House was clean and comfortable. Easy walk to cute main street, coffee shop and restaurant.
Bedrooms were quite warm and stuffy at night although they did have window cooling units and fans that did help some. It was good for what we needed. We were happy.
It was nice to have a washer and dryer
down stairs cold we had to buy extra blankets, i get it older house but having extra blankets in a closet would go a long way during winter . space heaters were no enough to keep cold out , 16 degrees at night with wind burrrrr!!! fix that and you would be great 5 star.
Nice property, nice upgrades inside . The only improvement I might suggest is a new thermostat. The heater would cease to come on a couple times until I would turn it off then back on again

Everything was new and clean. There was plenty of space in the house, and it was a one block walk to the downtown. It served our purpose well. The upstairs was attractive, but the slope was not for tall people. We enjoyed our stay there and will visit again.
Bathrooms were clean and a good size. Furniture was modern and clean. The kitchen had everything we could’ve possibly needed. Loved having a huge washer and dryer available to us. The town itself is a sleepy little town but definitely has some cute quirks to it, worth checking out. Not a huge dealbreaker but definitely just something to keep in mind that the floor is uneven in some spots. And the very top room has a quirky ceiling that I wouldn’t recommend for anyone who is tall. Also one of the bathrooms you have to walk through the kitchen in order to get to it. We were really disappointed in the complete lack of Internet in the house. So if you are a business traveler and you’re looking for a place to stay, just know that the Internet is completely nonexistent. Internet is listed as an amenity and it was not available at all. I contacted the owner immediately after arriving and did not hear from her during our entire stay. I had questions about multiple things. For example the house was not a comfortable temperature the entire time we were there, even though AC was listed as an amenity. The only respite we got was using the ceiling fans but even that made minimal difference. The top room was unbearably hot and no one could sleep up there. Thank goodness we didn’t have any kids or pets with us because it was so hot that that it would be a safety issue for kids or pets . I don’t know what was happening with the AC but once again I contacted the owner about this and didn’t hear anything. We actually left an entire day early because we could not sleep at night, even on the bottom floor it was just that hot and miserable. It also really bothered us that throughout the stay we would notice random windows and doors were either open or unlocked and that really made us feel uneasy. I wouldn’t stay here again.
