¡NUEVO! Cascade Bay Overlook es una maravillosa casa estilo cabaña ubicada a corta distancia del mundialmente famoso Rosario Resort. Camine o conduzca hasta el Resort para disfrutar de todos los servicios que están disponibles para los visitantes de la isla Orcas. Tómese una tarde en el restaurante Marina, o visite el pub o incluso el elegante restaurante Mansion.

Pero la verdadera diversión está en la cubierta de esta maravillosa casa de campo. Disfrute de las vistas del puerto de abajo, las sillas de la sala de estar, la mesa de comedor exterior, el nuevo Weber BBQ de tres quemadores y ¿dijimos la vista? La cubierta está orientada hacia el sur, lo que significa que está en sol la mayor parte del día para su disfrute al aire libre. Por dentro no se siente mucho por dentro, debido a la pared de enormes ventanas que encierran el lado sur de esta casa. Hay literalmente una vista desde toda la gran sala que incluye la elegante cocina, el área de comedor para siete personas y el área de estar para ver televisión de alta definición o una animada discusión sentado en los cómodos sofás y sillas.

Hay dos habitaciones queen en la planta baja, cada una con maravillosos colchones y ropa de cama Simmons Black que te harán sentir mimado. También hay una habitación pequeña con una cama doble para esa persona adicional que siempre viene en unas vacaciones en la isla de las Orcas. La escalera de caracol te llevará arriba a un dormitorio tipo loft abierto a la gran sala, pero lo suficientemente cerrado como para que se sienta cómodo. Y aquí es donde se encuentra la cómoda cama king. Aquí hay incluso una pequeña baraja en esta área para escribir tu novela.

Orcas Island Sanctuary

This is a beautiful house with spectacular views. The bedrooms are comfortable and the living area is spacious. The kitchen has everything you need. Highly recommend.

Small but clean with wonderful view of Eastsound. The listing needs to be edited, there is neither a king bed nor a sleeper sofa. But nice place.

Postcard View

Gorgeous house with vaulted ceiling and a full wall of picture window looking out on bay and beyond. Super comfortable both indoors and outdoors on deck. For a relaxing time this is your place. Just 10 minutes from town and almost on top of Moran State Park with excellent hiking opportunities for all levels.

Orcas stay

Patio was nice, lots of furniture to relax on, view was almost as nice as the picture, though there was a house in front and some tree that blocks some of the view. Remaining of the house was good for a short stay. Very close to Moran state park.

5 day stay

We enjoyed our stay! The view was gorgeous and we loved sitting on the back deck. The BBQ was perfect to make dinner a couple of nights. The location near Moran State Park and being just 10 minutes from town was great too. The space was comfortable and clean. We would go back again!

Cozy with a lovely view

We stayed at this home during my race, the Orcas Island 100. It was the home base for my family while they crewed me around Moran State Park, so the location was excellent. Perfect little kitchen for cooking up meals, and a great deck for enjoying the view and running around to get wiggles out. Comfortable beds and nice amenities! Thank you for the gifts! I think the only feedback I have is that the spiral staircase that was chained off and off limits to guests (leading up to the loft) was an absolute magnet to my kids aged 9 and 11. The staircase is smack in the middle of the house and is like a beacon for climbing. It was a hassle trying to keep them off and I spent a good amount of time lecturing them about respecting property, and I have good kids. All they wanted to do was climb the stairs, sit down on the stairs, have a perch…. If I know kids, I’m certain other families had to deal with this too. If you could brainstorm this, it would be easier on your guests….

Nice view of Eastsound

Quiet place with nice views of the Eastsound. It was nice to sit on the deck and a grill was available. Right outside Moran State Park so close to hiking and close to the town of Eastsound.

Great view

The view was amazing! We came for an event at Rosario Resort and wanted to be within walking distance. The home seems to be a little older, but the layout worked well for us. The deck is very nice, too.

