This beautiful, rural style, villa is located near Dubrovnik airport, in quiet village of Mocici. With airport a minute away, beach 5 minutes drive away, this villa provides peace and rest to its guests, just a step away from all major locations.
Villa consists of 3 bedrooms, 3 toilets, spacious living room and kitchen and big garden with swimming pool.
Each room has smart tv and it´s air conditioned.
Main entrance is from a private parking on north side of the villa. Once you enter downstairs is living room, kitchen and exit to garden with swimming pool. Living room, dining room and kitchen occupy entire ground floor. Kitchen is fully equipped with all the devices needed. Oven, 4 ring stove, microvave, dish-washer...,basically everything you need. Property is fenced so you have full privacy. Garden is facing south and sun is shining all day long. Around the pool there is enough space for chairs. Pool has also jetted tub installed.
All of the bedrooms are upstairs. All bedrooms have doublebeds. All are facing south, and the room on the right has a beautiful terrace.
There are 3 toilets inside the house, 2 in bedrooms and one downstairs.
This villa is located in Konavle. Konavle is reminiscent of Tuscany, with it's rolling green hills, speckled with traditional little villages. Visit local restaurants in the valley that serve meat specials and trouts, or go to Cavtat(5 minutes drive) and enjoy seafood. There are all sorts of daytime acctivites in Konavle like horse riding, atv safari, jeep safari, wine tasting, traditional dances show each sunday, water sports in Cavtat...
An easy drive is Dubrovnik, and you can enjoy its history and entertainment, a number of ferries depart from there to nearby islands, as well as the National park, on the Island of Mljet.
Montenegro border is 10 minutes drive away and we suggest visiting bay of Kotor.

The host & family were absolutely fantastic, they went above and beyond our expectations, and we can't thank them enough! They even picked us up from the airport in the middle of the night! The villa itself is absolutely stunning, perfect location, immaculate inside and out! The pool was heated nicely, and made all the difference. We really appreciated the welcome snacks! Highly recommended by us all - thank you Lucijana!

Fabulous villa & hospitality

Lovely villa conveniently located for the airport; supermarket + restaurant within 5 min walk. Cavtat is approx. 10min drive away which has numerous restaurants and a lovely atmosphere. Wonderful hospitality showed not only during our stay, but throughout both the booking process as it was unclear we would be able to travel. The owners genuinely care about their guests and we would certainly recommend this villa.

Fantastic stay in a beautiful area!

From booking to arrival, Lucijana made everything easy and still made sure we were met at the villa (with two lovely boards of meze) even though we were delayed and it was 11pm. The villa is just stunning. The beds were comfy and everything was spotless. The outside area is beautiful with lots of lovely places to sit and relax. You can walk up to the supermarket in a couple of minutes (which is very well stocked with everything you need at reasonable prices) and its a 5 minute taxi ride to Cavtat which is stunning with lots of restaurant and bars. You can get a boat from here to the Islands or to Dubrovnik. When you add in the fact that its literally 2 minutes from the airport (but not too noisy as I feared!!) it makes it a super convenient spot. We will be back!

Perfect holiday villa.

The villa is lovely with a great outside area and several seating areas. We were welcomed with complimentary cheese and wine, which was fantastic! Delicious fresh figs were also delivered by the owners. The owners couldn't do enough for us, making sure our stay was as peaceful and relaxing as possible. The villa is right next to the airport, perfect for us because people had different arrivals times but it did not feel as though you were as close as you are. It's an easy drive or taxi into beautiful Cavtat and Dubrovnik and there is a little pizzeria and supermarket within a five minute walk. We were so happy with our stay - no negative points about the whole experience!

Beautiful villa with rustic charm in a countryside location.

From the moment that we arrived, it was clear that the Brautovic family are experienced in the art of hospitality. Prior to our holiday, communication was prompt, efficient and helpful. On arrival, a welcome platter of fresh food for our first evening was greatly appreciated. This was followed beautifully presented baskets of home grown fruit and vegetables throughout our stay. The villa itself is spotless, the rooms well decorated and spacious and its homely, rustic charm makes it a perfect setting for a relaxing and comfortable holiday in a countryside location. The 'Domestico' restaurant is conveniently located just a few minutes walk away. The food and service are excellent, the menu is reasonably priced and the food is of an exceptionally high standard. We hired a car and visited Dubrovnik, nearby Cavtat, the Trsteno Arboretum , Molunat and Sokol Grad. We also took the ferry to Lokrum Island, which is well worth a visit too. We would highly recommend 'Villa Nina' - You will certainly not be disappointed! We have stayed in several villas and this one is without a doubt a firm favourite. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Great stay

Lovely house. Hosts very friendly and helpful. You do need a car or as we did we used Uber which actually worked out much cheaper and easier when you travel to the likes of old Dubrovnik

Wonderful villa and owners

Enjoyed a week here (May 19). The villa is wonderful, in a quiet part of town but a great base to explore Dubrovnik/Catvat/Croatia, exactly what we wanted! The owners were very helpful and provided some great information like a car hire contact. My family are already discussing our return.

