Convient Stay

Cant knock the location of this apartment and the space, Jennifer was also very responsive to our messages. We had an awful night sleep here though due to the noise from the street and the other apartments in the building. The main bedroom has a door that leads to another entrance and there was people coming in and out until around 4am which meant we couldnt sleep. The heating was also ridiculously loud (like a burst of steam coming out the pipes) which also woke us up a few times so i doubt we would stay again

Superb location

We were reassigned this property and were so happy with it. It was very spacious and our son liked having the basement suite to himself. It is in a superb location with views of the sea and everything you need is nearby. A lovely coffee shop directly opposite sold drinks, pastries and sandwiches to order. Having a dedicated space for the hire car was very useful. The flat was well appointed and we had everything we needed. Thank you.

Noisy and small bed

We did not receive the entry details until Friday evening our time we had left home Friday morning as we were travelling from the UK We asked on booking for the property manager on booking to confirm that the main bed was a queen size, which was confirmed the main bed in the flat was barely a double the only queen size bed was the sofa bed The flat was clean but very noisy from above and the old heating system sounding like shower being used We were not satisfied with the flat

Historic building, outstanding location

It’s hard to imagine a more convenient location in central Salem. This historic building is across the street from the Peabody Essex Museum and close to restaurants and bars, but it’s relatively quiet in November. (The only sounds at night were some footsteps from the apartment above.) The interior was clean and appointed with everything we needed for our stay. I especially appreciated the coffee maker and coffee pods and the washing machine in the unit. All in all a very comfortable stay and good value.

Prime location

Excellent location for walking everywhere! I would stay there again! Only a couple quirks, first, walls were very thin, constantly heard noise from upstairs apartment and people walking by. Second, the toilet paper roll holder is awkwardly placed, so you have to sit crooked on the toilet. Even with those small issues, I hope to get the chance to stay here again!

This is THE perfect location to experience Salem

This location puts you within a short walking distance to most of the sites to see in Salem! Parking is at a minimum in Salem and this location included a dedicated spot in a parking garage that is a very short walk from the house. The place was clean and had everything we needed! The beds were VERY comfortable! We only had one question during our stay and the property manager was very quick to answer! We will eventually return to Salem, and we would not hesitate to rent this property again!

Property and location was perfect .Only minor complaint would be the noisy neighbors above. Walking/stomping back and forth all day and most of the night. It wouldn't at all keep me from staying here again. Highly recommend.

Prime Salem Location

This unit is a prime spot for anyone visiting Salem. Short 5 minute walk to Essex St, 2 minute walk to the Witch Trials Memorial, and also comes with a parking spot in a nearby garage. The unit was very clean and the check-in/check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow. My only complaint is that the main bedroom has a door that leads to an entryway accessed by other tenants and someone was opening and closing the loud entry door from 1:30am-4:30am, keeping me awake the entire time. For this reason I would not stay at this particular vrbo again but would consider other properties owned by the company since I otherwise had a positive experience.

Interesting layout. Very walkable to Salem but a decent walk to parking garage and the parking spot unfortunately was too small for our SUV as it was between two large SUVs. Unsure how that can be remedied.

The location of this apartment was amazing! Located close to everything! Very clean. Reasonable price and we felt very safe The parking garage to park in was very convenient only one block away park your car and you have a designated spot. If you want to be close to everything then you should stay here. for a ghost tour, I recommend which city tours the murder tour with Danielle the tour guide she is excellent

This is a great location. The apartment was clean and cozy. The parking garage was close by. It is a little noisy from traffic and the tenants coming and going. We would definitely stay here again.

A+ location!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The location is key! Right between Derby and Essex...almost everything we did was walkable! And it is just a 15 minute drive to the beach, which we were able to spend the day. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was great after our day at the beach. I rated cleanliness 4 out of 5 not for cleanliness (the apartment was clean), more so the property could use some upkeep. They were out of several items for the amenities, the bathroom vanity light didn't work, front door is missing molding, and the molding in the bathroom looked rotted in a corner due to water getting out of the shower. The AC in the living room didn't work but there was a small one in the kitchen and bedroom.
