The property was perfect for our stay in Port Angeles. Communication with the host was great and they made it super easy to check in and out. We would definitely recommend and would book again the next time we’re in town.
We enjoyed our stay at the Hutchinson Ranger Suite. It was very clean and spacious. We visited Olympic National Park and coming back to it after a day of hiking was very pleasant.

Disappointed in Port Angeles
Old and tired very cluttered wasn’t good value in my opinion
This beautifully furnished studio is in a quiet neighborhood in the hills overlooking the harbor, about a 5 minute drive to the hustle, bustle of downtown Port Angeles, and a 10 minute drive to the entrance to Olympic NP. We particularly appreciated the oversized plush chairs with foot stools after a day of hiking. The space honors ONP with stunning historic photos, memorabilia, and helpful books and brochures. The kitchenette worked well for us for breakfasts and snacks, which is all we wanted. The patio table with chairs and umbrella looked inviting, but we never managed to sit there, perhaps due to those comfy chairs and also large dining table inside. Not an issue for us, but there are adjacent living spaces on both sides with requested quiet hours from 10pm-7am. Additional soundproofing is promised for the future.
Larger than we expected. Ten paces from car to front door. Quiet neighborhood. A deer & fawn wandered by each day. Great base from which to explore the Northern Olympic Peninsula.
Tucked away in a neighborhood convenient to Olympic National Park and downtown Port Angeles which offered some very good places to eat! We especially enjoyed Kokopelli and Jasmine Bistro. Our host was very accommodating and easy to reach.

These owners really are very heartfelt in making the suite perfect for one or two people. It contains all one needs, minus a full size kitchen, to make an overnight or two very relaxing and comfortable.

In a neighborhood centrally located to all the attractions we wanted to see. Roomy with a nice kitchen, fridge and lounge chairs. Kind of noisy with the neighbors in adjoining rooms. Bed was smaller than expected. Enjoyed seeing deer every morning. Hutchison make sure your experience is enjoyable.
I had the pleasure of staying in this suite for two nights. The suite is very homey, all the furnishings and personal touches made me feel like I was staying in someone’s home while having the privacy to myself. I wasn’t in the suite a lot as I was hiking in Olympic, but the bed was very cozy, the room perfect temperature. There was a kitchenette, with lots of utensils with a large fridge which was perfect for having light meals. Wifi and television worked perfect and the outdoor patio available for use was wonderful. Located in a safe neighbourhood and conveniently located. As indicated in other reviews, you can hear the next door suite so I would be cautious in making too loud of noise. As a solo traveler and heavy sleeper, this was not an issue for me whatsoever. I would happily recommend this to anyone considering staying here, and the price very reasonable for the value of the stay. Thank you Shireen for your hospitality, and great communication!
Great experience. Could see the ocean and sunset from the patio.
Lots of books and accessories from national parks.
Don’t keep the doors open, we saw raccoons outside but they didn’t come close.
This place is very comfortable, and is in a quiet neighborhood, not in the hustle and bustle of the main part of the town. Just what I was looking for! And with convenient access to Olympic National Park. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Our stay was FABULOUS! We actually stayed twice on our visit. Great location… close to The Olympic national Park, downtown Port Angeles and a quick drive to the BC Ferry.
We loved watching the deer when we would leave in the morning ( reminded us of home), that was indeed a bonus!
Shireen was an impeccable host, very attentive, any questions asked were immediately answered.
We come to PA to visit my brother as well as Vancouver Island. This VRBO is ideal for our stay!
Thank you for being the BEST host!!
This was my second stay here and I love it. Hosts make everything streamline.
