The cabin had everything we needed! Outdoor and indoor amenities met our needs. Perfect place for relaxation and fun with family. We always have a great time coming here and never want to go back home.
Very nice location and loved the large deck for us to gather and eat meals together as had other family camping in Schrieir's campground nearby. Great communication!
Very clean and cozy place to stay. Marcia and Joe were excellent with their help and professionalism. Dock, patio, cabin all was in excellent condition. Loved the access to Lake Shetek and if the fish are not biting on Shetek you can access Lake Armstrong just 25 ft. away. We would recommend this place to anyone.
We really enjoyed our stay at Schreiers Campground in this awesome cabin! Very modern, updated, and comfortable
The cabin had everything we needed and is very nice. The only minor thing I would say is be prepared for spiders. Anyone and everyone who regularly visits a lake or has rented a lakeside property knows that spiders are going to be present. We knocked down a few cobwebs and disposed of a few spiders while there but didn't let that ruin our stay. Cabin was very clean and well kept. The lakeside views from the deck were amazing! Beautiful grounds! Thank you for a great time!
Absolutely loved the location of the cabin!!! The water views on both sides of the cabin were amazing whether you love sunrise or sunsets! The cabin had everything we needed for cooking meals. There was a great selection of bath towels!!! The whole family had a wonderful time!
We LOVED everything about it. Marcia & Joe were awesome. Even the little things are important to them. Quiet, beautiful location. Thank you.

Not happy at all!
First off, I realize we are on a lake so there will be bugs, HOWEVER there were spiderwebs and dead bugs (as well as live ones) literally everywhere inside the cabin!!! Spiderwebs inside the cabinets, wrapped around ceiling fans and even inside the coffee maker. It honestly looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since last season. We spent the first hour there cleaning the place. There weren’t any basic kitchen items such as cooking spray, salt or pepper. There were coffee filters but that’s it. And when I went to pour myself a cup I pulled out a coffee cup that looked like it had already been used. To say we were disappointed in our stay would be an understatement. We even checked out a day early because we just couldn’t stand sleeping there one more night. I did explain the situation when we checked out in hopes that, at the very least, they would credit us the “cleaning fee” but that didn’t ever happen so here we are. I’ve never had to leave a review like this before on any VRBO stays because we have NEVER had this problem. The view was spectacular and that’s the only reason there were any stars on this review at all.

Ok, place.
It was a cute cabin right by the lake! My only complaint is that they need to do a better job at sanitizing, cleaning & dusting the place before customer's arrival. There were cobbwebbs on the ceiling and dead insects smear on the wall. I hope they took care of the water issue when we were there during our stay. Other then that it was a quiet & peaceful wkend getaway.
Nice little cabin on Lake Shetek on the edge of State Park. Can sleep 4 comfortably. Lots of activities to do in the area. We did day trips to visit Pipestone National Monument one day and Jeffers Petroglyphs another day. Management was efficient and located on site. Very peaceful location in mid-September.
This is a very nice cabin, right on the water. There's everything you could want right in the cabin. There's water in front and in back of the cabin, you are situated on a peninsula in the lake, very pretty!
Check in was simple and cabin is very well stocked. Make sure to catch the sunset at this cozy updated lakeside cabin. Thanks Marcia, we had a great time.
Stayed in cabin during reunion weekend. The lake view is beautiful. The campground has enough activity to keep the kids busy. The cabin is well-appointed and the beds were comfy. I would love to visit again
Very cute and clean little cabin! We enjoyed it very much! The staff, Marcia and her husband were all very friendly and super accommodating!! Everything you need to have a great time with your family! We will be back again!
