Wonderful villa

We had a great stay at Jim and Jo-Ann's villa, they made sure we had everything we needed and it was very well equipped as well as having a cot, high chairs and push chairs for our 6 month old. The pool is lovely and it has plenty of privacy with a fence around the garden. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Home from home

There was nothing we could fault with the attention to detail in the house. It was comfortable and clean with everything thought of down to the washing pods/dryer sheets/dishwasher tablets/washing up liquid and all the other small things you dont want to buy on holiday. The bedrooms are all huge and nicely appointed and the kitchen had all you need. The pool area is lovely and very private. A nice space for a day off from the parks and when you get home in the evening. Walmart was a 5 min drive where you can buy everything you might need and there are plenty of decent restaurants within reasonable distance. The owners are lovely. We had a couple of bad storms when we were there and they popped around to check everything was ok. The current traffic situation in the whole Kissimmee/Davenport/4 Corners area is dreadful at the minute so you do need to factor that into to your day, and consider the less obvious route from the 192 to the parks to avoid it. Finally I'd highly recommend going to Lake Louisa state park for a few hours. It's a 10 minute drive away and a simply beautiful, natural & peaceful area. We spent a lovely morning there.

Fantastic home, huge, close to supermarket, Disney, just perfect for us!

When we arrived we were so surprised on the size of the house it’s huge compared to our home in England! The pool was a great size and we made plenty of use of it! We got a call from JoAnn the morning after we arrived to check if we had got there ok and that we knew how to use everything which was a lovely touch, thank you. We did our shopping at Walmart just on the main road a few minutes from the house. We drove to Disney, Daytona Beach, Kennedy Space Centre, Anna Maria Beach, Kissimmee Swamp Tours, Orlando Speed World, we got out a lot! We are already planning a return visit, this was our first trip to America and we loved it! Thank you again for letting us stay in your lovely home x

Loved out time in the villa.

Really impressed with villa, it was just like being at home with how it was set up. Villa was clean and tidy as was the pool area. Myself and family would recommend this villa to friends and family to use in their vacation. Thanks Joann and Jim.

We enjoyed a good week's stay at the property which is ideally located for the Disney Parks and had many local restaurants and shops. The house was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It was very clean and had lots of little extras like an X Box, coffee machines, ice maker and adjustable firmness on the master bedroom bed. The pool area is very bright, clean and private. We enjoyed the spa pool and the fact that it had a covered outside area for sitting complete with fan and outside music speakers. We were a party of 3 only but there was plenty of room for 2 families to share without being overcrowded. We enjoyed the local area particularly the outlet shopping, restaurants and the local Cat Cafe! Thank you for your hospitality we would certainly like to return in the future.

Very homely

This was our second stay in this villa, the last being 2014, yet again we had a fantastic time. We stayed for 29 nights and loved every minute. The villa had everything we needed, while feeling like on holiday this villa also has a homely feel to it, which we find unique, having stayed in plenty of villa over the years. Again the pool area is where we spent a lot of time, sun all day long. We also used the BBQ several times which we enjoyed. The kids also used the Xbox this time which kept them occupied in the evenings. Kitchen well kitted out, everything you would need. We will return in the future, hopefully sooner rather than later. Thanks Jim & JoAnn. PS Hope to use that sauce this week if the weather holds out here in England.

We are a family of 10 who have recently returned from staying at this villa for 2 weeks. It was everything that we wanted it to be. Great value, in a great location for shops, dining and the parks. The villa had all the facilities that are needed to accomodate a big family and the pool area is very private (unlike many other villas) and was much appreciated by young and old, after a long day in the parks. Many thanks to Joann who was very helpful and patient with all my questions leading up to our arrival. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone

Had a wonderful stay

Nice house for the money.. one for the beds had crumbs in the sheets. The heater seemed to not work on the pool/spa messages owner they said they were sending someone out but still didn’t work but that’s ok cuz we didn’t have to pay for the heated pool and the kids still loved the pool. Nice neighborhood nice house for cost would stay again. Thank you for letting our family rent your house

Conveniently Located

Conveniently located near dining, shopping & theme parks. We weren't a fan of the homes actual location in the neighborhood; it's a very busy subdivision with one way in & out & the road is very narrow with vehicles parked along it. The home itself is nice enough, quite spacious (there was 6 of us in our group). The layout is great especially if traveling with other couples/family members. The master bed is a sleep number bed but was not comfortable at all. I'd recommend bringing your own pillows, the ones provided were flat & stained. Also there were no hand towels provided so we bought some from the Dollar Store. Bath towels were minimal & some of us just used our beach towels instead. The pool & fenced yard was great & we really enjoyed swimming between park visits. One thing not mentioned in the listing is that the owners request the air conditioning stay at 75* while you're in the house. While we were there the temps were near 100* outside & even with ceiling fans & box fans going the house was quite warm. Overall it was a good stay & we had a nice vacation.

Disney trip

There are 8 adults in our group. There is plenty of room. I needed to contact Joanne for the key pad code upon our arrival. The VRBO website was down. Immediate response with no issue in contacting her. I would suggest either printing the information or taking pictures to have. We had everything we needed even a Keurig. I did think the house was a little closer to the parks. Thirty minutes is not bad. Probably would like to be closer next time. Just a couple of things that were said were the pillows were thin and the rooms closer to the pool heard the pump throughout the night. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

This property was great for our Disney vacation! 5 bedrooms and 3 baths were great for multiple people. Check in process was very easy! Loved the location and having a Walmart so close. Small issue with hot tub on arrival but quick response from the owners and was rectified the following day. 😊

Softball Tournament Stay

We were in town for a softball tournament so we did not get to spend much time in the house. Pool was very warm and house was in a good location. Would recommend for people looking for large accommodations in the Orlando area.

Other than the hot tub/ pool heater not working until the last full day of our stay, and the neighbors rooster, which was a funny surprise, the house was great. Served our needs perfectly. Would stay again.

Decent

Pool heat was very nice except for one day. Floors, countertops, and grill were all dirty upon arrival. Two beds had wet sheets on them, which we discovered after midnight the first night. Owner stopped by to provide some cleaning supplies and laundry soap the next morning, and the cleaning person came in the afternoon to clean. The owner indicated this was an oddity and left a small amount of cash for the inconveniences. Walls could use a good cleaning. We enjoyed our stay but would probably not stay here again. We left the place much cleaner than we found it.

Close to Disney and a wonderful pool when we returned home

Plenty of room for our group of 10. we loved the private pool and hot tub! Kitchen is stocked with many appliances (blender, crockpot, mini-food processor to name a few) not usually found in a vacation home. we were able to create a wonderful early holiday feast in the spacious kitchen. and the home is close to shopping and restaurants which made for a very convenient location.

Cozy home in a great location

The home was very accommodating and comfortable. Very near grocery stores and fast food establishments. We enjoyed our stay using all of its amenities. Including the pool, outdoor grill and extra stroller. The host always responded in a timely manner.
