Fisherman's Paradise è una capanna di pesca accogliente e carina proprio sulla via navigabile intra-costiera a Bridge Harbor. Questa casa ti farà passare tutto il tuo tempo all'aperto con il suo ponte coperto, l'area in cemento sotto casa, il cortile erboso, lo stagno, l'altalena, il molo sull'acqua con luci da pesca subacquee, tavolo da picnic, pozzo per barbecue e molto altro ancora.

Svegliarsi la mattina e addormentarsi di notte al suono delle onde. Annusa lo spruzzo dell'oceano, osserva le onde che rotolano dentro e osserva la natura che ti circonda. Splendidi tramonti, pellicani marroni che si innalzano nel cielo e delfini che giocano tra le onde sono solo alcuni dei luoghi che rimarranno con te molto tempo dopo che sarai arrivato a casa e ti tireranno il cuore fino al tuo ritorno.

Spero sinceramente che ti piaccia la nostra dolce piccola comunità costiera che è stata fondata nel 1821 come "Vecchio Velasco". Puoi leggere qualcosa in più sulla nostra storia a The History of Old Velasco - Surfside Texas. Siamo su una piccola isola chiamata "Follett’s Island", siamo collegati a Galveston tramite il "San Luis Toll Bridge". Galveston è un breve tragitto in auto di 40 minuti lungo Bluewater Hwy.

Ti consigliamo di guidare il tuo veicolo in giro per la visita del sito. La nostra isola è lunga 14 miglia. In fondo troverete l'Isola del Tesoro / San Luis Pass, famosa per la pesca e il beachcombing. Dall'altra parte troverete la via navigabile del molo da dove entrano ed escono le più piccole barche da pesca per le più grandi navi mercantili e petroliere. È davvero divertente da guardare.

Relaxing

Quick and easy getaway. Home was clean and neighborhood was friendly. The beds were comfy. I brought a fan for the bedroom which was perfect. It helped circulate the air more. There are ceiling fans but we like more noise and airflow. Moved the upper and lower deck with a nice breeze. We could fish off the private pier. We could see several fireworks from our own patio. I kept the curtains closed during the day while we fished which made it nice and cool when we returned. The mornings had a beautiful Sunrise! I would stay again!

The potential is there.

I will start off by saying this house is really cute, and the fishing dock was amazing. We had a great time fishing, especially at night with the bright light they have in the water to attract the fish. Upon arriving we had a small issue getting into the house because they didn’t send the right access code. That was fixed pretty promptly and we were able to gain access without any other problems. The house is roomy. Huge living and kitchen area! The bedrooms are nice and everything seemed lovely. Here’s the bad — The bathroom was merely wiped down. The cleanliness subpar. The small shower had clearly not been scrubbed in some time. The grout was discolored, and the caulking was molded. The rug right outside the shower you could tell hadn’t been washed and underneath the floor was very damaged. When we stripped the beds on the morning of check out, the protective cover on the mattresses were very discolored in spots giving the indication that they too hadn’t been washed in some time, if ever. Same with the pillows. There were a few staple items I expected the house to provide that were not. There was no hand soap in the house that we were able to locate. There was only a tiny bit of dish soap left. When I say tiny, it was a few drops in a travel size container. There was no dishwashing detergent. There were only 2 rolls of toilet paper. No extra trash bags. There was a coffee maker, however the filters they had for it weren’t even the right ones. These were all things that I expected the house to provide. Especially the dish soap and detergent for the dishwasher since the check out instructions were to have the dishes clean and put away. The mattresses on the beds were by no means luxury. The a/c seemed to have a hard time keeping up and took well into the middle of the night to finally get to temp. But as soon as the sun came out, it was unable to stay at temp for the remainder of day. There were a few loose boards on the balcony that when you stepped, they were either soft from damage or just not nailed down and would try and come up. Over all, the house has the potential to be a really great house. It needs a deep clean! And better up keep. Especially for the price you’re paying to stay there. If these things I have listed were fixed, we would consider staying again because the neighborhood is great, and we loved being right on the canal and fishing.

This place is a real disappointment

The place is very outdates does not come closed to the pictures online. The front porch was very unsafe many loose boards, the only door in was a glass door that was very difficult to open. We couldn't hardly get in the house. The only shower was so small you couldn't hardling get in and I'm only 5'. No hand towels or wash cloth. We had to run to the nears store to purchase some along with bath towels the there were disgusting. And you forgot to mention that the only view you have in this place was gas and oil barges. Extremely disappointed completely ruin our anniversary. Louisa Stelly

At Beach Resort Services, we are more than just a vacation rental company—we are a small, family-owned and operated business with deep roots in Surfside Beach. Our story began in 1957, when our parents stopped in Surfside to fish after their honeymoon in Galveston. What started as a weekend getaway soon became a lifelong tradition, leading to summers spent here as a family before finally making Surfside our home in 1976.

In 1992, our mother and founder, Catherine, who had been managing properties with Brannan Realty since 1976, took over as property manager for 13 homeowners in need—and that’s how Beach Resort Services was born. Since then, we have continued to grow, but we have never lost sight of what makes us special—family, tradition, and a passion for helping others create unforgettable beach memories.

Today, Beach Resort Services is run by a dedicated team of three—Denise, Drew, and Hope—who work tirelessly to provide exceptional service, trustworthy management, and a personal touch to every guest and homeowner we serve.
