Chiado 8 is located at 12, Travessa Joao de Deus, 3rd floor (no lift) in the desirable Chiado quarter, a trendy, vivid fashionable part of town. Although in the middle of everything flat is located in a small side street quiet at night.
Chiado 8 is a deluxe apartment. A duplex unit, renovated in 2015, extremely spacious, well equipped (A/C in all rooms), refined, comfortable and bright. Location, layout, superb decoration and equipment put this apartment on top of the existing offer in Lisbon.
Flat occupies two floors and can accommodate up to 6 people with full comfort.
On the lower floor you will find the social area, with a huge living room and dinning area, a second TV and reading room, a well equipped kitchen and a guest bathroom (no shower).
On the upper floor you will find the private area. First bedroom is a generous suite, with a king size bed, reading and resting area and private full bathroom. The other two bedrooms have nice areas, all with large closets and refined decor.

Entire apartment is a strictly non smoking unit. Chiado 8 is designed for guests who want to stay in the heart of town in a luxury environment.

Amazing location, great 3 bedroom place with 5 beds, worked great for family of 5

We had a great experience staying here.For reference, we are a family of 5 - parents, 2 teenage boys, 1 teenage girl - so we look for 3 bedroom places with at least 4 beds. This fit that! Location - phenomenal. It is near many great restaurants (we ate at Chef Jose Avillez restaurants and others nearby). It is literally a 2 min walk to these from the apartment. A 5 min walk down goes to Baixa-Chiado area (metro stop, shops, etc). You can also walk down to central Lisbon / Plaza which takes about 15 min, of course then you have to walk back up the hill to the apartment or take a tram/taxi/uber.Mario did a great job communicating. FYI - he will ask for the hotel tax when arriving. He showed us the apartment and gave us some tips which were great. He also helped us by arranging a car service to/from the airport - which was really great to make things easier - someone was waiting for us at the airport (50 euros). There isn't an elevator and the apartment is on the top floor - 3 stories up and then the bedrooms are up more stairs, just an FYI so you can prepare or choose something else if you need an elevator. Layout - 3 bedrooms, 2 baths on the upstairs of the apartment. The other floor of the apartment has a sitting room with table, another small sitting room/office, and a small kitchen with a laundry machine (no dryer, have to hang clothes either outside the window or on the drying rack that was there). Kitchen - has a fridge and coffee machine!

Great location

Excellent location for exploring Chiado, which is full of good restaurants, fun shops and easy Uber access to other neighborhoods. Mario and Rui were available and very helpful. Highly recommended.

We Can't Wait to Return!

The property is as described and in a terrific neighborhood, with easy access to great restaurants and other neighborhoods. Mario was a fabulous host --- quickly responded to questions and provided helpful tips. We will stay at Chiado Flats next time we are in Lisbon.

Amazing Stay!

We LOVED this place! The location was amazing - super close to everything: restaurants, grocery stores, sightseeing spots. The apartment was on the 3rd floor, which was a bit tough with an infant, but Mario allowed us to keep the stroller at the bottom of the stairs, which was a life saver. The place was very well equipped and super clean. It was a 2-story condo with plenty of space for everyone. Mario was an amazing host. He was proactive in his communication, gave us a great tour of the place, helped us with printing tickets. He was very professional, quick to respond to questions and provided good advice. He arranged airport transportation for us, which a bit more expensive, was such a great option traveling with 2 kids and an infant. We really enjoyed this spot!

Outstanding Rental

This was a terrific base from which to explore Lisboa. There's plenty of space and we all slept well. AC was appreciated. Fairly quiet city neighborhood. Be prepared for lots of exercise (lots of sets of stairs) to get to the grocery stores & sites - we loved it! Highly recommend. Enjoy your stay!

Fantastic

This amazing apartment did not disappoint in any way. There was lots of space (family with two teens) for us all, well furnished, well equipped, and comfy beds. Mario was very helpful before our arrival, during and after. The location is excellent with lots of places to eat nearby and is easy to reach by metro from the airport. Highly recommend

Quiet and centrally located

The apartment was clean, well equipped and very spacious. Its central location on a small side street meant it was super quiet and easy to walk to most attractions. The kitchen had everything we needed to make eating in easy. Bathrooms were a little dated but very clean and functional. We found the beds to be extremely comfortable and all the bedrooms had lots of storage and plenty of clothes hangers. There is no elevator but we had no issues with the stairs however if you have young children, mobility issues, or exceptionally heavy luggage, you may find the stairs a challenge. Mario was an exceptional host! We had problems with hot water in the main bathroom and Mario had it resolved immediately. Very responsive and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment.

