The Bad with the Good

Property not as depicted in pictures. The king bedroom and bathroom were the filthiest I have EVER stayed in for any hotel, Abnb, Vrbo, or vacay timeshare. Ceiling fan w/light fixture had 1/8 - 1/4" of dust riight above the bed, top of headboard, adjacent walls the overhead ceiling all had dust fragments which I had to clean all of this prior to going to bed the 1st evening. The vent in bedroom has dirty insulation stuck in the slots, bedroom curtains loaded with dust, dirty windows, and all bedding pillows heavily soiled & ill fitted w/queen covers on king pillow which we double cased with cases we bought. The adjacent bathroom sink drained excessively slow and unable to use it along with the commode that had a very loose seat due to improper fasteners and improper leveling of the unit with wooden shims placed between the base of the commode and the floor. The bathroom vent very dusty as are the walls and in need to be painted. Obvious plumbing issues existed while this place was still listed for rental as you can see the previous stains from the sink leaking on the base of the vanity, and old waterlines along the baseboards but never repaired properly. The bathroom had a mold/mildew odor. I informed the host of the bathroom situation and she responded that a plumber may not be able to get there during our stay. They would be leaving the country the next day. I replied we would tough it out as we had checked in and have our personnel belongings in the home. We ended up using the sink in the other bathroom reserved for the quests we invited. This was awkward and uncomfortable having to share a bathroom. Having paid full price for the rental along with a cleaning fee for these seriously inadequate accommodations is unacceptable. I have pictures are available for the owners perusal should they so desire . The closet in the queen room had strewn bedding (blankets, pillows, etc) on the floor assumed to be dirty as nothing was folded or sanitarily wrapped or bagged making the closet unusable for stowing luggage, shoes, etc. There were no cushions on the outdoor porch furniture and no table at the gazebo. There were 4 useable chairs at the firepit and one broken chair. Otherwise, the rest of the home was fine and appeared clean. All appliances and TVs worked well, plenty of wood for evening fires, and the kitchen was well equipped w/cookware, utensils, dishware, etc.. Would not recommend this property at the present time.

Great experience

If you want the mountains feel with a modern touch, here you go. Absolutely clean, updated, and family friendly. They had ample games, wonderful hot tub and a beautiful view. We loved our experience and stay. Managers went above and beyond to help us and take care of our needs. 5 star easily.

Beautiful house and great view. Good amenities. Be aware the property is high in a mountain so you'll be driving up to get there. Overall we loved our stay.

Great property in a great location

We loved the area of this cabin. Equally easy to get to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The gazebo is so cute and we loved the outdoor lighting and indoor Christmas decor. Would definitely stay again.
