Well designed, delightful villa in Cave Creek. Golf across the street, many great restaurants nearby, lots of activities, and beautiful sunsets. Quiet walks in neighborhood, very private. Loved it!
Our stay at this Cave Creek Villa was just delightful. The house was so comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had everything and more to help us prepare delicious meals. I can’t speak enough about the views and the amazing outdoor space. Thank you for a lovely stay!
We stayed for a month (January) and had a wonderful time. The house looks exactly like the pictures, and was very clean when we arrived. The outdoor space is large and private; the neighbors are quiet and friendly; the sunsets are beautiful; and you can walk to town easily from the house (Cave Creek has loads of shops and restaurants). Lots of hiking nearby. Jill (the owner) was quick to respond to questions and emails. Highly recommend. We’ll be back for sure.
Really nice condo in Cave Creek. Loved the SW decor and furnishings. Everything was top notch and nothing lacking for an extended stay. One of the reasons we choose this property was the proximity to Cave Creek/Carefree restaurants and Happy Hours. Even closer and better than we expected. Able to walk to town for many of our favorite spots on the north end. Short drive to Carefree and South Cave Creek. Large private patio with plenty of furniture, BBQ, and fireplace. Had a couple of nice fires in the evenings.
Jill was very prompt with questions and information we needed. Would definanetly recommend this property.
This beautiful Cave Creek villa was our home for a month and provided happy vibes, amazing views, security, and cozy comfort. The photos sold us on the outdoor patio space - which is Fabulous - but the entire home is lovely, well appointed, comfortable, and attractively decorated in cool Southwest flair! Two spacious bedrooms with their own en suite bathrooms, comfy mattresses, desks, and spacious closets. An indoor (gas) fireplace and - BONUS - an outdoor wood burning fireplace was awesome because the desert gets chilly at night! The kitchen has all the appliances, utensils, dishware, and cookware one needs to prepare a feast - and there is also a gas grill on the patio. And the community pool and hot tub are literally steps away - and very well maintained. Craig and Jill are kind and gracious hosts, and returned texts/questions promptly. Wonderful restaurants, hiking trails, and shopping are within the Cave Creek community and throughout the surrounding areas of Carefree and Scottsdale. We had such a rejuvinating time and would not hesitate to stay here again. Peace.
We were totally delighted with our stay at Jill + Craig's home in Cave Creek, stunningly decorated, extremely comfortable with a real home from home feel. We have stayed in the area many times but on this occasion and additional plus was the accessibility to the shops, restaurants, bars and cafes within the town - Saturday mornings were a joy just strolling through the town first for coffee, then lunch then a beer with live music. In addition one of our favourite golf courses, Rancho Manana, is literally across the road where not only is the course stunning, there is also a great bar and a wonderful restaurant. But we also thoroughly enjoyed the catering facilities in this lovely house: great kitchen, fab BBQ, outdoor fire, or indoor fire for those chillier evenings. Another huge plus for us was that the two bedrooms were set up as two double suites each with its own bath/shower facilities, and extremely comfortable beds - so much better for inviting our friends or adult daughter to stay. Our hosts couldn't have been more accommodating with any queries we had. It felt so much more a home rather than a holiday let. Would love to return for longer next time.
My daughter and I stayed at this property in June, 2019. The home is well decorated and comfortable, very representative of the Cave Creek community. The shower in the master bath is wonderful! The kitchen is well equipped and beautiful! We enjoyed using the community pool and most days had it to ourselves. The community is quiet, but neighbors were friendly.
Our main issues with our stay could have easily been avoided. First, there were very few check-in details from the owner. A simple "welcome" sheet detailing wifi password, how to access the garage, information about the security and the Amazon Alexa, garbage schedule, etc., could have easily been detailed instead of having to reach out to the owner each time. The drawer we were directed to in order to find the garage opener, the gate clicker, and keys was a junk drawer, and it was difficult to find what we were looking for. The garage door opener in the drawer didn't work, we never found a gate clicker, and four days into our stay, we finally had to find the combo lock outside to get a key to the house to access the garage. The combo lock was on the gas meter nestled in some overgrown cactus. I felt like we were on a scavenger hunt for things that could have been easily organized. A system for checking in and check out would ensure that items needed for the next guest were returned and easily accessible.
Which leads us to the outside. The photos of the courtyard in the listing did not match what we found. The courtyard, whether an association issue or the homeowner's responsibility, had not been maintained. There was melted candle wax everywhere! An old bathroom cabinet from the renovation had been dumped out there. A decorative ladder had fallen across one of the patio doors. There was no table like in the photos, and leaves and debris were everywhere, especially on the steps we used everyday. Even though the weather was comfortable for June in Arizona, we didn't use the courtyard at all. It was a disappointment.
With more attention to detail, this property could really be special.
