabin camping lifestyle!

It was a clean, pleasant, quiet stay.
The solitude, the quiet, the clean prepped cabin, the clean hot tub.
The location is great. It feels nice and homey when you walk in. We enjoyed the outdoors. Grilled burgers. We enjoyed the fresh air and being near the trees. We enjoyed movies and games. A fun family time out. The coffee emporium down the street was amazing. So many things to check out and explore. Definitely want to revisit Hocking Hills again
Nice secluded cabin with nice environment. Good access to Hocking Hills. However there was a lack of toiletries. We were required to wash dishes but there was no dish soap or sponges. But other than that it was very good.
Nice property. Nice Cabin. But needed a deep clean. We understand it's a cabin in the woods, but the dust on the ceiling fan has been there for years and the dust under the beds was thick.
The cabin was horrible. Didnt look like pictures. Was not pictures of this particular cabin. The outside had cigarette butts and trash laying around. Walked into the cabin and smelled awful. Floor wasnt swept. Rat turds in the cupboards. Food left in the pull out couch that fell out when opened. Hottub was nice. And it was convenient that you could only stay one night. If we could of found another option we would of left.
The cabin is as listed. I had read the reviews about having to park at the top of the hill and walk down to the cabin, and you do! You cannot drive up to the door of the cabin! You park up in the parking spot provided and walk down a gravel path to the cabin. The cabin itself is cozy. The futon inside has seen better days, but we had no use for it anyway, but there is also a love seat to sit on. The hot tub was nice and relaxing. Everything is provided, so that was really nice. We only needed our toiletries, and food. We had a really great time while we were there!
Great cabin experience and close to all top tourist spots for hiking!
Check in was easy. It was a fun one road trip to the top then when arrived cabin was down hill a bit and inside was beautiful cedar all over! Amazing view of the woods. Hot tub was clean and the colorful hot tub lights made it one awesome night on the deck! Definitely will be back!
My sister, brother and I took our mom on a train ride in Nelsonville. The cabin was close and affordable. My mom still talking about how cute it was and wanted to bring it home with us đ. I should have paid more attention during booking, but the parking area down to the actual cabin was a little steep. Mom done well with her cane, we held onto her, but others may have a little more of a problem. Just be aware. Definitely not no one's fault but my own. I should have been more mindful of my mom's situation.

Dirty property
The unit was dirty! It looked like someone or thing had walked on the loveseat with dirty feet. The kitchen drawers were dirty and filled with mouse turds. The hot tub wasn't on and do we turned it on as soon as we got there and it was finally usable at 11:30pm. The furnace kept turning off so we checked the filter and it was filthy. We cleaned it out and the furnace stayed on the rest of the night. We had to buy an antenna in town to be able to watch the TV. A horrible rental experience.
Had a great time at this cabin. Itâs cozy and the hot tub was very enjoyable for this time of year. The entrance to the cabin (dump yard) was a bit of a surprise but nothing horrible. Definitely would come back!

November stay
Cabin was overall nice, close to everything which was an added bonus. Could use a good cleaning and some gravel laid on the drive.
The cabin was very âin the woods.â The TV color was red and green mostly and no cable. They did have some old DVDs. Bring some of your own if you like to watch TV. Wi-Fi didnât work very well. Loved the hot tub. I think the cabin was suited more for 4 or less people, not up to 6. The couch was very old and the futon was partially broke. The air conditioner in the living area was partially broke because it would stop in the middle of the night with a CH on it. Luckily it wasnât terribly hot for us. Make sure you have 4 wheel drive as the gravel road can be steep and if itâs wet, a little slippery. I liked that it was very close to all that we wanted to do.