Beautiful villa well situated for access to Dubrovnik Old Town.

We loved our stay at Vila Nina in October 2018. Despite being late in the season the weather was great & the fantastic pool was warm enough for us to enjoy every day. The owners are very accommodating & cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable, they even brought us several boxes of fruit & veg from their small farm next door. The villa itself is only 5 minutes from the airport but any aircraft noise is not intrusive. We are a family of four but the villa could easily accommodate six people. The garden is very pleasant & well kept with several seating areas. Inside the villa is finished & equipped to a very high standard, & immaculately clean. There is a small supermarket & restaurant within walking distance but not much else, a hire car is pretty much essential. Cavtat is only 10 minutes drive away & is a really beautiful town with several small beaches & loads of bars & restaurants. Dubrovnik is also best reached by boat-trip from Cavtat. I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to family & friends.

Lovely Villa, lovely people.

We (six of us) thoroughly enjoyed our week at Villa Nina and could not be made more welcome by the Brautovic family. There was lots to do : walking to Cilipi or Cavtat, boat to Dubrovnic (avoid cruise ship days though !), driving to Sokol Grad or Molunat. The local supermarket and restaurant nearby make it so easy to enjoy, relax and spend time around the villa too. Highly recommended.

Superb In Every Way!

If you think the photos are stunning, the reality far exceeds them. This hidden gem is perfect in every way. Spotlessly clean, well thought out, spacious and surrounded by beautiful views while still being close to civilization. Dulio and is family deserve every credit for maintaining their high standards and for being friendly, helpful and non intrusive whilst still living next door. We were supplied with regular top ups of fresh fruit and veg from their small holding and were welcomed with platters of local meze and wine as well! The villa is well placed for trips to Dubrovnik and the charming little harbour town of Cavtata. Even the supermarket (well stocked and friendly) is within walking distance and there is a fabulous restaurant at the same location. All in all the best villa we have ever rented and we have rented plenty! Thanks once again.

Beautiful villa lovely owners relaxing holiday

The villa was just as beautiful as the photos, if not more so. It was a lovely place to relax but also really convenient for exploring the area and within walking distance of a supermarket and one of the best restaurants we experienced during our holiday (Domestico). The pool is great and was always a nice temperature and we loved being able to BBQ and enjoy eating outside. The family were, wonderfully welcoming and generous, providing fresh fruit and vegetables during our stay. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone.

Amazing Villa and a Fantastic Family

After probably the worst airport experience ever including an 11 hour delay for a flight that was then cancelled and losing 2 days of our holiday could this villa that looks amazing in the photos and reading past reviews really be that good??? Yes it was, and even better. Stunning villa and a Fantastic family who were very welcoming and generous. The villa is pretty much perfect and has everything catered for. The location is great for the airport plus local shop and great little restaurant. Lucijana answered every query promptly from point of booking right up to communication when we were at the airport on our way home. We had fresh food and cold wine and beer waiting for us on our arrival which was great. Dulio was also a great guy and even cooked us a fantastic lunch on the second afternoon. He also even got a cake made for my son who’s 7th birthday it was while we were there which made it feel like we were friends and not just paying guests. Yes we would love to return and I am pretty confident you will not find a better villa or hosts in Croatia. Hopefully we will return one day. Thanks

One of the best holidays we've ever had, Villa Nina is everything and more!

