Patricia was a very good host. She was available whenever we needed her and was quick to answer when we try to get a hold of her. The home was cozy and comfy and will be definitely when we return to when we come back to New Orleans.
Great, clean shotgun duplex in lower 9th Ward. Easy access to French Quarter, Mid-City, Treme, etc: either a 10 minute drive or a 12-15 can ride. Patricia is a kind and responsive host. Would definitely stay again.
This was everything I dreamed of when I envisioned New Orleans. Classic shotgun home with beautiful details, pocket doors, high ceilings, fireplace in rooms. Every amenity was provided, I could have just brought my clothing. We would love to come and stay again.
We stayed for 6 nights in Historic Shotgun home. The owner on one side and us on other. Nice area. Patricia was very accessible and willing to help with everything. Easy to get in and was well stocked. Thanks Patricia!
This was the perfect location for us. Quiet neighborhood , away from the traffic and businesses of downtown, yet only 20 minutes away. The house is very New Orleans” and has lots of character. Just a short walk away is the Mississippi River and a nice walk on the levee. We didn’t have to bother Tricia at all because everything we needed or wanted was there. We had a great week exploring the area and left the day before it snowed! We would highly recommend this home whether staying for a couple of nights or a week like we did.
We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a very quaint and unique home/apartment in NOLA. Everything was as described and the home had everything we needed. Quick drive to the French Quarter. Tricia was a fabulous hostess.
We really enjoyed the week! Patricia was accommodating and the location was excellent for easy trips into the French quarter and beyond. Would stay again!

We loved this place. The hpuse itself had undeniable charm. Everything was in the house so that you could cook a meal for yourself. Tricia, the host is very responsive. The neighborhood seems very quiet. Delightful!
Property was clean, really well stocked, quiet, and safe. Tricia was clear and quick with information and responses in the app. Easy check in and really easy check out with minimal check out to do list. Had a
Had a great time… for the price it was spot on… well stocked hygiene essentials for those that don’t have any.. (we did) The refrigerator and stove wasn’t clean so much to my standards… The neighborhood view wasn’t like the brochure deemed… Quiet tho.. overall for the short stay it served its purpose. Thank you
This property is a beautiful gem tucked away in a quiet neighborhood beside the water. The home was comfortable, and the kitchen was the best-stocked of any VRBO I have stayed at. My husband and I love to cook and have morning coffee, and this kitchen was clean and comfortable, with great appliances and snacks!
The owner's hospitality was evident from the moment we arrived. Check-in was a breeze, and we were delighted to find a wealth of local resources laid out for us. The art and graffiti book was a unique touch that we thoroughly enjoyed, and it inspired us to explore the local art scene.
The home was close to downtown New Orleans, and a cemetery was a short drive away. We enjoyed morning and evening walks by the river.
If I could give more than five stars, I would. I highly recommend it, and if we make our way back to New Orleans, we will stay again.
The neighborhood was quiet. We felt safe. The place had all the amenities you could need. Because parking is such a hassle in New Orleans; We were in area where we could order takeout and Uber to Bourbon St. And French Quarter. Parking was provided on the property.
Loved staying here! Perfect location! Quiet and safe neighborhood! Everything was clean and everything we could possibly need was provided for us! Definitely plan to come back!
This is our 2nd time staying at this location that’s perfectly settled next to the Mississippi River. Conveniently located close to everything exciting, we look forward to our next visit.
Everything about the home was lovely! Nice quiet neighborhood and the levee and river in the backyard makes for a nice morning walk! The host Tricia is the most responsive and kindest host! I will be back!
My stay was quick and easy. Property manager made everything accessible and welcomed open communications if I had any issues or problems. Loved the property because it was tucked away while still being close to everything. I will be using it as a staple in future travels to the area when appropriate. I actually wished I had more down time to enjoy the house more. This is perfect if you are looking for a more homey and laid back feel for the area.
My boyfriend and I loved this blue little gem. We drove to New Orleans, so getting around was easy for us, but the rental is conveniently located for Uber/lyft! We had a blast. The owner was so sweet and the home was immaculate. She even provided recommendations for eats and a bit of literature on NoLa history. Washer dryer, comfy bed, snacks, I could go on and on.. We will be back :))
