NO RENTALS AFTER 2024. This property is being rented to scrapbookers, card makers, knitters, quilters...etc. If a crafty weekend is NOT what you seek, please find another property.

The perfect setting for small groups to get together and scrapbook, craft, knit or quilt. Choo Choo Rooster Retreat is located in beautiful Western Maryland and is available for weekend rentals from April through October. Your weekend can be from Thursday thru Sunday, or Friday thru Monday---whichever works best for your group.

NOTE: please DO NOT invite additional crafters to join you during the day. The house is designed to accommodate NO MORE than 10 people.

This lovely, spacious Oakland, Maryland home comfortably sleeps 10 people. There are four bedrooms and three full baths. It offers a well-appointed kitchen, dining room and a huge, brightly lit craft area. There are multiple cozy seating areas including two big porches at your disposal when you need a break from creating.

Our favorite place for scrapbook retreats!

We love coming here! The crop room is nice and spacious and there are several places to sit if you want to take a break from scrapbooking.

We love staying at Choo-Choo. We had a small issue with the hot water, but the owners were right on top of the situation, and we had it solved in a matter of minutes!!! Great experience and can't wait to return.

Scrapping weekend

This house is a great place to stay for a scrapping weekend. Fully stocked in every way. The crop room is spacious and comfortable. It is easily accessible for loading and unloading supplies. Can’t wait to come back

Sisterhood of the traveling crafters

Great Scrap House!

Our scrapping group had a fantastic time at the Choo Choo Rooster! We scrapped, played games, hiked, shopped and enjoyed the sunroom. All the bedrooms are spacious. The house is set up perfectly for everyone to spread out. The scrap room with the kitchen was wonderful! The Keurig and area for snacks worked out great. We will definitely be returning!! Thanks!!