Bonne adresse pour visiter Lisbonne

Très grand appartement ( sur 2 étages) situé dans le quartier Chiado. Confortable pour y accueillir 6 personnes. Nous étions à quelques escaliers de la place PedroIV et à proximité de la gare Rossio. Nous avons été accueillis par Mario qui nous a transmis des renseignements utiles pour l’appartement mais également pour nous faire connaître les épiceries et resto à proximité . Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans cet appartement. Il y a un appareil pour laver le linge et un séchoir pliable. Très apprécié. Nous pouvions faire beaucoup de visite à pied de l’appartement.

Mostly what we thought we were getting, a few caveats

Coordinating with the office was super easy and flexible. It’s a big place with sleeping capabilities in each room. Seems great for a large group of friends who just want a place to crash. The beds were not very comfy. The walk up stairs (4 stories) was tough with a toddler and the stairs within the apartment weren’t safe for her either. The bathrooms had a musty smell and the hot water sporadically worked. This stuff wouldn’t have mattered if we were out and about all day/night but with naps and bedtime, I spent a lot of time in the apartment and was hoping for something more comfortable/luxurious. Location was great though. Overall, it would be a great place for a different group, just tough with a baby.

Perfect location and a very helpfull owner

Great app with 3 rooms and 2,5 bathrooms, a kitchen, 2 living rooms. Some parts are a bit old but still OK. Only there was sometimes an unpleasant smell in the bathrooms. Location was also perfect to visit Lisboa. Communication was great and Mario, the housekeeper was a very nice and helpfull person. Could't be better.

Great location in the middle of everything

The appartement was next to all major streets giving us access to tons or places to visit by foot. 6 of us where staying for 3 nights, two couples with our 16year old daughters. The only complaint about the place are the beds and shower in the master bedroom. Very hard beds and water does not stay at intended temperature. Overall our stay was perfect as the city is so nice. Make sure to pac light as the place is on the 3rd floor. But rest assured Lisbon is super hilly and your in for a workout either way. The owner or managers office is right next to the place if you need anything . Ac in all rooms make this place very confortable as the weather was around 34-36 .. enjoy you’re stay

Quiet property in the middle of downtown

First time in Portugal with the family. Loved the appatment. Specious, stylish, clean. We had everything we needed. Mario was very quick to respond, very helpful answering all my question before and during our stay. The appartment is very quiet. Location is great! Right in the middle of tourist activities and the restaurants. Fine view on St Jorge castle.Overall pleasant experience of the appartment and area around.

My title sums it up. We had an amazing trip to Lisbon (first time for all of us). The flat is spacious, clean and comfortable. Walkable to all the main sights and surrounded by great restaurants. Mario was an incredibly gracious and attentive host who always answered our questions in a timely manner and even arranged a car service for us.

Perfect Lisboa stay!

Can’t say enough good things about this stay! Excellent accommodations for four adults as we visited Lisbon. Mario greeted us upon arrival and gave us a walk-through. Well equipped and clean. GREAT location. Walking distance to all neighborhoods in the old town and close to the metro. Handy food markets and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous location and lovely accommodation

Our family of 5 stayed at Mario’s property for 3 days. We were in a central location to so many of Lisbon’s wonderful sights, restaurants and parks. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Perfect place to stay

Location is perfect for restaurants, bars, shopping. Apartment is spacious and very clean. Four adults stayed, but it could have accommodated more. Coffee, laundry, and everything you need is supplied. A great place to stay.

Lovely, Quiet, Center City Oasis

A five minute walk (downhill) to the Rossio train station in central Lisbon, this three bedroom, two and one half bath apartment was ideal in terms of location, community feel, and the general friendliness of Mario the property manager. Up three flights to the first floor, so those with ambulation issues should probaably re-think this place, and come to think of it, Lisbon in general because of the city's topography. Once landing on the first floor, the bedrooms and two baths are situation on the floor above assuring privacy. In the future when we travel to Lisbon we will again stay here. It was lovely.
