Place was clean and had everything we needed.
One thing - be prepared to climb a significant number of stairs unless you plan to drive everywhere. I enjoyed the workout but others may not.
The location is difficult to get to but once there the accommodations were very nice and the view was spectacular ❤️ For people with walking problems it’s very difficult to get to because there 4 separate sets of concrete steps that you must negotiate all down hill! If you have anything more than a hand carry you will need help especially leaving which is all uphill😳Luckily, the fellow who met us on arrival, Josepi, was a savior and took our luggage to the apartment and agreed to and did show up punctually on our departure to pack our luggage up the 4 sets of stairs to our vehicles😳 Prepare to give Josepi a large tip for this service if your not capable yourself🤙 Before I booked this accommodation I asked and was told there were only 25 steps, which was totally untrue! There are more like 75 steps to climb this very steeply located property. But aside from that, the Villa was beautifully maintained and the view was absolutely spectacular from all the balconies❤️ The bedrooms of which there are 3, and bathrooms which there are 2, were very nice and included monogramed towels which was a very nice touch! The electric stove top was very difficult to get to work and required Josepi to come back to get to work because of some safety issues that weren’t explained on check in! The appliances are very sparse and only a very small Mr Coffee machine with no supplied filters. So be prepared to bring everything you’d need for breakfast! Also, there’s very few restaurants near😳
Overall we enjoyed our stay. Property is as described and pictured. Views are beautiful. The villa is roomy with lots of outdoor spaces. The owner was very responsive. The location is not especially convenient, requiring car, taxi, or bus to get anywhere safely. (The roads are narrow and are not safe for pedestrians.) We did make one walking exception for a very good restaurant called Bacco. It was a two minute walk from the villa and was recommended by our owner. Be aware that the villa kitchen is not stocked with anything (outside of pots, pans, utensils, dishes), including coffee and paper towel. You will have to bring your own. Master shower could use a good scrubbing, otherwise everything was clean. Lastly, there are 80 stair-steps from the villa door up to the street.
The villa is just as described. The space is even larger than it looks, giving us plenty of room to spread out. The view is amazing. Be prepared to wait for the bus for awhile if you travel in summer.
We had a great stay at this villa. The team helped coordinate our arrival with our driver from Naples, recommended local favorites, and answered all our questions. There is an easy to reach bus stop within sight of the villa that travels into Amalfi. We also hiked down the long stair trail to the fjord and caught a different shuttle to Positano. This stair walk took longer than expected (30-45 mins) so would recommend the bus or Path of the Gods instead when we come back. The washer and dryer were helpful to freshen up in the middle of our tour across 4 regions of Italy. Grazie!
This property is in a stunning location, and the house itself is very nice with a huge kitchen and large bedrooms and baths. I do suggest that if you’re going to need groceries while there, get them on the way so you don’t have to go back out… those roads are treacherous! Also, if you have a problem with climbing steps, I would avoid booking here. There are over 85 steps to climb and with luggage it’s quite difficult.
Beautiful views from the many balconies. Very clean and comfortable. Rosa was a wonderful host. Very quick to respond to any questions we had. Busses very crowded and walking far is not practical so a car is suggested.
Wonderful rental property high on the hillside overlooking Amalfi coast. Both the rental owner and local person who met us for check-in were helpful and always available to respond. (expect to use WhatsApp in Italy as it seems to be their go-to text App). This 3 bedroom, 2 bath, rental is on one level of a larger property, that has shared gardens and a roof top patio. Stunning views. Within 10 minute drive of the trailhead of Path of the Gods and 200m (3 minute walk) from a very nice hillside vineyard. The property had a well equipped kitchen with gas stove and smart TV. We were a family of 4 (2 adult children), and the space was perfect for us. We were there in February, and there was a cold spell (+5C in day and -2C at night), so this typically Summer rental was a bit cool, but other than that, it was excellent. We can highly recommend.
