Plentiful views offers more than what the title says. Not only is this home nestled down a private drive surrounded by fields and the beautiful Lake Anna but there is plenty to do. You can enjoy relaxing on either of the 2 indoor/outdoor living areas which offer many places to sit and relax. You can also enjoy the private dock to sunbath or swim. It is conveniently located near many attractions. This property is located 1 mile from The Cove, a popular restaurant, bar, convenient store and marina. You can use this place to launch your own boat if you have one or rent a boat if you don't. It is also located just a few miles away from Lake Anna State Park and Lake Anna winery. It is 1 hour from historic Charlottesville, 45 minutes from historic Fredericksburg, 2 hours from Washington DC, 2 hours from Virginia Beach. It is also close to many historic civial war parks.

Beautiful Property

Overall the property was beautiful. Just a couple of issues...ice maker not working, back doors didn't lock, significant amount of dead bugs on back porches and cob webs when we arrived which is why I gave cleanliness a 4 star rating. Also, we wanted to double check everything and could not reenter the house. The code had changed before 10:00 a.m. departure time.

Lake Anna Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous property and look forward to returning. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable time, to include the thoughtful gesture of a gift basket full of yummy goodies and a bottle of wine. Truly an amazing experience!

Lots of swimming

This house was great for our family getaway (with 3 kids, ages 5-9). The kids jumped right off the dock into the lake and we were not worried about boats or jet skis flying by since we had a private cove.

Gorgeous home with everything you need

This is just a lovely house. There is lots of outdoor space to relax in, with comfy furniture, ceiling fans and beautiful plants, including a lovely flowering tree that the hummingbirds visit every day. There's lots of lawn available for frisbee or other games. Inside is very thoughtfully decorated and looks very recently remodeled, with plants and art, a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need for full dinners and entertaining, spacious bathrooms and bedrooms, and comfortable beds. Also strong a/c and water pressure. Really just great.

Awesome house

This property is a great vacation getaway! The description and photos accurately describe the house and it’s amenities. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The home was exceptionally clean and well stocked. The provided linens and towels were appreciated too! The owners were quick to respond. We hope to rent this house again in the future!

Beautiful house, relaxing week

This house was very clean and had all the items needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well stocked with all the items needed to cook. The linens were provided as was shampoo etc. We had a great time using the canoe and spent a lot of time in the water. We also spent many late afternoons and evenings playing games, reading or just relaxing on the huge upper porch. This house is a gem and we will definitely stay here again.

Perfect Spot

This was an absolute gem of a property. You walk out the door onto the dock and the lake. We were there in Mid May and although the water was still chilly, I was able to swim each day right off the dock. The house was absolutely beautiful in side and the 4 bedrooms were well set up to offer privacy in each room. There was everything you could need - bathroom supplies, kitchen supplies, towels, linens, kayak, canoe . The landscaping around the home was so beautiful! The little Cove restaurant less than a half mile away was good as was the other restaurant recommendations from the host. The host was so responsive to every email and question and provided a unique , pleasant stay!

The BEST!

This is our second time staying at Plentiful Views and it has become the foundation for some wonderful family memories. Such a relaxing atmosphere and property...location is fantastic and space galore! If I could say one thing as a matter of personal preference of style, it would be that there is too much furniture. A few subtle take aways would just give a little more peace to the space...but nothing detracts from it being a 5 star experience!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place and will return...again

Bliss on Lake

Lovely lakefront home on sheltered cove. Great kitchen for cooking plus attractive grilling area. We brought two kayaks with us (one on property), and really enjoyed lake. Also rented a Pontoon boat from nice folks at Shipwreck. Lots of nearby wineries, breweries and distilleries for touring/tastings.

Great place on the lake.

Wonderful property with pretty views of a quiet portion of the lake. Nice and close to a marina with a good restaurant and not too far from ‘Moo Thru’ the kids favorite place for ice cream. The owners were very helpful and gracious hosts.

Lush, Private and Wonderful!

Our family had a fantastic 5-night stay in this immaculate property. The owners' pride and care of the house and yard is apparent throughout. The landscaping and plantings outside attract birds and butterflies, and the deep-water dock was perfect for swimming and mooring our rental pontoon. The house itself is meticulously maintained and beautifully decorated. The views from the amazing deck and patio are not to be missed. We couldn't decide if our favorite view was the lake or the rolling farmland surrounding the property. We can't speak highly enough of this great spot on Lake Anna and we definitely plan to return!

Birthday Celebration at the Lake

Overall the property was very nice with a great view of the lake. There is way to much furniture outside which made the space seem cluttered. We had the ability to dock a pontoon boat at the dock included with the property. The main concern I had was that there there were mutiple wasp nests on the property and on the physical building. We were able to get wasp spray and knock do a couple of the nests. With an infant and a very small child in tow, we were very concerned about the safety of them getting stung. Also the property was superficially clean...there were webs, dead flies and dust on the furniture in the master bedroom. Also there seem to be electrical issue...the master had flickering overhead lights that was not the result of a bulb issue. With all of this we had a nice time and the property is pretty. The owner just needs to step up the small things on the property.

Peaceful

House was spectacular! Location was perfect! Vacationing at Lake Anna and Plentiful views was the most relaxed we've been in years. Aptly named, the view is amazing. The owner, Norma, was very responsive and friendly and informative. Next time we go back to Lake Anna, we will try to book this home again! Thank you for everything Norma!

Wonderful Home

This was our 2nd time staying at this property. It's a perfect spot for a family with a fun deep water dock and slip for your boat. It has a ton of outdoor spaces to enjoy and everything you could want for a home away from home. Norma was a great host and very responsive.

Family Tranquility and Fun

Excellent location on the lake and a fantastic home to spend a few summer weeks. The house is nice and close to fuel for the boat as well as The Cove for drinks and food. The house was well appointed and we had everything we needed. The water off the dock is nice and deep for the boat and great for just floating in the tube. The spot is nicely protected from the wind as well.

Most Peaceful Location on the Lake

Such a beautiful home and perfect location. Both porches are fantastic and where we spent the majority of our time. Nice isolated Cove to swim and boat. Just can’t say enough good things about the hosts and the house. We will be returning for sure!
