Nice size efficiency for staying in the Lake Lure area. Centrally located near the entrance gate of Rumbling Bald. Comfortable and clean.

Lake Lure

There are a lot of wonderful things we can say about the property such as great location, great room, comfortable bed, wonderful area w/resort amenities, and great value. What we found especially nice is the thought that the hosts put into providing anything you could possibly need (or forgot) plus the fact that they are really nice and dedicated to seeing that their guests have a great visit to one of the most beautiful areas of NC.

Amazing

We had the best time in the cutest place in the friendliest community. They had beach chairs, beach towels, extra hangers and a closet for our clothes. They had everything we could ever ask for during our stay. It was nice to be in the hills behind the church where we got to hear the church bells ring, just peaceful and beautiful! We watched Dirty Dancing the night we arrived on the TV in the room and the bed was comfortable with clean sheets and soft pillows. The bathroom was clean and had everything we could possibly need like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, aloe for sun burns and sunscreen, they even had feminine products and a sewing kit, etc. they had a coffee bar stocked with tea and all the essentials. Very friendly couple and super private stay with views of the trees from the windows, felt like we were in a tree house! Easy to find on a private road, very safe and quiet. We will absolutely stay here next time! We enjoyed the golf course and lake and local restaurants! Just the best!

Great location

3 minute drive to the entry gate to the Rumbling Bald Resort and restaurant and bar. Clean large studio, fully stocked with all supplies and a comfortable bed.

Magnolia Place is the Perfect Place!

We were at a Lake Lure for a wedding and were so lucky to find Magnolia Place. It was the perfect location to the resort and had every amenity you could think of (down to the salt scrub by hose to get the sand off!!!)! They even provide guest passes to the resort so you can have fun at the beach or play a game of pickle ball or mini golf. The only regret we have is that we couldn’t stay longer. If this place is available, look no further. You will not be disappointed and the hosts are fabulous!!

Great place to stay! Hosts were super friendly, easy to work with and very accommodating. Was especially impressed with the level of detail included as amenities (e.g. Keurig, fresh bottled water, beach towels, flip flops, beach chairs) Already figuring out when we can return!

It was wonderful. The place was immaculate and well stocked. The owners were so gracious and easy to work with. They gave wonderful recommendations and were so accommodating. We will definitely stay here again!!

Relax and Unwind

Very nice place to get away from the daily grind and just relax. Property met our expectations, and was as specified by the owner, who BTW is fantastic with communication and recommendations of things to do and where to eat. Thank you, Robb!

Retreat for a wedding

Magnolia place was a quaint little place nestled in the mountain woods. It served as a perfect place to relax while visiting the area for a wedding. Very comfortable and cozy. We would definitely stay there again if we come back to the area. Robb and Linda have done it up right. Steve W.

Beautiful property

Excellent stay. Hosts were kind, friendly and property was just as reported. The area was beautiful. Since we had not been before they were helpful in suggesting places to go. Would definitely recommend!

wonderful getaway for any vacation

This was our second time coming here and we love it. Best location for a summer lake vacation. Quiet, private, and everything you need for a getaway whether for a weekend or a week.. The host is very helpful and pleasant to speak with. 5 stars all the way.

Great anniversary getaway!

We couldn’t have asked for better hosts, who made us feel very welcome, offered great suggestions for restaurants, and made sure we had the best stay possible. Magnolia Place was so warm and inviting, and very close to all of the activities the resort offered. We highly recommend a stay at Magnolia Place, and look forward to returning there soon.

Love the amenities!

We had a great stay at Magnolia Place. I picked it primarily for the resort access and it was such a great perk! We played pickleball, did putt putt, took a boat tour, hung out at the beach and pool (and more) through Rumbling Bald. Robb was very attentive and the process was easy and convenient.

Great Location!

We weren't expecting the suite to be attached to the hosts permanent residence. That's the only thing I would change about the listing is to disclose that information. This didn't change the enjoyment of our stay, however, would have been nice to know up front. Robb and LA were very attentive hosts and made sure that we didn't have to ask for anything with the suite being fully equipped with anything we could have possibly wanted or needed during our stay. The close proximity to Rumbling Bald resort (just down the hill) and access the the amenities were great! The indoor pool and spa were perfect for the cooler weather. Robb was very kind to give lots of recommendations for local food and places to see and things to do. Overall, our stay was great and just what we needed for a short weekend getaway. The area is just beautiful!!

Quiet place, but close to tourist attractions

Robb was a great host. He greeted us when we arrived and showed us the amenities. We had access to the resort for massages. Lake Lure and Chimney Rock were close by with nice restaurants. I would recommend this place for a quiet get away.

Robb and L.A. are great hosts. Magnolia Place is beautiful and they make sure you have everything you need in order to have a wonderful visit. Having access to the resort amenities provides lots of options for activities. Very enjoyable stay!

Beautiful and secluded vacation

We had a wonderful time. The suite is much more spacious than the pictures indicate. Every amenity was there in the suite when we got there and many of the things we brought for our trip were unnecessary as they had it provided in the room. Only a few minutes from the rumbling bald resort but you would never know it. Still close enough for a day trip into chimney rock village. The owners were very hospitable and friendly. I would take this over the beach anytime.