This property lived up to every expectation and beyond. Very spacious, lots of seating, and spectacular views. Having a designated parking space off the road was a big plus. Our hosts were very kind and helpful. They welcomed us with a delicious bottle of wine. Our stay on the coast was incredible. We can’t wait to come back!
This place is awesome. The view is incredible and very private. It was clean and stocked fine. It is roomy with a large kitchen. The only thing is if you have difficulty with stairs and walking, there are a lot of stairs and the only business within a kilometer is one restaurant. Great place though.
The view from this property is breathtaking! The location is between Amalfi and Positano and is perfect for seeing the entire Amalfi coast. It is a bit tricky to find at first as you can’t see the property from the road. Gennaro was a great greeter and helped us during our stay in many ways!
The property was just perfect. The view was unbelievable. So quiet and spectacular. Ciro and Gennaro were so helpful and accommodating to help us navigate around as well as recommendations on restaurants which were all great. They arranged chauffeured taxi to take us to Sorrento for our Capri excursion and arranged to have us taken to the train station to get to Venice. We will definitely come back and stay here.
This was a lovely apartment with amazing views. The location was great. Easy parking. Very safe. Ciro and his caretaker were very accommodating and always available. Small grocery store nearby. Has everything you need. Definitely take advantage of the Italian breakfast offered because waking up and sitting on the patio while eating a warm croissant and sipping coffee was heavenly!
Great location for enjoying sea views. Plenty of space inside and out. We enjoyed having breakfast on the patio. The lights at night are beautiful. Good parking.
The villa was very spacious with plenty of room! It was nicely stocked, particularly in the kitchen! The views are spectacular and we even saw fireworks one evening! The location was ideal in between Amalfi and Positano! Initially we had a little trouble communicating with the manager of the property but the Owner was quick to respond and very considerate and rectified the situation right away! We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend! Thank you Ciro for your attention to detail and hospitality!
Couldn't have had a better time. The location was perfect. Traffic on the narrow roads can be a little tricky. Overall, it was great. Planning our next trip there!!
Amazing accommodation with awesome views, host and parking!
We’re so glad we found Luigi and Lidia’s VBRO! Nestled on the coast in Furore, it had everything we needed including yummy coffee and two Moka pots, beautiful gardens and modern conveniences incl. good WifI, AC, washer… We enjoyed opening up the windows to the breezes, and sitting on the porch during all times of the day to enjoy the Views. Most valuable were the tips that L&L shared on sites to see, parking, and restaurants. They were warm and welcoming and always ready to assist. Their parking spot, easy access to the flat (reasonable number of steps that we managed with roll aboard suitcases) were most appreciated. Don’t miss Ravello, the fjord of Furore, a day trip to Sorrento and Capri and tasting gelato often (limoncello and nocciola …our favorites!).
Of course, the view is spectacular! The villa had all the amenities we needed. Luigi was always available to answer our questions and direct us to places of interest. We all loved the place.
From the moment we arrived Luigi and Lydia were kind and generous with their time and advice.
In a nutshell -
The views from every window and out door space are breathtaking
The kitchen is well equipped, spacious and comfortable for a group of 6.
Two of the bedrooms are large, light and airy, the third is somewhat smaller (though still adequate) and has only a little natural light. However, it also has an ensuite bathroom which is large and light-filled.
The living room is light and spacious.
Outdoor spaces - there are several paved and grassed areas on which to sit, all of which have either chairs or loungers.
If you enjoy heights and want a place that is well serviced for restaurants and grocery stores and is really in the centre of all things Amalfi - book it!
We had an excellent stay with Luigi and Lidia. This is a very clean spacious and comfortable villa. Plenty of room for 5 adults, excellent kitchen for when we wanted home family meals, and great location halfway up the cliffs for access to Amalfi coast or heading back to Pompeii and Vesuvius.
For any not familiar with the driving, it is very twisty and narrow, a welcome easy parking spot was well appreciated.
Luigi and Lidia were also there when needed, very fast and understanding. We highly recommend this to you for your Amalfi exoerience, amazing views and exceptional weather for December!
