Come and unwind at Lanlas Cottages. With a lovely 4-poster bed and a log burning fire, our Tŷ Cerbyd cottage is perfect for a weekend getaway. It has high-speed WiFi >50 Mbps and a key lockbox for easy self check-in.
We are situated in a secluded area on a hill, overlooking the Teifi Valley, and yet only two miles away from the old market town of Lampeter with all its amenities. Lampeter is on routes to the Cambrian Mountains and the Cardigan Bay coast and the nearest beach is a 25 minutes drive away, where you will also find the Ceredigion Coastal Path - a 60 mile long trail.
Tŷ Cerbyd is ideal for couples or a small family. It has one large bedroom and sleeps up to three: one king and a single sofa bed (plus cot, if required). Great for birdwatchers and nature lovers.
Please note, we allow up to two well-behaved dogs (no other pets), if you would like to bring your best friend(s) along. A pet fee applies at the time of booking.

Review

Next to two other cottages on same property, so not good if you want seclusion. Helpful friendly hosts. Clean, well appointed cottage, good views, conveniently close to Lampeter with skall town facilities. Dog friendly. Good parking. My dog and I had a great holiday, fine weather helped.

Lovely place to stay

Gorgeous property. Clean, cosy & very comfortable bed. We had a lovely time even the rain didn't spoil our stay. My daughter loved the pigs. The owners are super lovely and are happy to help they provided us milk, eggs & biscuits 10 out of 10.

A Charming Little Cottage

The cottage is cosy yet spacious, beautifully located, clean well appointed and Daniela and John are great hosts - welcoming and responsive but not intrusive. I thoroughly enjoyed my week there something Id love to repeat!

Woodland cottage

There is a nice area at the front to sit and enjoy the birdsong from the trees all around. The cottage is wonderfully renovated, spacious and with all home comforts. Daniela and John were on hand to greet us as were the hens. We took a walk through the woodland and met the pet pigs. All in all a very relaxing and positive experience.

A lovely home from home break away.

A beautiful spacious cottage, well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Lots to do and see all within easy reach of the cottage. Daniela and John ensured we had all that we needed with great communication prior to and during our stay. The addition of fresh eggs from the resident chickens was a lovely treat. Will definitely come again.

Lovely cottage

What a lovely relaxing stay we had at Daniela and John's beautiful cottage. Spotlessly clean and perfectly equipped, cosy and warm with the comfiest bed ever. Peaceful retreat

Very nice cottage in a quiet setting. We enjoyed the wildlife and walking with the dogs in nearby forests. We would definitely recommend it for those who want to kick back and relax, and get away from the hubbub of daily life.

Wonderful cottage thoroughly recommended.

We had a superb stay in Ceredigion. The cottage was delightful with all we needed. Daniela was friendly and ready with advice. The countryside was so peaceful making sleep easy, but Lampeter was easy to access for food. The coast was easy to reach and provided fantastic walks. Heartily recommended for a relaxing break

Best few days break-away

We cannot even begin to explain how amazing the hosts were and cannot thank them enough for everything! The cottage was so clean and nothing was ever too much to ask. Thank you Daniela & John! Perfect Cottage (Converted Carriage House) and Location

Very pretty cottage, cosy, warm and welcoming! The cottage provided us with everything we needed and good sized fridge freezer, perfect for stocking up. Log burner with logs provided and freshly laid free range eggs from the resident chickens on arrival! Perfect! Lovely places close by to visit too. The roads are lovely to drive on or cycle and there are plenty of trails for walking enthusiasts!

A Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location.

We had an amazing time in Lampeter, enjoyed the scenic walks and meeting James the Pig 😊 The cottage is well located to within a reasonable drive of the coast and rural locations, we spent a day at Pendine Sands, another at the Brecon Beacons and a few days at Aberystwyth all around an hour or less drive. John and Daniela were very friendly and welcoming, we would love to stay again in the future.

Gorgeous property

Loved this property. So much character and a beautiful backdrop of you just want to relax. We had freshly laid eggs on arrival and the log burner was fantastic for cosy evenings together.

A short stay, a lovely well presented property. Warm and very cosy.

Although we only stayed for two nights it was very relaxing. We were made to feel very welcome, the fresh eggs were an absolute treat. We did have a little rain ! while we were there but the property was cosy and warm. Nice walks for myself and the dog nearby. Close enough to the coast to drive across to and allow the dog to run on the beaches we visited. Hope to return again to stay longer. Daniela and John made you feel at home and so very welcome, it was a nice experience, lovely area and views.

Definitely worth the 5hour drive :)

This cottage and the location is absolutely perfect. Upon arrival the outside of the property itself is lovely with amazing views over the valley. The inside was immaculate and provided with everything you need for your stay and more. Enjoyed numerous walks in the woods where we met their KuneKune pig James who my husband was fascinated by how friendly he is, and the views from the top of the mountain are amazing not even the rain could of put us off. Met Daniela briefly who was very welcoming and friendly taking time out of her day to actually stand and talk to us. I can honestly say i wish we booked for longer than 2 nights, it is such a lovely calming place to stay. We will be booking again. :)

Simply perfect

The property itself is amazing, it’s such a lovely place to stay. The setting is stunning, the wildlife and farm animals made it so special and it was spotlessly clean. There were great touches like eggs from the farms chickens when we arrived and milk/tea/coffee already there. They also have a wide selection of DVD’s and books to keep you occupied on the evening. Although we only met Daniela briefly she came across as a very warm person. We would 100% visit again and we were just so impressed by the price and overall quality.

A little piece of hideaway heaven

A must for your bucket list , this beautiful cosy cottage as everything you will ever need for a little hideaway break but with in easy reach of local amenities.
