Luxury lake home & PONTOON RENTAL in a beautiful, quiet wooded setting. Perfect for family getaways, family reunions, holidays, corporate retreats, etc. Cozy private log cabin for two on site as well. Sand beach with hard sandy bottom lake for good swimming, boating & good fishing. Deer & wild turkeys frequently visit. Huge kitchen, pantry & dining room with large table for 12 & counter seating for 6. Fire pit. 2 large decks, gas grill & 4 picnic tables. 3 -65" smart TV's. Dock & 22' PONTOON BOAT FOR ADDITIONAL RENTAL FEE. Pets welcome. Great golf courses nearby.

Time to make lasting memories! Total privacy on a crystal clear, spring fed lake. The lakes name says it all; Silent Lake. A peaceful place to unwind and to relax in a very natural setting. This lovely lake home and yard is exactly what we all imagine northern Minnesota to be all about, even making smore's on the fire on a starlit summer night!

All new bed sheets, bed covers, blankets, pillows, bath towels, beach towels and kitchen dish rags and drying dish towels (don't worry, there is a dishwasher!) have been bought for this coming summer season.

Lawn chairs provided. Life vests for swimming or boating provided. Tons of water toys and yard games as well.

There is a large pantry to keep all of your groceries.

There is a large refrigerator in the kitchen and a second refrigerator in the garage for melons, meat, fish, wine, beer and even bait.

Great place to stay
Very private and quiet. All 12 adults and 3 little ones had a place to sleep and found plenty to do in sunshine and rain. One young couple stayed in the cabin, saying it was comfortable. All amenities were a nice addition and very useful. We highly recommend this rental. The owner and caretaker are very nice and easy to work with.

Wonderful stay
We returned for a second year. Our contact with owner and caretaker, Dan and Dave, was very satisfactory. We appreciated the new fire pit and the pavers that were installed during off season. Family found place to be roomy for 19 of us to play games, dance, swim, take hikes, and just hang out and enjoy being together.

Beautiful view quiet family fun
Perfect amount of space for our family. Plenty of bedrooms and comfortable beds! Lake is quiet and relaxing area. Clean! The only disappointment was that it said satellite/cable TV and there wasn’t that service. The frig in the garage wasn’t working well. We did enjoy the campfire experience as well as the lake. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home!

Great property for a family to enjoy! Ample sleeping/bedroom spaces, 8 bedrooms and optional pullout in office made for privacy at night and wonderful kitchen/dining room that can seat 18 for togetherness at meal time. Quiet and scenic lake with sand bottom beach and large pontoon for cruising the water! Highly recommended!

“Up-North” at its Finest
Our stay was simply the BEST! Location, location, location. The convenience of the “beach” and the water was the main attraction. A true “up-north” get-a-way. Great space, king beds everywhere, yet very cozy for our group … it’s our new favorite. We had a blast!!

This was a great place for our extended family of 19 to stay. Beds enough for all, space for people to be together for arts and crafts, conversations, quiet reading, game playing without interfering with one another, beautiful clean lake, pantry to store all the food we brought, responsive caretaker, two refrigerators that we filled were some of the things we appreciated. Looking forward to returning.

Perfect spot for a family gathering
We just completed our second annual stay on East Silent Lake for our family of 14, raging in age from four to seventy-one, and there is truly something for everyone at this lovely property: fishing, tubing, pontooning, kayaking, board games, movies and just sitting back to relax on the deck! Sleeping accommodations on 3 floors with comfortable king-sized beds allows plenty of room to spread out and enjoy some privacy. The large kitchen, pantry and dining area make gathering for mealtime easy and enjoyable. The property owners are very responsive to questions and provide easy to follow guidance for enjoying the property. Our family loves this place and we hope to return again next year!

Perfect family getaway
This was the most perfect house for our family to stand to celebrate Christmas. Many adults and many children and we never felt the space was too Small. A beautiful overlook of the quiet lake and a private location. This is the perfect location if you have a big group! And the house is incredibly beautiful!

Large family gathering
Our family of 17, ranging in age from 3-70, enjoyed a wonderful week at this property. The children played in the water and caught fish off the dock. The large kitchen and dining area made meal prep so easy. There was plenty of storage space for groceries and beverages. We especially were grateful for the sleeping accommodations: 10 bedrooms with comfortable king-sized beds meant we could all get a good night's sleep. We enjoyed yard games, s'mores around the fire pit, swimming each day. All of our children and grandchildren were impressed and felt the property was "perfect" for our family get-together. We have already booked this location again for next year!

Great family accommodations. Well stocked kitchen and household supplies. The beach and dock area worked well for children playing/swimming, and access for docking boats. The owners were awesome about responding to all my questions prior to booking as well as during our preparation for our stay.

Wonderful Vacation
The house is beautiful and very well stocked. The owners are wonderful and always available if you have any concerns. They also have a very nice beach and swim area, the kids spent all their time down there. Hope to get back next year.

Felt like home
The house was the best alternative to a hotel for our group of family & friends that were in the area for a wedding. Everyone said we should come back sometime without a wedding, so we could just hang out the whole time at the property, plus enjoy the lake.

Fabulous Getaway
This is our group's second time staying at Dan & Iryna's lake home. The view looking out over the lake each morning was simply amazing. We had nine guys in our group and did not come even close to filling up the rooms and beds. Wonderful experience!

Family vacation
This is a wonderful property. Took our adult children and our grandchildren here for a family vacation. The house is beautiful and we had plenty of room for all of us. We were there in mid August and the lake was clear. The children spent lots of time in the water. Any questions we had were immediately addressed. I would highly recommend this property. Wonderfully quiet and uneventful
This is a beautiful older home on a quiet lake. Lots of room to create your own little space. A supersized kitchen table the was big enough for the whole party. (10 adults and 4 children.) The only thing that would have made it nicer was to control the bee population. It is the time of year for them but they were quite aggressive and plentiful. I would stay here again sometime!

Beautiful lake front property
Amazing property! Great communication with the property owners; check in was incredibly easy. Huge property is well set up for entertaining large groups. East silent lake is gorgeous and not overly busy and people out on the lake are very friendly. Out of all the vrbo/abnb rentals I had this was easily the most efficient set up I've seen.
