Great memories from the Lake House family

This recently remodeled home is located less than 5 minutes from the famous Hells Gate a very popular swimming area assessable only by boat at PK lake. Many anchor their boats inside the cove. The house sits on 1 acre and is 30 ft from the waters edge. With just one step down to the water a new large dock is available for swimming, diving and fishing. The house is accommodated wi-fi and Dish for viewing TV. The kitchen has all new appliances while the bedrooms and baths have been completely updated. The smoker/ barbeque is available for cooking your favorite summertime meal. This property is great for families and there is plenty of room inside and out. This house has made many family memories and we hope it will for you. The location is just minutes from the Cliffs golf resort where you can play a round or sit and enjoy the view overlooking the lake. The Rocker B Ranch/Venue is approximately 20/30 minutes away. Rocker B is a premier venue for weddings, baseball tournaments, and corporate events. Come sit on the back patio and enjoy a consistent South breeze with a beautiful West Texas sunset. Oh and with your favorite beverage.

Great weekend at the lake!

I have rented this home 1 to 2 times a year for the last 4 years! My family and I always have a wonderful time! The owners are extremely nice and easy to work with. It’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy the lake and is always very clean. I hope to continue to rent here in years to come.

Great Stay with Friends!

Met our friends to tour the lake and hang out together. Incredible stay!! This property is definitely a 10 from the home, location and space, to the dock, boating, swimming and relaxing. I don't know if we could have found a better place. Very close t everything. We brought our boat and was able to tie very easily to the dock with their tying system. The waves did get rough on the weekend as other reviews stated, but our pontoon did fine. We had a great time and will definitely be back to stay again.

2nd time staying here

This house and the owner are great all around. The location is perfectly situated on the lake, and has a very close private ramp. We will continue to look for this listing on our annual PK trips.

Making memories at a beautiful lake home

This is our second stay and we enjoyed it as much as our first time. It was our annual family trip to include 6 adults and 4 teenagers. Upon arrival we had a few concerns, however, the owner was quick to remedy the issues and all was well! We fished, tubed, visited Hell’s Gate, took boat rides, watched the beautiful sunsets from the patio, and played corn hole in the yard overlooking Possum Kingdom Lake. We love that we can dock our boat right there at the house. We will be back because it has all we need for a perfect family vacation.

Nice Location

Great location that is in a prime spot on PK. The water at the home's dock can get rough based on location and recommend pulling boat out of water on weekends and busy days. The boat ramp is close and convenient.

Thirst Visit was Exquisite!

While temperatures were over 107 daily being on the lake with a breeze helped. The fish were biting and the A/C kept us comfortable. We really enjoying going back to this home. Would be great for families!

Outstanding Lake House

Beautiful house right on the lake!! Has great, comfy beds for everyone!! Grandkids loved swimming off the dock & fishing!! Kitchen is well equipped for cooking, so nice!! They also had games, books, and a puzzle. Special room for kids to watch movies on dvd, also a rocking chair in that room was great, for rocking our 8 month grandbaby!! This house was exceptional!! Immacuately cleaned, so very nice!! Oh, and it was 109 both days we were there, and the AC was already pre programed, and we stayed so comfortable, in fact 2 of us wore our sweater....haha. That says alot about how comfortable it was in the heat!!! AC was amazing!! The owner is awesome to work with!! This was our 2nd time staying here, and hopefully we can get it again next year!!

Sun & Fun for everyone in the family

We lived this house! The location is amazing and having a dock with a diving board, ladder, and the availability to tie the boat to the docks was so convenient. The water can be rough at the dock but we knew that because of the house description so took several buoys and boat ties. The boat ramp was just around the corner so very easy unload and load. The house is spacious with the 4 bedrooms and has an open floor plan in the living room/dining/kitchen areas so we can all be together for meals, games, and visiting. We had a fantastic time and will book again.

Perfect location, beautiful views.

We have stayed at this cabin multiple times over the past few years and love it each time. The yard is beautifully manicured, the porch is perfect for enjoying the views and the cabin is nicely decorated, clean and well maintained. We had a slight issue with the AC, but contacted Steve on his cell and he had the technician out in less than 45 min. and he took care of it. Steve has always been accommodating and quick to respond to any questions.

Hi, I'm Steve Frank. My brother Tom and I own the property here on Possum Kingdom Lake. We both grew up in the DFW area. I'm retired and Tom still works. I'm married with two children and three grandkids. Tom is married with four children and two grandchildren We all love the lake for family get togethers.

Why they chose this property

This property has been a great place to spend our summers. This lake has offered so much to us through the years from swimming, water skiing, fishing and scuba diving. Taking evening walks to watch the deer. They can and will come into the property to eat the grass. This is a great area to come and relax or have a lot of fun.

What makes this property unique

The home has been in our family for many years. We enjoy the open concept of the house and large yard for the kids. It's right on the water making it great for swimming and fishing off the dock. The patio over looking the water usually has a breeze which makes it nice for relaxing any time of day
