This guesthouse has all new upscale furnishings, comfortable beds and linens. It’s nestled on 40 acres of woodland and meadows. Perfect for 2-4 guests. This second story guesthouse has private parking and entrance and a beautiful deck for grilling out or just relaxing after a busy day. Less than 3 miles from downtown Travelers Rest and the ‘Swamp Rabbit Trail’. Only 30 min from GSP airport and less that 45 min to Asheville.

Thankful at Thanksgiving

This is our second stay at this fantastic location. The accommodations are perfect for the two of us; and the hosts are truly kind. We enjoy being close to family but far away enough to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Wonderful Weekend

This is our second stay at this wonderful spot. Quiet and in the midst of nature, it is a very relaxing getaway place. We visited a farmers’ market, winery and some local shops and restaurants ( all recommended by the owner).

Nicely decorated and comfy

We were very pleased with the loft. Great decorations, clean and well stocked with more than was expected. We would stay there again.

Home Away from Home

This was my second visit to the loft and my husband's first. It is set up great and feels so comfortable that it is almost like having a home away from home when we come to visit our daughter at college. Thank you for your hospitality!

Cozy Retreat

The Loft is the perfect place to relax. I read and explored the property. The Loft is located just a few miles from restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. I will definitely return should I need a place to stay in The Greenville area.

Great little piece of paradise

Loved this property. Hosts very attentive and the loft is a wonderful place to destress. Loved the muffins and candies upon arrival and the fact that the loft was stocked with little things like coffee, creamer, spices, tea, snacks, butter. This makes such a difference if you don't have to take these items with you for a short stay. We wanted for nothing and would return again if ever in the area.

The Loft

Had a relaxing quiet time at the loft. It was a perfect base camp for exploring the area. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The delicious muffins were a nice touch after a long drive. I will return with some more energy next time to further explore this beautiful area. Thank you Barbara and Bob!!

This private little getaway was ADORABLE! We fell in love at first sight! Comfortable, cute decor, inviting, very well stocked, and immaculately clean! Cleanest we’ve been in! Taylor's Rest

In the area for a wedding. Perfect spot for us. Clean, and comfortable. We were greeted with treats and yummy muffins. Super easy process and cozy spot in the country. It is an above the garage apartment with hosts on-site, but we never saw them (we were busy hiking, wedding, etc). Great place to end the day.

Moving Magic

We were in the area to help someone move and were lucky enough to find this wonderful place. The hosts were attentive and very helpful across the length of our stay. The home was fully equipped and immaculately clean. The space is comfortable and has all that is needed to relax and feel right at home. This includes television. puzzles and current magazines. The location is quiet yet close enough to major stores and roadways. We would definitely stay there again and look forward to another adventure in the area.

Loved Staying at the Loft

I was in town for a conference attended by hundreds of high school theatre kids. Hotels get busy and noisy. This was a much better alternative. It was out away from the noise and surrounded by beautiful scenery. It was also not so far away that it took forever to find civilization. The property managers were great. There were little gifts in the loft upon my arrival that made me feel right at home. I would love to have stayed longer. If I am back in the area, I will certainly book this again. Highly recommended!

House hunting trip

This was the perfect place for us to unwind and regroup after looking at potential homes all day. The loft is beautifully decorated and comfortable, and the property calls you to relax and enjoy nature. Loved having the deck to enjoy!! We recommend this to anyone looking to stay in this area.

Peace and quiet in Traveler’s Rest

My second stay here, and was just as satisfying as my last. The property is clean, well stocked, and in a very quiet neighborhood. Would choose again in a heartbeat.

Travelers loft: quiet, relaxing, and comfortable!

My stay at Travelers loft was everything I could hope for. It was roomy, clean, comfortable, and had enough nice touches to make it really cozy. Located far enough off the main road to be very quiet. Amenities were provided to get started: coffee pods, creamer, and even a muffin for breakfast when I checked in. Soap, shampoo, and plenty of towels were provided as well. Overall it was a great experience. Highly recommended!

Perfect in every way!

I highly recommend this rental. The location is a private country setting, but you are just minutes from the town of Travelers Rest and in close proximity to Greenville. Great restaurants and antique shops nearby. As far as the property, it is very well decorated, quiet, and cozy. Even though it is located over the owner's detached garage, it feels very private, with it's own entrance, parking in the back, and the location of the deck (which is great for sitting and drinking coffee or watching the stars). You can walk around the property and there are a few trails that are laid out in the surrounding woods. We will definitely be traveling back to this one. We did not get to meet Bob, but we met Barbara, who is a fantastic host. She is super friendly and makes you feel very welcomed. She was also very accommodating with check-in and check-out times. I cannot recommend Bob and Barbara's place highly enough - we hated to leave, but can't wait to travel back. Mike and Jim

Quick weekend getaway

This was a delightful place, so thoughtfully decorated, comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommended, and a place I would definitely come back to enjoy a quiet weekend away from crowds and the mundane. Barbara was very accommodating and a wonderful host.

Beautiful retreat

Travelers Loft is located in a quiet, country setting with lots of trees. The loft looks like something I might see in a magazine--very nicely decorated and cozy. The owners were attentive but not intrusive. We really enjoyed staying here.

Quick weekend in TR

This is a great location in Upstate South Carolina. Very quiet and peaceful. Owners are fantastic and very attentive to your comfort. The Loft was immaculate and we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

All you’d want in a rental suite

The Travelers Loft was just about ideal. It was very new, spotless, quiet and in a lovely country setting. The location was convenient to both Greenville and the mountains. I felt very safe staying there right next to Barbara and Robert’s home. You could hear some car noise occasionally but I didn’t find it bothersome. Barbara checked in just often enough that I felt cared for and was willing to help with whatever I needed. Overall it was an excellent experience for me and they are terrific hosts.
