Come stay at The Gables and experience time period charm, wood floors, stain glass
windows and unique architectural detail with modern amenities. Property has three bedrooms; bedroom 1 on first floor has 1 twin bed, second floor bedroom 2 has 1 full and 1 twin bed and bedroom 3 has 2 full beds. Property has 1.5 baths, full kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer off kitchen and two built in a/c units. There is a gas grille and outdoor seating area for barbecuing. Property is located at the corner of West Grand and Ocean Ave and is a 150 yard walk to 7 miles of Old Orchard Beach! During Summer weeks rental is Saturday to Saturday .

Great location, bright & cheerful

We just returned from our family’s yearly OOB trip. This home is in a perfect location just up from the beach. It’s nice to have a convenience store with take out food nearby. It’s easy walking distance to the pier and restaurants. We were a bit visible to the morning walkers/ joggers when we sat outside to drink our coffee but we just got used to saying “ good morning” to everyone. Overall we had a fantastic week and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Cheryl

family beach vacation

My sisters and I chose this fantastic location, relaxing charming home to stay very close to the beach in Maine. We were not disappointed. Cheryl was super friendly, helpful and easy going. We enjoyed the house amenities, a/c was super in the heatwave, grilled seafood in the fence enclosed garden patio, enjoyed walking the short half block or so to the very clean, safe and quiet beach! It was a perfect place to unwind and enjoy high quality family time!

Great house close to everything

House was cute, close to the beach, restaurants, bars and 10 min drive from grocery store. It has everything you need to cook and be comfortable. Would rent again! PS: Note that the house is grey and not red like the picture, the street number was not on the wall and the Google Map Droped Pin on the website does not bring you to the right address. Double check with owner before taking the road.

Long weekend in Maine!!

Absolutely wonderful! Location close to beach, home beautiful and clean, and contact with owners couldn't have gone more smoothly. Highly recommended, have saved their business card, hope to rent this great property again when in Maine. The Girls from Vermont :)