Texas gals seek island adventures

This vacation rental does not disappoint! Very clean, nice, spacious and well appointed. The sleeping accommodations were comfortable and made for a great night’s sleep. The kitchen has everything to cook a variety of meals that any chef would appreciate. Location is great with gorgeous views of the bay through the treetops. Plenty to do nearby with quick access to dining, shopping, water sports and hiking trails.

Heaven on Earth!

The location of this property is fantastic. The pictures do not do it justice. Yes, there were other homes within view, but there was no one in them and the setting was so peaceful and serene. We saw wildlife right in the backyard each evening! The proximity to Moran State Park and Eastsound was wonderful. Orca's Island enchanted us, and we can not wait to return! Oh, and be sure to take a whale-watching tour! We used San Juan Excursions out of Friday Harbor and saw ORCAS!

Beautiful spot in Orcas

The house is nicely located, arrival and check-in instructions were great. The property was clean and well-appointed with a really nice and large deck outside. We enjoyed deer and birds in the backyard and the place is very close to both Rosario resort and Eastsound.

Highly recommend!

Amazing spot to rest and recharge. South facing with incredible views and solitude. Very quiet, very clean, minutes away from a variety of recreational opportunities. Definitely coming back!

Birthday week adventure

It was our daughters birthday week and we selected this property because none of us have been on orcas Island before. When we arrived at the property in Rosario we were all delightfully surprised at the cleanliness, view, comfort afforded us at this lovely Property. Our daughter and husband and Me and mine totally enjoyed this home and said that we would love to come back to orcas again and stay at the same property. And we were only 1 mile from the entrance to Moran State Park. So convenient yes so private.

Loved Our Stay!

We loved our stay! The house was bright, clean, and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped. Nice, big dining table that comfortably seats 7. Beds/bedding were comfy. But my favorite part is the spectacular view of the bay from the living room and porch! Location is great. Less than half an hour from the ferry and right next to Moran State Park and Mount Consitution. Great hiking within a mile of the place. We also rented e-assist bikes in Eastsound, saw a pod of Orcas on our kayak excursion, and ate and drank well at some the many wineries and eateries on the island. It was our first visit to Orcas Island and we all agreed we'll be back. Would not hesitate to book this same place. Checkin/checkout was easy. Highly recommend!

A wonderful week on Orcas

The house is lovely with these notes.. We were sorry there was so little headroom in the upstairs bedroom. We had not been prepared for that and had several head bumps. We also missed having a dishwasher. The stairs also produced some head bumps and a toe cut under the lowest stair step. The driveway was very steep and exiting into the road was tricky.

Scenic Retreat

The house provided a convenient location for exploring Moran State Park, shopping in East Sound, and for a whale watching excursion. The deck provided a quiet platform for bird and deer watching while overlooking the Sound. The kitchen was well-equipped for impromptu meals and the dining table provided the space for eating, conversations, and puzzles. The only problems we encountered were with (1) the spiral staircase to the upper bedroom (bumped heads and an unfortunate tumble on the way to the bathroom) and (2) temperature control (the thermostats weren't working during an unusually warm evening). Overall, we were very pleased with the location and accomodation.

Family Memorial Day trip

Northwest Island Escapes was wonderful! They communicated very openly and frequently about all the details of the rental, check in and check out process and expectations. The house was lovely as advertised and in a perfect location! The view was outstanding. Upstairs bedroom gets hot but they provided a big fan and the weather was mild during our visit. One full bath worked fine for our group of 6 adults, and helpful to have two toilets. The upstairs bedroom does not have a door and has an intense spiral staircase so be warned! The kitchen was perfect for our needs. The outside deck is AMAZING and the views are breathtaking. We grilled out and enjoyed apps on the deck! Would highly recommend for 4-6 people. Steep driveway but easy parking once you get down to the house. Check in and check out seamless!

Lovely and quiet

We rented this for mother’s day weekend with my in-laws and it was just perfect. The view is incredible, the area is quiet and tucked away, the house was perfect! We loved it and would definitely rent it again.
