Presenting this beautiful 40-acre estate available for your next vacation. The property includes an infinity pool, pond, and 7,000 square foot castle with breathtaking views of the Sierra Foothills.

OUTSIDE
Property includes a magnificent infinity pool, lush year-round pond, fenced oval horse track, boxing ring, sand volleyball court, built-in trampoline, and double-gated entry with a dramatic drive-up approach. The land we’re on is wild, so please be mindful of stickers, poison oak, and wild animals. Respect the earth!

For more than 18 guests we require special permits, insurance, and incur an additional fee depending on the size of the party and needs. Fees are determined on a case-by-case basis, please make sure to discuss any details with the host if considering holding a party for additional information rules and policies. We have a strict sound policy rule which will need to be agreed to before entry.

The parking lot for no more than 25 cars a shuttle is required. Please reach out directly for information regarding the shuttle service.

Property features remarkable craftsmanship with custom stone and limestone walls throughout. 6 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, Master suite with balcony private steam sauna room and large jacuzzi bathtub, full luxury kitchen two sinks and two refrigerators, two dishwashers, formal dining room, living room, Large game room in the basement, and grand staircase. Also, we are on satellite internet. We have no way of controlling speed or usage; we have the biggest fastest plan we can acquire in our area being so rural. Please download and upload movies/shows , games, and music before you get here so that normal usage will remain useable . The more people on devices the slower the internet gets :) emails and browsing should be just fine ;) We are also on a well, so please use water-wise practices. Thank you

Epic Location for a birthday gathering

Great property to convene 10-15 people in for birthdays and family gatherings. Hot tub was placed perfectly for truly staggering views over the valley towards Sacremento. Kitchen and utilities were perfect for the chef that came to cater for us. Host was excellent and very communicative - hot tub needed to be reset from service mode and we were connected to the pool maintenance tech within minutes and the issue was resolved within the hour. Excellent property, excellent service.

Fantastic Property Beautiful Views

Large family gathering and this Property made everybody happy! Great spaces throughout that allow you to interact with everyone at once, or be by yourself/small group at any time. Very comfortable and relaxed feeling from this property, and the pictures do not do justice to the warmth of the home. Jonathon was FANTASTIC as host, readily available, very nice and easy to work with, and responded quickly and professionally! Definitely looking at booking our return visit.

Great Retreat with a Great View

This property is massive and has some good amenities. The house had enough beds to sleep our party and the pool and hot tub are beautiful as well overlooking the valley. The kitchen and dining room are great for cooking and serving big meals. The listing states there is a beach volleyball court and boxing ring, but the volleyball court was overgrown and the net hadn't been maintained as well as the boxing ring wasn't really usable or safe to be in (not that we planned on using it) but it definitely lacked maintenance as well. Keep that in mind if you'll have young kids around. The house hard its quirks, but was charming and we spent a majority of our time on the beautiful patio in the sun and using the pool and hot tub. If you're able to split the cost with a big group it is worth it for sure.

Fantastic Weekend

Myself and a group of friends came to the property for a weekend to hang out and relax and all of us had an absolute blast, wish we had been able to stay longer. The property is incredible, tons of bedrooms and sleeping room, comfortable couches and space, spacious kitchen, and ample room for a large group of people to eat. Feels like a castle - with quirks and all kinds of amenities on the property (trampoline, hot tub, volleyball court, boxing court, you name it - very fun to explore! The highlight of the property is the back of the house with a large area for groups, and a massive infinity pool + hot tub with an absolutely incredible view. The group of us couldn't believe the sunset we caught on one of our nights, pictures couldn't do it justice. Owner and contacts for the property were very responsive and friendly. Ran into an issue with the hot tub and got prompt communication back even late very at night, with someone coming by first thing in the morning to fix the issue, which was great.

Fabulous Fifty!

We returned to “The Castle House” for the second time. This time to celebrate our 50 year wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren. The grandchildren remembered this house from last year and were ready to enjoy the amazing pool and spa. This is a large house that easily accommodated our big family. There are plenty of nice towels for both bathing and swimming. And enough kitchenware for a large group. The basement ping pong table added a nice feature when escape from the sun was needed. The children also enjoyed the trampoline. The one suggestion for folks going during the hot summer months is is to bring plenty of ice. There is a chest freezer that can hold 60 pounds of ice. We stayed for five nights and used Costco and Safeway grocery delivery the first day as there is plenty of food storage capacity for a large group. The views from the backyard are even better than the photos. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. We are all still talking about the fun we had.

Pictures sometimes don’t do a place justice because Longview Chateau took our breath away.