This was our first time in Croatia but certainly won't be our last. After a rather eventual arrival, our pilot had to abort his landing in Dubrovnik Airport due to the bura which is a wind which comes off the adriatic sea, and we ended up landing in Zadar airport and having to get a coach which the airline organised to Dubrovnik airport. The journey was long and took over 5 hours. By the time we arrived at Villa Nina we were all exhausted, we were travelling with my husband, mother, father and our 3 daughters aged, 18, 12 and 6. A very welcoming and kind surprise awaited us from Dulio and his family, some lovely freshly prepared food, and wine and some other essentials in the fridge. An absolute dream after our long journey. From there on we had the most fantastic holiday. Dulio and his family are welcoming, friendly and overall just lovely people. They often delivered to our back gate fresh fruit and vegetable from their farm. The strawberries, oranges and pomegranates were the best we had ever tasted. The villa is beautiful and was built by Dulio himself, the garden and pool area are immaculate and our daughters loved the swing in the outdoor snug area. There is a lovely restaurant within walking distance called Domestico which we ate at a few times and enjoyed the food, wine and service there every time. We hired cars, which again Dulio arranged and they came to the house, so it was no trouble, the local company were called Bingo. The cars were great for going into Dubrovnik and along the coast to many of the other villages well worth a visit, Cavtat, Cilipi and the beach at Popovici. As a family we have stayed in many villas in Tenerife, Portugal and beyond but this one was up there with the very best and with the added bonus of the most friendly hosts we have ever encountered. Croatia has it all, scenery, culture, good food, wine, beaches. Will we be back? most certainly, although I fear this villa is going to get so popular, so I think we shall have to book far in advance. Thanks again Dulio, Nina, Lucjiana and family, you gave us a holiday we shall remember forever xx

Believe everything you read

This is a brilliant place to stay. On reading the previous reviews, we wondered if it could be as good as what previous guests have reported. The answer is yes. A very relaxing location, easily accessible to Cavtat where you can park all day and get to Dubrovnik by ferry or the excellent local bus service. There are great local walking tracks as well to Cavtat or to Cilipi - so it is not all about beaches. The Brautolovic family could not have been more helpful or generous. The family have been on this land for over 500 years and all members of their family could not have made us feel more welcome. They were always accessible - with a fantastic welcome pack of fresh food followed up with plentiful fresh fruit and vegetables from the family garden. Some of the best strawberries we have ever had. Thank you to Dulio and family, we had a wonderful time.

Gorgeous villa and a wonderful, friendly family!!

The villa is as gorgeous as it looks in the photos. Met Dulio, his wife Nina, and their daughter Lucijana as well as other members of the family, who couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was wonderful. The villa is clean, all the facilities worked as expected, and the welcome pack of milk, water, fruit juice, platter of cold meats & cheese etc. in the fridge was a really nice touch. Even better was the regular supply of grapes and green figs delivered by the family during the course of our stay. The pool could maybe do with some heating!! we thought that our end of the summer season visit would have been enough to heat the water, but apparently not. Despite that, the pool was clean, and the adjoining Jacuzzi meant we could still enjoy once we got used to the water temperature. There were 5 adults in our party, two couples, with one couple's 20 year old son, and there was ample room in the villa for everyone to have their own chill out space. The basket chair that hangs in the separate seating area was very popular, so we had to book out time slots to sit in it!!! Very relaxing. Overall, would highly recommend to anyone considering, less than 2Km from Dubrovnik airport, and only a short drive to Cavtat, housing many restaurants, and the ferry service to Dubrovnik Old Town, much easier and more fun than driving to and parking in Dubrovnik. The local supermarket had all we needed, and the Domestico restaurant behind had a varied menu, good value, we ate there several times for lunch and dinner. Can't thank the Brautovic family enough for our great stay!!

Beautiful villa in lovely countryside!

We had a fantastic time in this wonderful villa near the beautiful town of Cavtat. It had a great pool and lots of outside space. The villa was clean, bright & airy. The owners even provided us with a welcome pack of food & drinks. Later on they brought us fruit & vegetables.

Absolutely perfect!

Thank you so much to the whole family for letting us stay at your beautiful villa and for your amazing hospitality - the goodies from the garden were so delicious! We have had several villa holidays and this has been the best villa by far. The villa itself is gorgeous with fabulous facilities. The garden is idyllic and the setting is beautiful. We enjoyed having a supermarket within walking distance - they had almost everything you could need and lovely fresh baked goods. The new restaurant near the supermarket was also well worth a visit. The local resort of Cavtat is very picturesque - a nice mix of restaurants but not too commercial. We hired kayaks from Sea Kayak Cavtat which we would really recommend - we all had a great day. The children also had a great time playing on the inflatables in the sea in Cavtat. We can't recommend this villa highly enough. We had a wonderful, memorable week!

Outstanding!!

Villa Nina was the perfect accomodation for our family vacation. Immaculately clean, and well equipped, our house had everything we needed for our 8 day stay. Lucijana, Dulio and family were wonderful hosts and the delivery of fresh fruits and vegetables from their garden was a very well received gift. A close drive to the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik and a very close to the very quaint village of Cavtat. Our expectations were high before coming but they were exceeded with our actual experience. We will definitely recommend this villa to any of our friends coming to Croatia.