From the moment you drive up the winding country road and first lay eyes on this estate you know this is a special place. You truly feel like royalty when you open the door and see the grand staircase with a backdrop of a 500 mile view of the entire Sacramento valley below. The showstopper is the infinity edge pool that also has a grotto and a ledge for diving into the deep end. Everyone from the young and the old had a blast and couldn’t stop complimenting us on how great the vibe was at this property. We made memories that will last a life time here. Also there are so many great spots all over the estate to take amazing photographs! Don’t think twice if your on the fence of booking this location trust me you won’t regret it.

WONDERFUL PLACE FOR OUR FAMILY REUNION!

The house was plenty big enough for our family of 17. We love to cook together and the kitchen lended itself well to work together preparing food. The pool, hot tub, and patio area were the highlight for us. Many times we were all in the pool and we never felt crowded. Because of the drought we couldn't use the infinity feature, which couldn't be helped, but even without that, the pool is amazing! We would definitely consider renting this house again if we decide to gather in the area again. The property manager was amazing--we got very quick responses back from her whenever we had questions or a concern was raised. Beautiful view--we have some amazing photos out by the pool as the sun set. Would highly recommend this castle home!!

Amazing!!!

We stayed five days in celebration of m husband’s 70th birthday. The photos don’t really do justice to especially the backyard. Gorgeous! There were 20 of us in total. Eleven children and nine adults. The pools kept the children busy and having fun all day. The basement playroom is a perfect place to escape the sun on the afternoon. We enjoyed the cooking amenities, the large rooms, and the VIEW!!! The children ranged from 1-16 and there was fun to be had by all. The owner was quick to address any concerns. We are sorry to leave!

Entrepreneurs Group Retreat

We fell in love with the house and the property. It was absolutely perfect for our group of 10 adults. Everything was perfect, and the POOL is amazing. The check-in process was super easy, and we will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful weekend getaway!

Absolutely gorgeous property in the hills of Auburn. The road to get to the property is narrow and had many blind turns so take it slow. The property itself was very clean and tidy. We had almost everything we needed to enjoy the space! The grill was out of propane so I had to run out and grab a fresh one. (Future guests, enjoy!) The pool pump wasn’t working either so the water features of the pool were unavailable to us, and the overflow was green and full of algae. Other than that it was a beautiful place to stay and I look forward to staying here again in the future! (As long as that pool gets fixed). 4.7/5.0 stars!

Beautiful Home for an Amazing Vacation

For the past 11 years we have gathered with our friends from college to spend a week reconnecting with our growing families. This year we rented the Longview Estate and WOW! The pictures really don't do the place justice. This a beautiful home with TONS of space for multiple families to have fun and relax. The kitchen is enormous and well supplied. We had no problem cooking nightly dinners for our party of almost 20. The property is highly secluded (almost need binoculars to see any neighbors), but close enough to town to make daily supply runs no problem. The view of the Sacramento Valley was stunning and pristine. But the centerpiece (for us, anyway) was the pool and hot tub. The pool is gigantic and the kids loved playing in the built in stone grotto. The adults loved spending evenings star-gazing and hanging out in the hot tub. The owners are easy-going and VERY responsive to texts, though we didn't need to contact them often. The property manager was pleasant and attentive, but completely unobtrusive. The internet connection was a bit slow, but plenty good enough to stream video and audio on all our devices and, frankly, was as good as you could expect from such a remote property. I really cannot recommend the Longview Estate enough. Thanks for the incredible week!

Awesome property and very responsive owner

My extended family and I rented this property for our annual winter holiday retreat. All of us had an absolute good time with both the chateau and its surroundings as well as the Auburn area.. The property is exactly as advertised. The exterior grounds are well maintained and the interior is nicely furnished and clean. Even though the kitchen equipment are not new, it is well equipped. We especially liked the large, combined dinning tables for our large group of 14 people! It's winter so the pool is not heated but we very much enjoyed the hot tub. The sunset view from the backyard is just incredible! Last but not least, Johnathan, the owner was very responsive and friendly. He even came out to the property on request to restock our daily supply of household goods as well as fixing the upstairs TV! He also had a plumber come fix a shower on a Saturday morning. All in all, I would highly recommend this property for any large group functions.

Incredible Experience for 40th Celebration

I had the distinct pleasure of celebrating my 40th birthday at this beautiful property and my guests and I are still BEAMING! The Chateau's landscape and views for miles brought us to immediate relaxation and bliss. The thoughtful and detailed decor created luxurious, artful inspired moments of conversation. The steam shower in the master bedroom brought me back to life each morning ;) Auberon and Johnathan are such thoughtful hosts and available just a text away. We felt so taken care of ;)
